Mr. Stan Wruble is a professional lawyer. Stan is brilliant and outstanding. When he says he will fight your case and get it dismissed. He will keep his promises. And that's what he did for me and I wouldn't thank you enough. Thank you Stanley for listening to me and fighting hard for me. I appreciate your hard work and words of wisdom. God sent me an Angel in my time of needs. I will definitely consider you to anyone that going through what I went through. Thank you again

“Oil Slick Salespeople with Ivy League Con Artist Execs”

Bazza R.
1/25/23

Where do I begin? If you want a place to work that makes clients happy, then run for the hills. The culture that is bestowed upon you is a complete brainwashing environment. There are many layers of management that a) are not competent, b) apply a lot of pressure daily, c) will lie to you every step of the way only to make sure they hit their numbers, d) most new people will be stuck with the worst of the worst internal partners, which makes your job nearly impossible, e) as close to used car sales as you can get, f) a very bad product that the company charges a monthly subscription and tries to hide from clients that they are not doing anything worth of value to the websites, g) you will find unpaid commission checks only to find out you have to fight for the money owed, etc... Bottom line, folks, if you want to be a part of a "Boiler Room" philosophy, then have at it. Your clients will hate you because what management claims to provide to the clients seems to fail almost every time. In your interview, ask this question, "How many website accounts have been left over the last two years, and how much turnover is there?". A ton is the answer. The reason for it is they don't do any quality SEO, provide horrible service, and the billing to clients is like a maze. I warn all people who think this is a good career. It is where you can get stuck, and before you know it, you have given up your life to be at a dead-end type of job. They make you read from a script in training to trick the clients. I know this and wouldn't adhere to such scams. It is a sick culture. Most managers are only there to defend their job and constantly demand daily Sales Force input and things like, "how much did you sell today?", etc... The reason for the SalesForce is that they know you will not be there long and want as much data input so they can make money with other companies under the TR umbrella. After you left and made some money, guess what? You may think other companies will look at you with some class. Well, it is quite the opposite. They look at you as the bottom of barrel sales people because that is how they train you. Companies have caught on as they should. You have made a deal with the devil (FindLaw), and recruiters know it. You are not this well-rounded salesperson they claim to have made you into, but you are a con artist and don't even know it. Advice to Management 'Clean house' and stop the old way of managing. You have the resources to create a great product, but corporate greed has taken over. Take care of clients and quit training sales reps to scam their clients. You all know your SEO is putrid, and the billing system is a scam.

Do not hire these scammers! The sales rep promises one thing and then does not deliver. They insist that there is no way out of their contract. You would think fraudsters would pick a different industry to defraud.

As others have commented, if you buy their advertising be prepared for poor service, limited results and no way to end the contracts early. Do not rely on statements from the sales rep. Be sure to see in writing the cancellation terms. The master agreement is misleading as it provides for a 90 day notice of cancellation but then provided that the actual cancellation is either at the end of the contract or the notice periods, whichever is later. So you dont get out early despite poor results.

They are GROSSLY INACCURATE regarding their cases. REPEATEDLY I have contacted them to review their BS account of my Divorce proceedings construed by a malicious prosecuting Ex. My Case resulted in "Nolle Prosequi" and they have irresponsibly refused to change it to the correct outcome. Poor Professionalism without regard to consequences to others.

Tip for consumers:
Block them

First, if anyone ever demands a one year contract, then their service sucks. In a year on Findlaw, and 6 months paying for a "top spot" I got exactly 1 client. I should have known better, i tried working with them about 10 years ago and had the same results, but hopped that things would have changed since then.

I paid for a year's service upfront. As soon as they received their money, I almost never heard from them. Also, review any contract they send you very carefully, as they required a 90-day cancellation notice to terminate, even though we had specifically agreed to a one-year service term, thus charging me for 15 months of service.

They allow anyone to review you on this site. They claim to give us 14 days to review and verify the person writing the review is someone we have worked with but I have never once received a notice of the review left under my name. The person reviewed me anonymously didn't even use my first name in the review but claimed to have signed a "contract" with me? Then claimed that one of my associates took over the case but never stated the first or last name of the so called associate. The review is fraudulent. The entire story in the review never happened at all. I've never signed up with this company for any marketing services. I've never made an account with them and I don't appreciate the false reviews damaging my private practice.

This company is a fraud! They are the most useless company that I have ever seen! They do not provide any assistance for ~2000 USD per month! It is completely worthless, irresponsive company! They just charge you for nothing and get benefit of the Thomson Reuters name! Again, this company is fraud!

