I ordered this iPhone xs max described as USED AS DEMO, EXCELLENT CONDITION on 9th April 2020
When I got the phone on 23rd April, despite the fact that they delayed the dispatch by 10 days. (advertised as dispatch within 2-4 business days, BS)
The condition is simply unacceptable. It can be clearly seen on the screen that it is full of scratches, with a huge dent and a deep cut that are blocking the visibility.

And as per the time of 02/05/2020, there is still no place on the website I can report a product issue. Screenshot attached with a timestamp.
I managed to email Kogan to report this as a delivery issue on 23rd April. 10 days have passed, more than 20 emails are exchanged, I still got no instructions or address from the seller on how to return this faulty item. No agreement has been given on how they would like to resolve this issue for me. Quote from the last email I received:

"We will inform him (the case manager who does nothing at all) about your e-mail and he will get back to follow up this case again with you as soon as he is in, either in Mon or Tue.

Please kindly wait for him."

When I raised the dispute with Kogan Customer Care team, all I got is the same response:
"Please continue to communicate with them regarding this return.
If you continue to experience difficulty resolving your request, please notify us immediately with a response to this email and we will investigate further."

100% useless.

Stay away from Kogan. Don't buy anything from them, because when issue raises, there is nowhere you can get any customer service from KOGAN.

My worst experience, ever.

These Guys Are Dodgy

These guys are really dodgy. Check out multiple articles online like this one to show they are notorious for ripping people off - https://www.choice.com.au/shopping/consumer-rights-and-advice/your-rights/articles/kogan-returns-and-refunds-issues I paid 300 for a garming watch nearly a month ago. I complained umpteen times to say it wasn't received and they just gave the usual run around and blamed Aus Post. They then stated they had called the product back and refused to issue a refund until it comes back. Never offered an explanation as to what had happened. I could have bought this item weeks ago and there shipping promises are complete lies. I have no idea how they have been allowed to continue in Australia.

DONT BOTHER!

I purchased an iPhone from Kogan weeks ago. This iPhone said in stock and would be shipped with in 1-2 days. I went for this particular iPhone over others as some of the others said pre order and I needed it as soon as possible.
2 weeks went buy with no communication after I had reached out 8/9 times trying to ask for help and what was happening. I even asked for a refund and no one got back to me.
I understand that it's a tough time with covid 19 happening and that things take longer but I was more than happy to wait for the shipping time frame but the iphone was never shipped.
I am still waiting for it to be shipped they have just not bothered to let me know what's happening or keep me in the loop.
I'm so disappointed and won't be shopping with Kogan again.

I bought a pair of shoes from Kogan through eBay. When they arrived they were a different colour to what I ordered, so I asked for a refund. It took a painful amount of time to get help from them and when I did they were very vague and unhelpful with statements like 'we are looking into it' and 'please show us pictures of the incorrect colour' (even though they had already realised their mistake and changed the eBay ad to show the correct colour). Luckily I was able to get eBay to step in after 3 weeks and organise a refund. BE CAREFUL.

We purchased an exercise bike which had an original pick date of the 14th, which became a despatch date of the 21st. On the 23rd they sent us an email to say there was no stock and they would try and fill the order in 2 months. Kogan is not trust worthy.

Customer Support is horrendous. Kogan still owe me $$$ on an item that was never delivered and acknowledged as lost by there delivery partner. Cannot contact them and have had to make a complaint to the Consumer body in WA.

This was the 2nd time I have used Kogan and I had similar issues the first time. Gave them there 2nd chance. There will not be a 3rd.

I make 2 purchases, and suddenly that gives Kogan the authority to spam my inbox multiple times daily with crappy deals. So then to STOP the emails, I have to log onto my account. But I tried to re-set my password, and the generic email you get from Kogan doesn't have any link or ability to reset the password. Uuummmm seriously?
And their CONTACT US form gives drop down menu options that don't relate to query. Whatever happened to a "OTHER ENQUIRY" option?

