They screwed up my articles of organization so I am having trouble getting an LLC bank account and it took them twice as long as they said it would. If they need info to finish what you want they won't reach out to you so I had to check back constantly.
They took my money, put my order on "HOLD", and never let me know why... Its been two months and still I have no LLC... They don't respond to my email inquiries and kept my money... I'm out $350 for nothing... I guess a pack of lawyers will know how to cheat you out of $350... It's an amount not worth going to court for and they rely on that...

LegalZoom ranks at bottom of all bad and regrettable business transactions I have ever made. What makes it worst is that we have a certain level of expectations with "Legal Service". Don't be fooled by the positive reviews, what is more telling is the consistent theme of the bad reviews.
After dealing with them for 4 months, I am convinced that they are nothing but a network of a borderline scammer with the sole intent of selling you worthless services. All of these free consultation "Benefits" and advice supposedly get as a part of your order are nothing but sales solicitation form their affiliates disguised as part of the price.
Their support is not any better. Not once have they ever returned a promised call where they failed to send the EIN application to IRS. I ended up getting the EIN assigned in less than 5 minutes online on the IRS site. Needless to say, nothing they provide was of any value.
Do your homework before you buy into this. Go to your local attorney, you will be much better served.

I had an issue with the name of the business when I just completed the package. Somehow there was a second LLC added to the end of the business name. Aimee fixed it for me and sent confirmation. Great and fast customer service.

I opened chat in the hopes of having a smooth cancellation of an order placed over the weekend. Not only did Aimee meet my expectations, she exceeded them. I did not know if I would be able to cancel my order online. She assured me I was able to. Aimee also showed me where to see that my order was cancelled and that the refund was in progress. Sleazy... scammy... would not use them. You're better off finding an inexpensive attorney than spending money on documents that will not protect you. Tried them for a LLC with no help from them to help direct the prompts that create the documents that are to protect you. Plus all they try to do is prompt you with add on and unnecessary fees. Stay away!

--The directions online and the person who went through our initial application were wrong about the requirements for the name of a nonprofit, causing the first delay.
--LegalZoom paired us with an attorney who had no non-profit experience. In addition he was 20 minutes late to our 30 minute appointment, he was condescending, and he was thoroughly unprepared.
--We were charged prematurely for our business advantage account.
--The accounting firm LegalZoom partners with completely missed our first appointment. The second appointment was made with another professional with no non-profit experience and he was 15 minutes late to our appointment.
--There is no "submit" button for the form 1023 so if you start on it and continue to work on it, it just submits without your knowledge and then you don't have the ability to get it back to continue working on it.
--You have to click through multiple links (some of which are hidden) on the LegalZoom website to find the tiny, light grey caveat that the "rush processing" for the Express Gold doesn't include the time it takes the State to get through the paperwork. We chose the $359 package over the $99 package specifically for the rush purpose.
--I reached out to LegalZoom three times to find out why our application was delayed. Each time they said they would look into it and get back to me. No one EVER got back to me. I had to reach out again for a fourth time to ask what was happening and they told me the day before we were rejected. It turned out were were rejected because of two errors that were made by LegalZoom, not by us. So we were waiting seven weeks to be rejected because of THEIR errors. Then they refused to do anything to make it right. We had to pay the fee to refile, even though it was THEIR errors that caused the need to refile.
