Love this store especially since I've gotten into couponing. I have a plus card and downloaded the Kroger app that uploads coupons directly to my savings card! I have gotten some great deals using manufacturers coupons on top of their already great savings. They always have the greatest deals on energy drinks such as rockstars for only a dollar! My kroger store is always my first choice before walmart.
I purchased two packages of fresh fish, went home put in my refrigerator, the very next am open refrigerator and it smells like bad Fish, sure enough it was the fish I just purchased. I went to the store where I purchased the fish, I was greeted by a rude older employee: "What do you want the desk doesn't open until 8a"?. I checked my watch it was 7:47a. I said ok, well may I speak to a manager, she rolls here eyes and goes to the office and gets the manager.
He doesn't even fully walk about if his office, has head poking out of door, first thing he says is "we don't open until 8a". I proceed to tell him I'm on my way to work I have a bag full of smelly rotten fish that I cannot wait with me to work, he says " well we don't open until 8a, I can't help you until then" and closes the door.
How on earth can a manager NOT help a customer regardless of time!? Both employees were completely rude. I spend over $400 a week there, completely unacceptable!
I do shopping for instacart, & the Krogers in the sevier county area are awful when it comes to service, as I shop a lot more than the average person. If I have a question, its hard to find someone, & when I do, theyre not nice, most act upset that I've stopped them, & dont even bother to stop & hear my question, but give me a vague answer, as they continue walking by me. Im not looking for the excellent level of service you get at publix, but I'd appreciate even a three, on a scale of ten in the attitude department. Im not knocking everyone, because I have had occasions where the people working were very friendly & helpful, but those seem to be rare occasions, & seeing as how I shop, 7 days a week, I'm qualified to make this statement. Im very disappointed, & it makes me want to avoid Kroger.
Visited the Kroger store at 501 Lone Oak Rd. In Paducah, Kentucky, today, 11/27/2022.
Bought 3 items, prices on shelf added up to $14.98, but when they scanned at the register, they were $19.27? That is over 30% above posted shelf prices, just on the 3 items I purchased, there are thousands of items in this store, if that is the norm, they are making a killing off of the consumer.
Does every retailer just change prices in the computer and not change the prices on the shelf, now?
They seemed to be adequately staffed, are they just fleecing the public, because they can, or what is the thinking behind all these issues, it seems to be sweeping the country.
Maybe all states need to start suing retailers, like Ohio is, maybe that would bring them back to earth?
I live in Brownstown Twp., Michigan. I am right by the Kroger on Gibraltar Rd. Every time I go into this store the shelves are bare and when they do restock them they want to do it during rush hours. When you arrive you have to get a basket from the corral. It seems like there are never any in the store. The bottle return is just plain horrible. I like shopping Kroger just not this store. I drive about 10 miles to a different one. Also every time something is on sale you can hardly get the items. I've been there on the day it starts and nothing. Corporate really really really needs to do something about this location.
Web site is difficult to use. Out of many items you want to order. Ignore customer preference and continue to substitute items. Do not tally order and give you an estimate of cost. Seem to want people to order in bulk. I have used them three times. I am done PS big bone in boneless chicken breast, be cafeful
Do not shop online at Krogers
Placed an online order at 8:59 am. Delivery frame was 8:59 to 1pm. Received 2 text messages that the delivery time was pushed back. Last one suppose to be between 3-3:30. No delivery by 7:15pm. I cancelled order and they charged my card $92.35. Disgrace at this time when people are going through tough times.
I had just been inside and spent $109 in the grocery store and stopped out for gas and that lady in the gas station part was just as rude as anybody could be. All I did was hand her $20 and I told her the pump number and that was it. I was waiting for the little drawer to open up and she told me in no uncertain terms, to put my money in the drawer now. I couldn't believe it. We are in the state of Michigan and there are a lot of people who would be awfully happy to have her job. If she doesn't like her job, she needs to leave so somebody else who needs a job could have hers. There is no reason to treat people that way.
Kroger's online costumer service does not resolve issues. Online coupons not applying to carts, no responses for any issues whatsoever. I still have a two year "case" open for swapped prescriptions. I honestly have no idea how they're still standing.
