Shout out to Theresa and Deborah at the Shively Kroger to
Night. Theresa was the cashier and Deborah was the
Bagger. They were the ONLY lane open and it was backed
Up. There were four other employees standing around
Talking doing absolutely nothing! Theresa told me it was
Her day off, but she came in to help out. It's good
Employees like these two ladies that will finally get tired of
Doing the work for others and quit to go somewhere else
Where they are valued. Do better Kroger!

I work near the location on Egret Bay in League City, Texas and every time I go in, they don't have hot food. Wal Mart is up the road and they have hot food out by 8am. All I can say is that people do eat lunch before noon.
This grown woman did not know how much the charge was to get money off the card. She responds I don't know I don't take money off cards. While I was struggling with the transaction not knowing the charge. I had to reduce the amount. She comes over and presses the card button an said you have to press the card button if you pay by card. Ok thank you but can you plz leave me alone an stop talking time. She yells at me she a grown woman she don't need to shut up. I asked the security guard if he could get her away from me an make her stop talking to me. He said no I can't an the rude brunette kept repeating louder an louder she is a grown woman. By this time I need her to cancel my 88cent order. She say now you need my help after muttering under her breathe moments ago complaining about me. And I asked her to stop talking about me. Im having a crappy day an she made it worse. I will never shop her again while she works there. Merry X -mas eve to me
I went to Kroger in Alcoa, Tennessee, ealier today and as usual, all of their employees are pushing carts around store personal shopping for online buyers. This leaves multiple self checkout options and only two full service lanes open with lines backed up on a busy Saturday. The do not have the staff to bag your groceries so after paying for your groceries, you are expected to bag them. I have found this to be the standard rule and not the exception as I bag mybgroceries every time I shop there. I like the online service, but hire enough staff to do thst and don't pull them from front line positions. My cart was full and way too much for self checkout. Kroger customer service is non existent anymore. I miss the old days when you shopped, they had several lanes open and they bagged your groceries for you.
The guy was behind the counter. I asked for corned beef. He stared tryin to sell me pre sliced pastrami. I said I don't do pastrami. He said he had to fill the pre sliced orders. I didn't get my $#*!in corned beef. Why don't y'all just take my order. I'm pissed at Kroger on Teasley ln Denton Texas ******* and quite frankly pissed at Kroger in general. Nothing will resolve this expect free corned beef.
I had an issue with a ClickList order when not of the discounts were applied and I was charged almost twice of what the order was when I paid for it. I went to the service desk (Debra was very sweet and patient). The associate asked "Shane" about the order and he said they don't have anything to do with ClickList. Kroger ClickList. At a Kroger Store where I picked it up. I was charged $46.98 and he directed the associate to only return $35.48 because he is unable to count pounds. Last week, I picked up 3 pounds of ground meat only to realize when I went to use it that every one had expired the day before I picked it up. I can only guess under help/leadership of someone like Shane or who would hire someone like him is why the Youree Drive Store is going to Hell in a hand basket. Please check your products and receipts if you use ClickList from this store. Check your bags as well. I uncheck substitutions and they subbed anyway.
Don't waste your time and money. Shopping at Kroger on League City Pkwy,, League City,, Texas, I was overcharged for an item on sale. The following week, I took my receipt and cocky young African told me that they had no idea what their prices were the previous week. Told him that was not HEB's policy. He responded " Then go to HEB". I had the checker page the manager 4 times and manager never came out.hiding under his desk maybe?I complained to their Ohio headquarter on Feb.6 and have not received a response.guess they're trying to find the manager. Go to Kroger's website and you'll see that Kroger is a huge proponent of DEI.a theory that does away with merit and looks upon whites as white supremacists. Google DEI, go to Krogers website and see for yourselves that Kroger doesn't care about customer satisfaction.just virtue signaling.
I found rat feces in my SCHWEBEL bread. Amanda the store manager claims they aren't responsible for the product they sale customers. If I could give them no stars I would. I will never shop here again
Friday evening. One cashier her line has 7 people. Self check out, 10 people in line! I only stop here as a LAST RESORT. They do not care. They have 2 cashiers at registers doing paperwork.
Do not order from them especially using instacart I repeat do not order from them if you want a guarantee to get your food. For one they call me twice and told me they couldn't locate me and I gave them the apartment number twice for two the order was already running an hour and a half late and for three my order never arrived because they cancel it because they were too lazy to try to find my apartment and those were things that I needed for Christmas so I'm mad $#*! hell never again. The only reason I gave a 0ne be use I couldn't give a 0. I never written a review this is the first time but this is ridiculous. If you want to be guaranteed to get your items order from Walmart
I'm pleased with Kroger.com for a few reasons.
--Digital Coupons
--Weekly Ad
--Keeping Track of Fuel Points
--Grocery Lists
The Digital Coupons are easy to use and I never have to worry about losing them before I get to the store.
The Weekly Ad allows me to plan ahead for what I want to buy in the upcoming week. Rather than going to the store on Saturday, I'll wait until the next week's ad takes over on Sunday.