Dated 10-3-22
I decided that I had enough of the small SEO companies and (after being chased for 2 years by Jim Carlen at Findlaw) that I would go bigger and hopefully get 2-4 good personal injury cases a year. I was promised many many things, none of which came to fruition. Jim Carlen of Milford, New Hampshire promised he would get rid of bad ratings (a screen shot he sent me which he used to draw me in). The low ratings and doxing came from BLM and most were all done all within a week after I called them out on the riots around the country (Google won't take them down even though they are from parts of the country I certainly don't have clients from). Jim Carlen promised that Reuter's, a big nationwide company, could get them taken down. Not only did they not do so, they also never made any attempt. Jim Carlen also sold me on placement spots within my area. Personal Injury and DUI. I paid an extra 500.00 per month to be at the top of the page in the Directory in areas around and in my city. Nothing, and I mean nothing, came from those. He told me I could drop those ads any time. Of course, when I tried to (after 7 months of nothing) They told me they would not drop them. I canceled the subscription to the website well in advance of the year contract but that didn't matter to this creep. I was promised SEO work to help my page, that never happened. I was promised my website would stay in place if I decided not to extend. What I found out much later was, they take it down and send you a Zip Drive of the website you bought and paid for ($6000. 00) without many of the things that made it look decent online. Do not trust these guys and with your website. The smaller guys do the same job (not much) but you don't get screwed like you do at FindLaw. If you have ANY questions, please call me *******575. It takes a lot for me to write a review, but I am one unhappy former client. I do not like being screwed over like FindLaw has done. Jim Carlen should be fired for his many misrepresentations to me. I honestly cannot understand how this guy sleeps at night. One commission is worth this? No, it's not.

I got a FindLaw website last November and signed a year contract. It took them almost 5 months for them to build a 7 page website. I paid about $520 a month and got a handful of calls, mostly from other advertising companies trying to win my business. I did get one client however but it was pretty much a big waste of money. I hired a new company that does phenomenally better.

Just absolutely horrible experience. Zero leads generated but still think I am to pay them over $2600 a month. From the first month I told them to cancel the services but they try to lock you in to long term contracts because clearly they know their product sucks.

I contacted a law group in Anchorage, Alaska regarding help with my immigration case. That law group then attempted to charge me four times the normal amount that all other law groups in the area charge. I then left a review on FindLaw. A month later Rebecca at FindLaw emailed me on Wednesday saying that the law group had disputed my review because I never hired them. She then gave me until Monday to respond. Luckily I have a habit of checking my emails daily and responding immediately, otherwise I might not have had the time to respond in just five days after she emailed me. Who does such a thing... gives their users 5 days to respond? We know she gave the law firm a longer time to respond. Regardless, I responded and explained everything. And then I didn't hear back from Rebecca. Two weeks later I asked for an update, and she responded saying that "The Challenge Team has determined to remove the review. They have decided the law firm did not represent or consult with you." --- as if there is a "Challenge Team" at FindLaw... as if they are some huge operation that has a separate department that researches these reviews and makes decisions on "challenges". Obviously FindLaw is not concerned with their users' experiences with the law firms unless they hired a law firm, because I had an email consultation with the law group and they tried to rip me off for four times the normal rate for the type of case I have.

The issue here is that FindLaw is not a service that users can trust. Law firms pay to be on FindLaw, and if FindLaw's income is going to be threatened by a user's complaint, then FindLaw is going to side with the law firm and not the user. They give their users small arbitrary amounts of time to respond, and they do not have the decency to update their users with the results of their "challenge teams' investigations" - lol.

My daughter finally talked me into going into this store after always staying away because I've heard they were way too over priced. She had a Christmas gift card she wanted to spend and so I took her and also signed her up for the rewards program. After I started receiving emails on there offers and sales! I have to admit. Within 1 online order I applied and got there credit card and got even more savings and benefits with that.

"Here's the critical thing to understand about FindLaw's service agreement: FindLaw will enforce the agreement and they will not hesitate to litigate if you try to leave early.

Don't expect any good faith or understanding if things just aren't working out; FindLaw will attempt to compel you to pay every last dime required by the service agreement."

Further, the representatives have no incentive to assist you when you express distress with the failing websites and 6/10 the site will not be lucrative.