Instead of paying some one to watch for ttheft, pay a cashier to scan the items, had an aweful experience. Went to Publix instead and my grocery's were cheaper, they have friendly cashiers… I won't be back, if I don't have to be, that's for sure.
For the Cinco East Kroger at ******* Westheimer Pkwy Katy. First, ALWAYS check your receipt for accuracy at this place, have found errors after leaving on several occasions. When the Texas lottery machine malfunctioned in their store, customer service said "I do not know about that machine." Crickets after that. Definitely a not my problem kind of vibe. When I then asked if there was a number I could call, the woman walked to the machine and pointed to a phone number on it. No good luck. No sorry. Just the feeling of not my job so not my problem.
If I could give 0 stars I would. After hearing how they are treating their unvaccinated employees I will NEVER spend another cent at Kroger and will use the platform I have on social media to boycott all Kroger stores. After reading these reviews, your customer service is horrendous. Your customers are NOT satisfied at all. Considering how you treat your employees Im not surprised your rating is so low
Today by mistake I had put bottles of Multi Vitamin and I requested Miss Brianna misbehaved that our policy is not to return the medicine. She doesn't know how to talk to a senior citizens. It was within one minute I wanted to return the medicine. When I went to PR counter she came that I can return the medicine because of my wife. I have shopped at the Rolla Kroger for the past 50 plus years. Ever since they stopped the deli and changed different mgt the store has taken a downward spiral. After all these years I have to stop buying most of my produce from Kroger because of stale and bad produce.
When I tried to use my Kroger card without the card and enter my phone number they told me that i wasn't the one with that card. Buy I was I have had the phone number for 40 years and I registered the phone number and used it with Kroger for years. But now that someone has stolen my Kroger identity, Kroger says they get to keep it without looking into it at all. It's supporting theft is what it's doing!
I recently moved to Batesville, IN and love the local Kroger. The employees I have been in direct contact with have been friendly and helpful. Several department managers have offered to order products I was accustomed to finding in my former city. I am very happy with this store!
I want to talk about my experience today at Kroger, which has always been good. But today, I was racially profiled. The teller was rude, and she made me cry at the register. Because she was yelling at me and talking down to me embarrassed me in front of the customer. Due to my WIC vouchers, she did not follow my order; I had all my groceries set up with WIC vouchers next to them; she just was not cooperative. She asked me for cash that I did not have if she had just followed my setup, and I would not have been charged. A manager had to take over while she stood aside, making rude comments, telling me to be quiet, and she's old enough to be my grandmother, etc. I am so sad about what happened emotionally. She hurt my feelings; she does not know what people go through daily, so she should be careful how she talks to her customers. I will never come to that store again after my experience. I tried 4 times because I got a billing error for my card and was told you guys couldn't process my speedway egift card. But you guys charged me and now I'm down $80 and didn't receive a card I only want one $20 speedway card and instead I got no card and lost $80 to you guys that money needs to be refunded immediately.
I found a mustard on their shelf about 6 mo ago. Did not see it on the shelf the other night when I went to replace it. No one was at management area. So first checked Google today that said Kroger had it. I was not sure if the store I go to even carrie's it so I attempted to call since the website did not provide a zip or brand to check myself. Could not find this on the z kroger site.? L So I called the store and after waiting someone picked up and stated they were busy and did not have the time to do that? This store is soooo different from the Kroger on Rangeline in Carmel. Neighborhood app and Kroger's own website cites a major concern is Kroger staff's terrible customer service. Kroger seems to be failing just about every area.? Eish someone else would run it.
It seems like in the wake of our situation, things are spiraling out of control slowly. My 72 year old mother was humiliated at krogers today by the customer service lady. She was over charged, and complained. The customer service lady fixed it, and then told my mother not to come back. She's been shopping at that store for ten years. She feels like it's because shes korean. She doesn't want to go back now because of the incident. Sad.

Answer: I tried for 2 hours to get in touch with a human. Chat agent, Yelhen let me sit there and then went AWOL. Called every 800 number I could find...impossible to get past the bots. I called the local store in Livonia,,MI - phone rings, then you get music, phone rings then get music, I was in that loop for 15 minutes. The only way to get ahold of a human is to go to a store, they can't blow you off then. Do not ever start me their over priced products.