The Kroger at Madison and Edgewood in Indianapolis is like a red headed step child. This is not the ghetto but thats how this Kroger feels. They do not stock the brands I have come to expect at Kroger. One being Boarshead meats. They are charging $5 just to pick up your groceries so I won't be doing that. The pharmacy never has had a working drivethru even though it is equipped. The line for the pharmacy is atrocious. It's just a PITA to shop here, I always leave without being able to get all of my items so it is a major inconvenience.
I attempted to place a pickup order online and I received a RSV Error. I call their customer support and they told me I could not place an online order because I had not shopped in their store. I was advised to shop in their store to build a history then one day I'll be able to order online. What the HELL is that! I'm from California visting my 72 year old mother for her birthday and was looking to make her a birthday dinner. I deleted my online account, ordered from Amazon Fresh and had my groceries in two hours.
I had a delivery scheduled Wed Jan 17th between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. I work nights so I really needed this completed by 9:00 a.m. so I could go to sleep. Well it got to be almost 9:30 a.m. and no show no call. So I had to call and find out where they were, only to be told that there had been a delay and they would be by "sometime during the day", could not give me an estimate. I was livid, told them that would not work for me and canceled it. That was just terrible not giving me a notice this was not supposed to be a flexible time! Perhaps they need to have one that is a flex time, cuz that was NOT what I wanted. At least I am getting a refund and I had to complain enough to get a $20 store credit.
I live 3 blocks away
After 40 years they finally marked the parking so a normal car can fit in the spaces
But they give tickets without warning
I will NEVER be back again
I'll drive to the free parking no matter how far
Yes and the homeless guy giving out the tickets doesn't look like anyone who should be in the neighborhood but he's really waiting there for you to step away so he can write you up before you have a chance to pay
To go out off way to write a review for a grocery store speaks volumes. This business takes advantage of non-locals who don't know about "Kroger membership" and I'm sure they make a killing.
You go in, looks like your average Walmart or similar store, and you think you're getting a great deal until you get to the check out. There are huge stickers over each price to trick you into thinking the item is on sale, and you later find out the real price is more than you'd EVER pay for that item! There must be fine print that I didn't know to look for because the store looks so beyond average. I am in town for 2 days, and purposely tried to find low quality items that appeared a little cheaper, knowing I didn't need them long term. I bought THREE bags worth of small items, and spent $140! Example, there was a cheap cheap quality California wine that said $8, I got to check out and the price was $19.
I could have bought a decent wine for that. A pack of FIVE men underwear was $40! This is not even inflation, this is abusive. You could go to Publix or Walmart and be respected.
I could have got a weeks worth of groceries at a normal store! I could have spent less at Whole Foods and got real quality. The whole experience was so deceptive and unnecessary and I regret stepping foot in that store. I left so so upset and violated. Luckily I will never go back. Not surprised to see with 157 reviews they only have 1 full start. What an actual JOKE.
I switched from Walmart+ delivery to Boost Delivery to try and get fresher produce ( the only thing I was unhappy with at Walmart+) I ordered groceries weekly using Boost and every single time, there were issues, absorbent overcharging, ridiculous substitutions and overall terrible, terrible service. I called after giving them chance enough to ask for a partial refund on my membership cause I could no longer bear to put up with all the inconveniences their stupidity was causing and they refused! You have 7 days OR 3 deliveries to cancel. After that, you're out of luck, no matter how crappy the service they provide is. Just an example of the problems I was dealing with, here's the one that happened today & was the straw that broke the camels back. I ordered ground beef and specifically asked them not to substitute it if it was not in stock. The meat was not in stock so they substituted 4 boxes of cereal@ $6.99 each that they charged me for but did not deliver! So almost $28 worth of cereal that I didn't order or even receive instead of the ground beef i wanted. Completely unacceptable. If you're looking to sign up, RUN!
Plan on checking out and bagging your own groceries no matter how big your order is at the Neenah Fox Point Pick N Save location because they usually only have one full-service checkout lane open most days in fact last Sunday at 9am they had no full-service checkout lanes open and the store was busy. The one employee on duty watching over the self-checkout lane said the only other cashier was too busy training a new hire and she wasn't sure when the full-service checkout lane would be open so they basically let half a dozen or more customers with full shopping carts check out and bag all of their own groceries and none of them were happy about it. Evidently Pick N Save values training new hires more than taking care of their customers.
If you want good customer service shop at Festival right across the street, that's where I will do my shopping from now on.
At least two out of three times shopping at Kroger's the price of items on sale are charged at the full price at the register when checking out. I recently went to the store on Hwy 105, and was told by the manager they were not honoring the weekly ad due to inventory shortages. The items were on display with a price more than double the weekly ad price. Does anyone else pay attention to the price when checking out? If you do not, you have been warned...
Answer: Kroger began cheating people out of money at their self checkouts.
Answer: I tried for 2 hours to get in touch with a human. Chat agent, Yelhen let me sit there and then went AWOL. Called every 800 number I could find...impossible to get past the bots. I called the local store in Livonia,,MI - phone rings, then you get music, phone rings then get music, I was in that loop for 15 minutes. The only way to get ahold of a human is to go to a store, they can't blow you off then. Do not ever start me their over priced products.
Kroger has a rating of 1.3 stars from 348 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Kroger most frequently mention customer service, self checkout and many times. Kroger ranks 87th among Recipe sites.