Ok, so I thought I'd never wear anything from that store again. After all, I am 15. Well, I guess I was wrong. I was looking for a Halloween costume, so I went into my basement, and I found this old cat ears, I had from what? Oh, 2nd grade. All I just did was ripped off the bow, found a red sweatshirt, and collar, and bam! I have a cute Halloween costume, that I didn't have to spend money on. I guess their accessories are too cute!

This is a company that is known for selling products on several year contracts and then leaving the client in the wind. Service is terrible and don't expect them to do anything with your account once set up. Even if your spending thousand of dollars with Findlaw every month, it is not important enough for them to follow through on what they sold to my Firm.
Stay away and be very cautious of there sales tactics. Bait and switch comes to my mind.

Chuck Eddy and Bryan Mercer of TR FindLaw got me on a recorded web conference, talked really smooth, and tried to get me to accept a total garbage website as just needing a few tweaks. When I told them that the website was bad, and that a lot of work would have to be done, there was a long silence. Possibly, they are used to selling garbage and getting away with it. The website even included a photo of a car driver at a traffic stop giving a police officer a $100 bill. You would have thought that they would have been embarrassed about that, or even apologized, but nope. Instead, I got an e-mail trying to create an impression that all was well, maybe to create an e-mail paper trail to use against me later. So, I had to spend hours writing an e-mail back to put the real facts into an e-mail paper trail. I had to do that a second time too. Chuck Eddy and Bryan Mercer were terrible people, and dealing with them was a terrble experience. I wrote an e-mail discussing the options, one of which was me suing TR FindLaw, and they assigned a new project manager.

TR FindLaw charged me thousands of dollars for the time period when the website was not remotely decent enough to go online.

Ultimately, the content of the website was written primarily by me, which took me dozens of hours, probably more than 50 hours.

The new project manager, Kathy Scovill told me that it did not matter if my website was good, if people were calling me. However, when she said that, the website was not even online yet, so what did she base that on? Kathy Scovill told me that people looking online for lawyers look at only (1) the type of law the lawyer practices and (2) the lawyer's geographic location, and that other content does not matter. Let's just say that she gave me an extremely strong impression that she just did not want to do the work to do a good job. In the end, I could never get her to do everything correctly. I finally gave up. She was untalented and ignorant, but she could have tried.

TR FindLaw told me that Google Business Pages were crucial and that, for Google Business Pages, I had to rent an office with my own unique address. So, I signed a one year office lease, which cost me thousands of dollars. I later discovered that Google Business Pages is to attract LOCAL clients and I had told TR FindLaw multiple times (and I do mean "multiple" and I do mean "explained" in detail) that I was not trying to attract local clients and that I was trying to attract OUT OF TOWN clients. The bottom line was that I did not need what they were selling, but they sold it to me, so they got my money, and I got nothing.

The TR FindLaw website was outrageously expensive, compared to godaddy, especially because TR FindLaw charged me thousands of dollars when the website was not yet nearly decent enough to go online, and the TR FindLaw website never generated anywhere near enough calls or contacts to come anywhere close to justifying that expense.

TR FindLaw is sleazy and does bad work for ripoff prices. What a terrible mistake I made signing a contract with TR FindLaw. I wasted more than $10,000 and probably 100+ hours of my time dealing with them.

When I began my professional relationship with Findlaw, it was based on false and misleading pretenses by sales representative Jessica Mertz of Florida. When I professionally brought this to the attention of the powers at be, they have largely acted in bad faith against my law firm and have continuously struck out at my law firm and have avoided and delayed conversations to solve our professional issues. I feel that I have been lied to by Findlaw and that they are willfully out to destroy my law firm. I could never have fathomed that such conduct would even occur with a professional organization. Aside from Findlaw from trying to destroy my practice, their conduct has adversely effected my health. This has been the worst professional experience of my legal career.

I honestly do not know where to start praising Rebecca Cosca, she is simply amazing. I have paid good money in the past to other attorneys that are very reputable and claim to be the best at what they do, but the results are what counts, and the results with Rebecca were way better! Rebecca is one of a kind. She has a style that is uniquely a combination of professional and comforting. Rebecca was able to get me the best outcome possible in my DUI case. I am not the type to post or write reviews about anyone or anything but Rebecca was so extraordinary that I am compelled to post a review about this amazing attorney. Do yourself a favor if you ever find a need for a criminal, DUI, attorney Rebecca is simply the best choice in the state of Maryland. Her fees are very reasonable and her professionalism is outstanding.
