I am floored and really disappointed at how you managed to "screw up" my recent reorder for Maui Jim Typhoon replacement lenses; a product that you did so well the first time. The initial job you performed had a mirrored top & bottom mirrored finish with lessened mirror gradient in the middle from which is difficult to see in the photo attached.

The "online only" communication set the stage for difficulty and problems when an email was missed originally about wanting the mirrored finish; though clearly stated as to the reason for a reorder.

So, I have to resend back the non-mirror and my original glass lenses; which you lose and replace with polycarbonate? Then, after another month you send me "Blue Bug" lenses. What the heck?

I thought that you had the specs from the previous order?

These are clearly non-gradient mirrored BLUE finish lenses? $238.16 was fair for the Progressive lenses, but $132.49 to make Blue Bug eyes! $370.65 total and this is NOT what I ordered.

I want my Glasses!

To provide a brief overview, my initial order was dispatched to Lensabl on July 26th. Unfortunately, my glasses were damaged (due to lens not being the correct shape) upon arrival, forcing me to return them promptly on August 11th. Since then, I've reached out to twice, seeking updates on the status of my order, first on August 29th and again on August 31st. On both occasions, I was informed that an update would be provided as soon as the lab had one. It's now September 5th, and I'm still left in the dark regarding the whereabouts of my glasses.

This situation is incredibly frustrating, especially as I rely on my glasses to be productive at work. It's crucial to understand that this level of service is entirely unacceptable, and I cannot idly stand by while feeling taken advantage of.

I kindly request that Lensabl expedite the resolution of this matter and provide me with a clear timeline for when I can expect to receive my glasses. Their prompt attention to this issue is greatly appreciated.

Utterly Terrible Company

Sent my glasses in for lenses and got them back two weeks later. The lenses were not made right and were misshapen around the edges. I had to email the company for over a week before I got a response. Finally sent them back to get fixed. Two weeks go by and I hear nothing so I email the company. They respond a day later saying that their having difficulty with the lenses and they need the dummy lenses. I had originally sent the glasses with lenses already in them by the way. I asked them why I wasn't notified that they needed the dummy lenses sooner and why they couldn't use the lenses that were already in the glasses and got no response. So I sent them the other lenses. Over a week goes by and I finally have my glasses back though the lenses are still not acceptable and my glasses were clearly not handled with care because there are scratches all over the bright gold frames. I will never use this company again and I will absolutely not send my glasses back to be fixed because clearly they don't care about quality. The company is also really hard to get ahold of since it's only through email.

I wanted to love this company. Great concept. Not ridiculous pricing... but... customer service, follow-up and customer care in general is reason to take your business elsewhere. I've purchased at least 5 pairs of lenses from them over the last year. One transaction went smooth. Most recently, I sent my frames, double-wrapped in bubble wrap, only to receive two emails from support: 1. We only received one of your frames 2. Your frame is broken and considered "risky". The back and forth that ensued was ridiculous. I finally got them to send a photo of the broken frames, which were in fact snapped in half in a way that would indicate they were broken when the original lens was being removed. Note, I took a photo for the bi-focal sizing seconds before packaging the frames for shipping and they were 100% intact. But hey, these were older frames, relatively thin acetate around the lenses so that's a risk I took. To communicate that they were "risky" versus clearly communicate that they were irreparably damaged and therefore garbage, is lame. Not to mention my whole order (the other frames that took another week to confirm that they did in fact have them) were put on hold while all this was going down. My last communication through their formal support system requested a call from someone in management to explain how this could be standard protocol. Crickets. No word whether they received my note to toss the broken frame in the garbage, status on my other frames/lenses or a call. Just crickets.
Update: I received a call from another support representative who is working to resolve the situation. We shall see how things get resolved but in the short term have bumped my rating to two stars.