I bought a TV for my elderly parents thinking I could save them quite a bit of money. A week and a half later, the remote broke. The middle button just wedged in and could not be used. No phone number so I emailed customer service only to be told that they had no spare remotes and I had to go a purchase a universal Logitech remote at my own expense. I was not happy so I emailed them back telling them to pay for it or I'll return the TV to them with the faulty remote in exchange for a new one. We waited for over 11 days so I emailed them again asking for a tracking number. Only this time they said they haven't sent it. I then asked to speak to a manager and at this stage I was ready to return the tv. There is only an on off button but no switches on the tv to adjust the channel or adjust volume, it is all done via a remote. A few hours later I get an email with a tracking number saying a universal remote will be delivered the next day. So when it came, you had to connect the remote to a computer and do all these things to get it to work. They need to state something on their products that it needs a tech savvy young person to operate it because my 80 year old parents don't have any computers so we had to go back and forth picking up laptops to try to help them programme a remote. The biggest lesson is that you pay for what you get and a few hundred dollars for proper customer service and support is worth more than anything. While I'm alive I will never use Kogan again

Not worth the stress

THE WORST customer service I've ever experienced. Products are also dodgy. I bought a "Grade A" quality refurbished iPhone 7 and it was sent to me with a critical battery error. I had Kogan pay for a local shop to replace it for a new one. Weeks later my phone would get stuck in a boot loop and freeze if it died. I caved and had it sent back for repairs. It's been 6 days and they told me it will take another 8 days just to access the problem. After that they'll update me. WANKERS. Never again.

Dodgy

Have a 55inch hd tv, has never worked properly, sent to a repairer and supposedly had the tv fixed. Had tv returned and was told the panel was replaced, the so called smart tv will connect to wifi, but will then constantly go into boot loops, shutting down and restarting until it stops restarting altogether and I have to reflash the software. Customer service is very bad, with contact phone, and constant same reply to emails. I will never use this company again, and Kogan you miss out on my updating many of our home appliances in preparation to retirement, we are replacing everything.

After purchasing a watch for my husband's birthday, I still don't have it. And that was more than 5 weeks ago! The website said I would receive the watch within 3 to 5 working days. The customer service is very bad and inefficient. I would not recommend purchasing anything from those crooks!

Kogan Are Crooks

The most disgusting retail experience of my life.
Two days after taking the money from my brand new, as yet unused, credit MasterCard and confirming the order ( and less than a day after I placed a similar order on my Debit MasterCard to the same address - also confirmed) they emailed me demanding photos of my Drivers Licence, Passport, Credit Card.
It sounded like an attempt at identity theft - especially as it was on the Monday of the Easter long weekend and as two previous orders confirmed to my email and street address were paid on my Debit MasterCard of the same name and my email address also has the same name.
I cancelled the second order, paid for with my cash on my Debit MasterCard and fought a long, running battle to have it returned.
I have an A+ credit rating and work in an essential industry.
When I refused their demands, they cancelled my order, after 20-30 emails, telling me I'd still be allowed' to reorder if I used PayPal.
Their contempt and arrogance was staggering,
These presents were birthday and retirement gifts for the brother and mother of my partner, who has Stage 4 breast cancer and for whom I'd bought a washing machine from Kogan in January - confirmed to my email and sent to the same street address.
Be aware that they have no phone line.
Once the money leaves your account, you're on your own and left to deal with bots and the original email address only.
Also be aware that the Kogan Review Page doesn't do zero stars, artificially giving them 20% higher marks.
It took me minutes to find a work colleague who had a Kogan horror story.
In the last week alone, their behaviour towards me has cost them over $10k in sales, as I encounter others considering buying from these crooks and relate my experience and that of others.
I look forward to a lifetime of spreading the Never Kogan' gospel.

Placed an order for a dishwasher on the 28th March and received it in the 7th April, unfortunately it arrived badly damaged, to Kogans customer services credit they quickly
Organised the paperwork for the damaged dishwasher to be picked up on the 14th April.
This is were there good service ends and gives way to totally frustration and disgusted with the lack of communication and support.
I haven't received the replacement dishwasher and I have made numerous attempts via email to get an update on what is going on, the help desk have not responded to any of my emails requesting either a date for the delivery of replacement or a refund of the $444.00 I paid for an item I have now been waiting 3 weeks for.
No point emailing the help desk, you just get an auto generated response saying the will get back to you shortly but they never do.
It's time to take this to fair trading and let them deal with this mob.
There is no way I'm going to let this go, I'm owed $444.00 and I will go all the way legally to get what is rightfully mine.
