My wife and I got the Estate Package from Legal Zoom. We went through multiple revisions and a couple of updates. We appreciated the ability to fill out the form, think about it, and then return and make changes. The forms make it easy to consider all the various permutations. Additionally, it's easier and faster to schedule a meeting with an online lawyer to review the document than having to schedule and then take the time to see them.
They have no remorse in not telling you what paperwork you would need. Then they charge you a monthly fee without telling you. Believe me, they sneak it in there. After I wasted $375. On something that was way more than I needed, it was that $14.95 charge that showed up in my acct 3 weeks later that prompted me to write this review. Not happy. Look for other options. You will be glad you did.

It's really a few simple things. First, when you enter your name for name check, you include the complete name, like: ABC Inc. After you pay for the service, then as you go through the screens, it asks you "what designation you want". Well, you have already included, so now they are asking you to put another Inc, after the inc you already included in the name. This is really dumb and should be corrected. The second problem is that there is no summary sheet for your corporation (I believe they had previously). You have to blindly rely on information typed in or go back to edit. The company wants you to pay first, then finish the service.

Didn't know what to expect, but chatted with an agent about creating my LLC for state fees only. Their work is free! Checked my proposed LLC name in entity search at state corporation commission. Get your EIN at IRS once you're solid on the name.

Legal Zoom is a bunch of Scam Artists and low-life thieves! They slipped in a recurring charge that we did not sign up for and charged us $250 to be out "registered agent" for another year. We called them and made them aware that we had changed the registered agent on Sunbiz.org and did not need this service AND never signed up for any recurring charges or received the email notice of the recurring charge that they lied about sending, and they said basically too bad for us, we don't issue refunds! These people are low-life thieves and con artists!
Jordan was very knowledgeable and easy to talk with. I wish more companies had representatives that communicate like they did. I had a lot of questions that were answered honestly. I'm a base level consumer but I was treated like I was top tier. Fantastic experience.

From beginning until end, Mychael was SUPERB. He's courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and kind. He has a nice friendly, helpful voice and he's also very patient. Legal Zoom takes longer than if you just do the work yourself, plus they charge ten times what the secretary of state charges. If you have to call their customer support number, expect to be on hold for one full hour. They give you the option to keep your place in the hold line and they will call you back, when I chose that option the call went strait to voicemail.

I wanted to rate legalzoom a zero but it's not possible on this site. I ordered $514 worth of products and almost a month later still haven't gotten the documents I ordered. I called customer service. 2 hours and 6 customer service reps later, no one knows where my documents are. So I call customer service again and talk to a female named Spencer. I tell her my situation and tell her I don't trust the company and want to cancel my order and get a refund per the 100% satisfaction guarantee. Her response - no. She just straight up said, no I am not going to cancel your order or give you a refund! So I had to contact my credit card company to get my money back and dispute the charges. I also contacted various agencies and submitted complaints about this horrid company.
