I would like to take a moment to acknowledge Aimee in your customer service chat department. She was extremely helpful with me today which I am extremely grateful for. I had tried calling your customer service department number however it said that employees were working from home due to the virus and was not available at the time I needed assistance. The chat option became available and though I had my doubts about getting all my questions answered Aimee did remarkably well. She was patient and professional. I sensed that about her through chatting. I hope you know how important and valuable she is to Legal Zoom. Thank you.
I was referred me to Legal Zoom to get my LLC filed. I could have never handled properly myself or either it would have been an overly time consuming experience. Legal Zoom has exceeded meeting the expected completion time which was not until May.
Each time I have contacted customer service, the reps such as Violet and if you can look up the reps on my prior calls (order #*******) have gone above and beyond normal customer service expectations. They have taken the time to explain areas where I lack knowledge and expedite requests when they can.
I will forever be a client of Legal Zoom. Next I will be filing for a DBA and Legal Zoom will be my source for filing. Also I'm going to sign up for the Atty program

I bought a will in 2018, and that purchase came with a 30 day free trial of "Legal Advantage Plus." What I didn't realize was that the free trial turned into a paid subscription after 30 days, and since they had my credit card number, they could successfully charge me $15 a month. Its on me that I didn't spot the payments on my credit card statements until now, but shame on them for the approach. You'll note in my image that the cute little free trial is still active (now canceled). They don't even bother showing it as a paid subscription. I'm paying for something they say is free!?
My customer service rep. (Carrie) did everything she could to assure me she would take care of the problem. She was kind and courteous and extremely helpful. She fixed my concern in a quick efficient manner. If this is typical of the experience at Legal Zoom then you all are doing it right. I assure you that in 4 to 6 months when I am going through the motions of opening my insurance agency I will be using Legal Zoom products to do so. I move from a company agent to a 1099 contracted agent at that time. The goal of my trial run experience was to get a feel for the products offered and the level of service available. I am more than happy and I will for sure be using the monthly membership during my transition from employee to career agent later this year. I want you to know that Carrie is as much a part of me becoming a member later as is the quality of the products you. Bravo Carrie and Bravo Legal Zoom "A future loyal member". I'm an 83 year old, computer challenged senior. If not for Aimee's cheerful, fluent, and kind assistance, I might have taken a dive off my 22nd floor balcony. What she experienced helping me might have driven her to dive off her balcony, but she hung in there with me, never once showing any sign of stress at my lack of computer skills. Legalzoom is a TERRIBLE company whose business practices consist of trying to trick people out of as much money as possible while using aggressive up-selling tactics to try and get even more money out of their customers.
In my case Legalzoom somehow FORGOT to submit my Statement of Information to the Secretary of State for 6 MONTHS resulting in a penalty of HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS sent to me- that's how I found out Legalzoom completely failed to perform the service I PAID THEM FOR. Of course after receiving the penalty invoice from the franchise tax board of California I contacted Legalzoom customer service and was promptly treated with skepticism and denial that they had any fault in the matter. After days spent on the phone with a multitude of Legalzoom customer service people and never being allowed to speak to a supervisor and getting nowhere, I decided one day to check my business page on the Secretary of State's website and magically somehow the Statement of Information had been filed... by Legalzoom... 6 MONTHS LATE and only AFTER I had contacted them alerting them to my problem.
Overall my experience with Legalzoom has been filled with nothing but pain, frustration, and overpaying for services. Even their premium package options when setting up a legal entity with them consists only of "free" phone consultations consisting of relentlessly pushy salespeople trying to up-sell me on their third party services. In other words, what you're essentially buying when you add on premium package options with Legalzoom is the privileged to be aggressively up-sold to by their third party partners. Unbelievable. Even timeshare rental seminars provide you with a free shuttle ride and some snacks. Not Legalzoom though, they just charge you for it.
I will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER recommend Legalzoom or it's services to ANYONE EVER. STEER CLEAR. This unscrupulous company wants nothing more than to take your money at a time when you're trying to build a brighter future for yourself and your loved ones. My best advice to you is don't walk- RUN AWAY from anything having to do with LegalZoom.

I could not access my new will on the website. I used the chat function and spoke to "Aimee". She let me know that the system was having trouble with access to documents today. She was able to email me my will. She handled my problem quickly and professionally.

I had applied for TradeMark and had taken their complete coverage package. This package includes everything including legal fees, implying they check for any similar marks, they review the application, ask us to fill in the classification of goods. After you fill the questionnaire etc. The application is checked for errors and filed by them. Upon submitting my application after 2 months got an email from The Office Action by USPTO stating some classification goods and services falling in different classes: So either pay for additional class or remove the same. I intended to apply only for 1 class so it made sense to remove the extra/ wrong classification of goods. I called up LegalZoom and spoke to their rep. And it was appalling that he suggested we would have to buy some services to fix the mistake done in filing the trademark application.
I didn't expect this answer, especially considering the fact that my only request was to FIX the mistake done in filing by LegalZoom and I was not asking for any kind of compensation or help which didn't fall under the scope of our purchase. I emailed but no response initially and later negative response!
If this issue is not fixed without any fees I intend to post the reviews everywhere and I will fight legally to get a refund + claim for harassment and damages due to their lack of service.
