This product the plug does not plug in correctly, if I can switch pin location it would work. And your web site says you won't accept electrical returns if box has been opened. But how am I supposed to know about the plug if I don't open the box?

The current lead time is listed at about 8-10 business days to receive the item. As for the material, I do believe that it is a synthetic leather material but I cant find a direct answer to that on Cobra's site so I am not 100% sure.
