I decided to use legal zoom to file articles of organization. I was told by several that this would be a pretty seamless process but I have had quite the opposite. I paid the initial fees(about 325 dollars) and about two weeks later, my checking account was drafted an additional (250 dollars) for registered agent fees. I did not authorize legal zoom as a registered agent. I'm not sure if it automatically defaulted to that but I never had any intention on legal zoom being the registered agent. I was then informed that I would need to contact the secretary of state to have legal zoom removed as the registered agent which is costing me additional money to have done. In order to complete the process of removing legal zoom as a registered agent, I need a copy of the original article of organization that was filed from legal zoom. When I reached out to customer service at legal zoom, I was informed that they could not provide me with a copy of the original documentation and that it would take a few days for me to get that. I also logged into my legal zoom account and cannot find the original documentation. Initially the rep said that I could get a copy in 2-3 business days, now they are saying 30 days. Is your team competent?

Aimee went above and beyond and I appreciate it! I'm sure older people are hard to deal with in today's age of technology. I needed a will especially with the higher risk now with COVID-19. So doing it online was extremely stressful to me instead of a person to person where he/she fills in the forms for me, etc. Thank you to her helping me to get around a costly mistake I made... especially without being able to work right now, I can't afford mistakes.
