Hope this helps you decide! Being laid off, I called and asked if Lensabl had a better coupon than the one on their site. TWICE, a rep said "sure, I'll get someone to email or call you!" Great! But they didn't... Finally, I had it with waiting, so went to order - BAM! Out of Stock. Called Support, got the promise of an email when it's back in... cool! But... they didn't. Finally, I saw it was back in stock, and ordered. All good? No, not yet. They delayed the 1/7/21 order without any notification, and I'm still waiting on 1/22 - WTH? When I put in yet another ticket, explaining what a bad 1st order this has been, and suggesting that maybe they cut down their profit on this one, and refund me at least a partial, they turned me down flat, and said that they had no record of any of this. Well, Lensabl, if you didn't that's a training issue with your reps, and if you did, I'm unconvinced you'd do anything different anyways. This is the exact opposite of Zappo's. Zero Stars and never again!
FOLLOWUP: finally got glasses but they screwed up the prescription and I cannot for the life of me get support to answer back - probably only recourse is to chargeback my credit card. Horrible.
This customer service person (Jayme) deserves a raise! The shipping was a bit messed up BUT not because of Lensabl... it was USPS that was mixed up... but also because of these crazy times (Coronavirus). I would recommend this company to everyone and if you were lucky enough to have the same customer service representative as I did with you in the best hands probably in the industry. I have to admit that I've been a pushy -impatient and hard to please customer at times... but Lensabl has went ABOVE AND BEYOND the normal call of duty PLUS SOME! You will be happy and satisfied if you use this company. Take it from me hard to please Customer that's very very pleased!

The glasses are beautiful, but I ordered in November of 2021 and just received my glasses today, april 21 2022.
Along the way I had to call, email, beg, message, harass, write anyone and everyone who works here because I had spent so much money on these and I could not reach anyone. Several emails and messages (at least 20) were IGNORED. I really thought I was out of all that money. After 7 months, they refunded me a paltry $56, which did nothing for the months and months and months of uncertainty and TERRIBLE customer service. PLEASE learn from me, order yout glasses from SYLK and take them to an optician. This company is REALLY SCARY>
Gold Cazal's 644 look great... my prescription was dead on... nice. Everything I asked for. Never got bored with my questions, great place to send your frames and get quality lenses.
Constant delays, excuses, and blaming everything on their "high quality standards." I've paid over $300 for a set of lenses, they have my expensive frames in-house that I had to mail them for installation, they've exhausted my insurance benefits for the year with this transaction being processed, and still after a month since payment, I have no product and only a list of excuses from them.
They've restarted production on my lenses 3 separate times now because of their "high quality standards." Yet, the customer, is paying the price for these delays. What's really behind the slow production over there? You can't have a successful business that has to make something 3 times for each customer.
I've spent much more time than I'd like to admit, just trying to get answers from them. Its as if the CS agents are reading from an excuse script each time I reach out. The timelines they give me continue to get shorter, yet the production continues to require restarting after quality inspection.
Unfortunately, my scenario is not unique. After my frustration started, I found dozens of reviews online detailing the exact same runaround from Lensabl with delays. I will not recommend Lensabl to my worst enemy, and I will find as many places that I can to share this terrible experience to warn others.

I bought some sunglasses I was obsessed with for over a year. I wear glasses all the time though, don't like contacts, and need my glasses especially for driving. So I needed to figure out a way to get my prescription in them because I just spent a good amount of money on these amazing sunglasses, I want to wear them all the time. I found lensabl online and was a bit anxious sending off my precious sunglasses, but they worked fast and I got them back a week later and they are PERFECT! They are polarized, did not break the bank, and look awesome! They look the exact same as the old lenses, and when I switch to them from my glasses, there is no difference the prescription is perfect. At one point during my order, I got an email from lensabl saying they had to restart my order because the lenses they had made failed the quality control check. I super appreciate them communicating with me about this, as well as taking the time to quality check them, because they came back perfect! They even sent back my original lenses with it! I seriously cannot stress enough how awesome this is and how excited I am to now have my prescription in these sunglasses!
I was so excited to get lenses put in a pair of frames that I really liked. Lensabl offers many great options for lenses. When I finally received my frames back I was quickly disappointed in the quality of work and accuracy of my prescription. After dealing with customer service they agreed to remake my lenses for me. After a long wait I finally received my frames for the second time, but feel as though the lenses are even worse than they were the first time around. First off, the lenses themselves do not fit properly in the frames. The lenses nearly pop out every time I clean them. Also, my prescription is still not accurate. I had to take my glasses into a local optician to have them read and confirm my findings. Both my pupillary distance and ocular center were inaccurate. My favorite glasses now cause me eye pain and fatigue. This has been an extremely frustrating experience and I am not sure where to go from here. I just wish the lenses were made properly and to a higher standard considering the price tag. Now I have a $300 pair of glasses that I can't wear.
GREAT-had a strange circle appear on my lenses contacted them was quickly sent a return label and with in about 2 weeks I got back? New lenses? Or recoated--all fine.

Not good. Ordered on the 7th of December 2022 and received my Glasses on January 23,2023. At no time did anyone contact me as to why it was taking so long, I had to contact them.
I received as a gift a pair of Razer Smart glasses. My intention are to use them mainly for all my video conference calls. But I need to use prescription glasses to work on my computer so I send my Razer glasses to Lesabl in order to add my prescription. I wne throught the whole process online. Sent my Razer glasses and it took 2 to 2.5 months before I got them back more than a month just for the shipoing back to me via USPS. The prescription was wrong. So I contacted the customer service and then took care of me very well and made sure that this time they got the right prescription and also made sure that the order was correct on the type of glasses I wanted. I requested that when they ship it back to make sure it will not take 1.5 months. Which they did and it took only 2 weeks. And I got them back and everything is working well now.
Lensabl does what they say. Getting your frames to and from them is mostly easy.; if you need a box, they'll send you a box. They even do fancy progressive lenses and Transitions. Ultimately, I think my glasses are ok, but since they are progressive, I'll have to wear them a little while to be sure.
But - some things need tidying up on the site.
1. their online eye scrip test, if you pay for it, is not added to your "prescriptions" list, which is confusing.
2. they have their own yearly lens plan you can purchase if you like, but they are still considered an out of service provider re: insurance. This is fine, but the site kb page, dated 2018, still says "We are working with insurance carriers to be able to provide this as a payment option."
3. They need "PD" (pupillary distance) as part of your scrip, but this is not mentioned initially. Same for " segmentation height" if you were getting progressive lenses. This requires taking a photo with a card under your nose, which seems easy, but really isn't. Yet after spending quite a bit of time on this, i was informed by customer service that they did not need it. If true, that should be removed from the website.
Very happy with Bose Tenor prescription sunglasses. See and hear great! Easy setup. I notice a spare set of lenses included and imagine those are the non prescription lense.
This was the third pair of eyeglasses I repurposed by getting new lenses.
I've been satisfied each time, but the most recent took a bit longer than I expected.

I sent some dead stock, vintage frames to have made into my Rx. They came back about a week and a half after they arrived at the lab. They were returned to me in a beautiful new case! I love them!
My lens are great, I love being able to use my favorite frames. However, I must mention delivery was s-l-o-w. It took 6 weeks from the time I ordered.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
