Really terrible experience with these guys. I ordered lanterns in September, I was assured i would receive them before my brother's wedding in October. 2 days before the delivery date I received an email to say that the delivery has now been moved to December.
When they finally arrived in Dec the item's glass had shattered. Terrible packaging considering the item is made of glass, no bubble wrap - just a cardboard box within a cardboard box. I would recommend you use this website.

This place is the worst site ever, not only do they take your money and send your purchase elsewhere they do nothing to help get your order back or refund your money. They are the most useless, uncaring, theiving site that I ever dealt with. Do not buy from them ever. I bought 3 pieces of jewelry which looked great online though in reality they turned out to be made of cheap plastic and were very uncomfortable to wear. 1st I have to say that my experience with the Customer Care team was very positive. Their email correspondence was very courteous and professional and they acted quickly and did the right thing by the customer (me) to resolve an issue regarding damaged product. (5 stars to you... keep up the good work!) That being said, this was my first purchase from Joss & Main. Shipment arrived quickly but both cabinets (2 of same item) I received were severely damaged and just awful to look at inside and out (not at all the quality that appeared in the photo). The outer packaging was intact; no visible damage. Inside was tightly packed with cardboard and bubble wrap. So did the exporter pack them up that way (broken) thinking no one would notice? I see more good reviews than bad, but now I am very skeptical and will not order again... Internet shopping is the way of the world now, but it is such a gamble. I think for furniture I will stick to local stores. Many items do look lovely and unique so Good Luck to those who take a chance on a 'must have' item.
Answer: Everything that I have ordered so far has been excellent. One time, the item just didn't quite look great in my bedroom. I returned it no questions asked for a full credit. Nether even paid the postage. I could have returned it for a full refund but I would had to pay the postage. In any event, very flexible on returns, which, as I say, has only happened once.
