WARNING. Don't even bother attending Jiffy Lube In Brantford.

I Called Prior in the day to book an appointment for an Oil Change. Mentioned I will be Bringing My Own Oil compatible with my Range & My Own Oil Filter, & quoted me 30$…. Got there sat in the Boiling Hot seating area & I spoke with an employee, He stated the 5L of oil might not be Enough to fill up my Range Rover and he said that they would do a " Top-Up " Additional Fee of 6-8 Dollars I said that's Fine & HE also added that my total would be around 30-40 dollars which is what I Expected because I Brought ALL the Products they just needed to Install.

I Get ready for Checkout & he says total is 95.51 —- LOL I couldn't have made it EASIER FOR THEM. TO NOT rip me off.

& then when I Stated i was told by MULTIPLE employees over the phone & 15 minutes ago my total would be 40$ they basically ignored me

The entire service on my car took 15 min OH and they added another charge for " checking my tire pressure " LOL all they did was go through the controls on my Suv and Claimed that extra charge LOL what a Joke.

Last November, 2022, I took my 2018 Toyota for oil changed, they kept me waiting for 2hrs. Because they diagnosed my vehicle which I continously telling them that I don't need that service, just oil changed.
He went ahead without my permission and did it anyway, then told me what the cost is.
I refused, then he was mad and told me that they don't have the tools to changed the oil. Then he charged me anyway.
Not being the they changed parts on my truck, and replaced them with bad parts. They dismantled the timer that informed me when Services need to be done. 2 days later drove the truck and it started causing me problems. It's a new truck and didn't need major services, they tampered with the brakes. Why because I refused their recommendation false services. He told me after 2 hours waiting that they don't have the tools to change the oil in the truck. Tj8s is not a good service business. I will never recommend anyone fir their services. If I know or see anyone taking their cars I will stop them and let them know what they did to my new truck which I don't even drive that much and it's cost me highly with other service to fix what they messed in my truck. The worst part of it is that they charged me for service ls that they said they don't have the tools to work in my truck. Wow!

Scam artists

Just had a horrible experience at Jiffy Lube Sault ste Marie, I'll never go there again.

I went to get an oil change and I get the semisynthetic for $89.99, which with tax comes out to $101.68 or close to. So when the guy comes over with the bill and askes cash or debit, I think nothing of it and say debit, he brings the machine so I tap my car and away we go...with not much though. As I get further away I'm like, I should check that receipt, as I do I see a charge for $127. I look over my receipt and there is a charge for a "special filter" of $15. So of course I call and I quite and he says...oh, yes that's because we had to use a special oil filter for your make.of suv. And I say what a Hyundai? He states yes, all Hyundai and Kia's we are using OEM filters and have to recouped the cost to us. So, I say and this is something you guys should be asking and/or telling the customer before hand. I informed him that I've never been charged for that before at any of the oil change places and that I wanted my $15 and the taxes back. He says I'll have to talk to someone above me before I can do that. I'm like,no, you will give my money back...he goes and does whatever and comes back and says, ok sir we will refund you, but just be aware if you come back there will be that charge. Guess who's never going back to Jiffy lube...

Jiffy lube destroyed my car engine for oil change
I went to Jiffy Lube located at 1505 W Hebron Pkwy, Carrollton, Tx for oil change before 3 weeks which cost me to lost my car engine unexpectedly. The issue is here: Before 2 days when I was driving to my home, my car engine stopped at the main road suddenly, and same people tried to help me get out of the main road and I saw the car has no oil at all, then I made a quick call to the Jiffy lube if they can help me to tow to their place for maintenance, however since they heard there was no oil they were not cooperative to do so. So I was forced to call for tow and brought my car to a near by mechanic shop and they were so nice people and they investigate my car and finally observed the car engine is locked due to the fact that no oil available. I was not able to believe them when they told me the only option is to replace the car engine, and tow my car to another mechanic shop, but these also confirmed me the fact there was no oil and cause engine lock. Since both the mechanic shop advised me to speak with the Jiffy lube who made inadequate and improper oil change because according to them the car never leak the oil and The expected next oil change was not even reached half of it. I came to spoke the issue with the manager and he saw the car in person and confirmed it was true the car oil went off and there was no leak, but he did not went to take the responsibility from his words and action.

I need your help to get the solution.

I would leave 0 stars if I could. I had my oil changed 3 weeks ago at the Payson, UT. Location so I could go on a road trip. While getting it changed I asked them to top off all my fluids so I would be safe on the road. They told me everything was topped off to go. I checked my fluids this morning before leaving and my coolant was below half so it was not safe and my brake fluid was low below half as well. I went back to to the location to ask them to fix the issue and it was 4 teenagers there when I arrived. It was my grandmother and I. She is (78) I am (33F). Pulled us into the bay part way and had us open the hood and took 2 seconds to look at it and said nope it's fine. I explained I checked it while it was cool and it was indeed low and the brake fluid. The girl Jayden said it's $10 to top off my coolant and they wouldn't do my brake fluid. I explained I was just there and it would've been included that day and she said nope it's $10 today. My grandma said she won't be back due to the attitude Jayden and the other girl displayed and Jayden smirked and said "THAT'S FINE" my grandma replied kiss my *** as she was truly upset by Jayden and Jayden proceeded to blow my grandma a kiss and laugh at her and call her a B****. My grandma was the very first customer this location had and was treated horribly today. Her and I both couldn't believe it. The teenage girls were laughing and making remarks to us as we left. Asked for a manager and they said "nope bye". We left and made this post due to that horrible treatment!

The business reached out on here to "look concerned" the manager posted under my review here and on google with his email and asked me to reach out about my concerns as he was very troubled by my encounter. Funny thing is I've reached out multiple times via email, calls and messages and never got a response. Clearly it's all for show and it's no wonder why his establishment is ran the way it is and the teenagers working treat people like trash and swear at you.

Misled Again
July 3, 2022

I'm still trying to decide if the staff at this location, Route 30 in Absecon, NJ are this incompetent, or if it's intentional. You be the judge. Almost a year ago, my wife brought our Hyundai here for a an oil change. A few months later, we notice the bolts that hold two covers to the underside of the body, which have to be removed for the oil change, hadn't been replaced. More than 3/4 of them were missing. Eventually, the cover flapped around under the car, causing damage, which I reported to Jiffy Lube. The manager, Will, reacted in the exact manner I wanted. He offered to replace the damaged part, and ensured me if I brought the car back on days he was in, he would personally do the oil change each time to make sure it was done right.

If you take a moment to examine these pictures, taken from under my Hyundai after an oil change from this Jiffy Lube, ask yourself if this looks correct to you? Zip ties where push rivets should be, missing bolts, why not use some packaging twine?

Whenever you see a video of a car that limps into a real mechanic because of some careless action taken by the technician a quick lube location, think of this location. This is easily the most pathetic attempt I've seen at a person doing their job, let alone the manager. If Hyundai wanted the car zip tied together, they would have installed zip ties in the first place. Who could possibly think this is correct? They simply did the oil change, and my wife left with the illusion it had been done right.

If you're not mechanically inclined, If you're not willing to crawl under your vehicle to inspect the work that is done here, you're taking the chance your car will be the one that gets zip tied, or worse instead of being serviced properly.

We have a Honda and RAV. The Honda was on its 2nd oil change and the RAV its 1st. The mechanic changing the Honda oil said Whoever changed the oil last left the bolt loose. My wife said you did. Mechanic argued that JL (Jiffy lube) didnt do the last oil change because it isn't our oil filter. We had papers proving it. We determined it was the wrong filter because JL didnt change the filter on our previous visit. We got the car home and it left a 1ft pool of oil on the driveway. We also had the oil changed in the RAV and it was now leaking. We took the Honda back to JL and they said the oil pan gasket is bad. We took the Honda to our mechanic. $300 later our mechanic said JL had over tightened the drain bold and cracked the pan. I saw the crack and kept the pan. I went to corporate and let them know our story. The 1st time we got no response. I wrote a 2nd letter and threaten small claims. They finely responded with we have trained professionals although JL had no explanation as to the off brand oil filter and the cracked oil pan. The manager of our local JL in canyon country CA offered us $108 of free oil changes. We took the offer, we didnt want to hassle with small claims. After we use our coupons, we have no plan of ever returning to JL. The RAV was making noises when we turned the steering wheel. The steering fluid was empty. JL paperwork showed that all fluid levels were good. We are still looking into why it is now dripping oil.

Gave false info
July 14, 2023

Web sites, including yours, indicated a vehicle State Inspection could be completed at
The Liberty MO location. I drive 30 minutes. That's my problem. I get there and I'm
Informed that you haven't done state inspections for a considerable amount of time.
However, your manager recommends Valvoline, just done the road. I go, only to find out
Valvoline hasn't done state inspections for over three years! I call this particular
JiffyLube to inform that Valvoline hasn't done inspections for several years. Did the management
Apologize? Not really. I thought I was doing him a service by updating him. Oh no! I kept
Hearing "I'm sorry" but never, never, do I recall him thanking me. He kept on.
And on. And ON. Would not shut up about "I'm sorry". It got to be
Ridiculous. I hung up. I was tired of him. I eventually called back to apologize and
Let him know that I didn't recall him thanking me. Maybe he did. Maybe he didn't. But
I was particularly interested in the "thank you for letting me know". Not a
Broken record of "I'm sorry". I had to hang up on him again. No. The
Customer is not always right. But I sure don't recall hearing any sort to "thank
You for letting me know" when I specifically was listening for something along that
Line. And, I wouldn't think that removing the services provided to include state
Inspections would be that much of an issue, apparently several years down the road. No
Pun intended.
I have attempted numerous times (6/5,7/1, and 7/10) to try and file a complaint w/ Jiffy Lube and get some sort of response from them. Nope. Just "we will get back w/ in the 3-5 days". Or, "we will put a rush on this". Or, "we will expedite this". Today is 7/14 and nothing yet.
Considering that I have a muscle car that faithfully got oil changes from Jiffy Lube (like $100 changes), I think I will have to reconsider them. You think? Ha ha. They lost my business.

Unbelivable
July 8, 2023

I needed a oil chage today so I searched an oil change place that might be open today Saturday, I only had today to get it done I was leaving town again early on Monday for work out of town.
Jiffy Lube web site as well as the phone message stated that no appointment needed and it is first come first serve.
I went to the Spanish Fork Jiffy Lube and pulled in line right behind a F150 that had just pulled in to the only bay that was open. The manager came out directly and took my information and told me it would be a 45 minute wait and then 15 minutes for the service. I felt that was fair. Until after sitting in the waiting room for 1 hour and then to get up and look out to see where my truck was and they had moved it and placed two vehicles in front of my truck without an explanation. I consider myself a patient person, I decided to just walk out and leave.
I never leave feed back ever. But I was so mad when the workers inside the building treated me so badly as I was leaving I still can not belive it.
Any way I would not recomend going to this Jiffy Lube and will abviously never go back. I will wait until next weekend and take it to my regular mechanic.
I will also note that the manager was not to be found and there was four I repeat four workers to change the oil on one F150 pickup took a fullhour to do. Still is unbelivable.
I wish I had purchasded after a 1 hour promised wait I still was at least that much longer. Not Proof just my word.
