Jiffy Lube

My check oil light went off earlier in the day so I made it a point to go in to the closest jiffy lube to get it changed. I didn't know that I was using the wrong oil and I definitely didn't know how much it was damaging my car. Justin in the Boulder Colorado shop was fantastic. He explained what was going on and the easy ways to fix it. He offered me some coupons to make it more affordable since I didn't budget for this to happen. I ended up leaving with a great feeling knowing my car was in better shape and felt like I would make the trip to go back to this shop in particular again. Overall wonderful job!

I went to the location on Wyoming in Albuquerque, NM to get an oil change. They called me to tell me the oil pan plug hole threads were stripped and it would cost $149 to replace it. There was nothing wrong with it and my car didn't leak oil before I brought it in. They pushed my car out into the parking lot and left it there. I asked for my key and the oil plug back. I walked to the auto parts store two blocks away, bought 4 quarts of oil and an oil pan plug GASKET and borrowed a wrench. I put the gasket on the plug, screwed it in and tightened it down, poured in the oil and drove back to the auto parts store to return the wrench. Hasn't leaked a drop of oil since. Much cheaper to buy a two dollar gasket than replace the oil pan. Maybe they should hire adults who know what they're doing instead of high school kids.

I am a long time customer of Jiffy Lube and today I received the best service I have ever received since I've been a driver. I awaken early to be at Jiffy Lube when they opened at 8 am. There was no wait. James came out right away, greeted me politely, and serviced my vehicle quickly and with quality service. He brought to my attention some additional things I needed aside from my oil change. I really appreciated this. His level of professionalism and pleasant disposition was refreshing. James is definitely someone who you want representing your company. His customer service skills are impeccable. I will definitely ask for James in the future. I went to a jiffy lube in Whitman, Ma. They are the best. They tell you a price before they do anything, they show you your dirty air filter and then show you the brand new one before it goes in the car. The customer service from all of them are spot on!

I've been here 2 time first time was alright but the second time they did a bad job of rotating my tired and did my oil change. They don't know how to fill up tires and they didn't check if the oil plug was tightened, I was leaking oil all week and on Friday my lights went on bland burn all my oil from my car I want it to be looked at and put all the oil I wanted back my plug came out while driving made a big mess and want all my money back and get my new oil change at Toyota and they pay for the service

I used to work for Jiffy Lube I know I go they charge you for things that you don't need they'll tell you need it but you don't need it I will go to another place to handle business there's a racist company it's only two black people work in Friendswood Texas store now it's only one black person working Friendswood store that's racist they will fire you if I could get them zero Stars I would but I can't they want you to pick at least one star don't trust Jiffy Lube and they drink on the job alcohol beer

29 2022 visited jiffy lube 1600 Juan tabo I'm a long time customer. Everything as normal was shown an air filter they said was mine And I replaced it I think at least I paid for one. Also needed a top off on my antifreeze they said and I approved I now should have checked. 27 hours without driving my jeep it overheated. I went back to jiffy lube and they acknowledge that they did not check nor top off. My trust was broke. I have scheduled my dealers ship to check all the work jiffy lube said they did. Logan Y aka Yazzie was in the assigned dishonest employee and vi recently promoted to asst. Manager. Beware of store 1399 and all jiffy lube now you cannot trust them

Jiffy Lube in Boerne;
Waited to have a simple safety inspection.
They finished with truck, waited 20 more minutes, asked girl taking care of desk (only assumed; seemed like her job was cleaning windows on a red jeep behind her) She said she'd find out; next thing I knew, she'sat the jeep again.
Waited, then asked someone else - they didn't know what was going on either.
Finally, someone came up and told me they couldn't pass it because I have a broken lug nut.
Here's how that went:
"You mean a broken lug STUD?"
Fine. I'll go fix it and bring it back - give me my insurance card back
It's in your truck.
Well, no it wasn't
They lost it.
At this point I'm already furious at them for not letting me know a half hour ago when I saw them park the truck.
These people are incompetent idiots.

Had the JiffyLube on Sullivan change my boats oil. Replaced my full sizes Chevy small block oil filter with a tiny filter. When I started my boat it gushed out all around the filter. Drove the 75 miles home Sunday night showed up at 8:00 am hoping for a correct filter and maybe a couple quarts of oil and an apology, received allegations, was told to wait 20 minutes for someone to come in and they will have to order a special oil filter for this rare SMALL BLOCK CHEVY MOTOR! I $#*! you not! Probably the most common motor in the history of man kind takes a rare oil filter! I sent them a picture of both oil filters sitting next to each other and they just blocked me! Lookie at the pictures below! Well done jiffy Lube on Sullivan, we'll done

I initially went there to get them check what was going on with my car, which when I tried to start it; It will delay. They checked it and gave me a diagnosis what needed to be replaced so that the problem can be fixed, which I went along with. I reached to the store it was 8:37 am in the morning, they gave an invoice of $529, with the estimated time between 2 to 4 hours of wait... by 1:52 pm, they came back with an other diagnosis of other parts that needed to replace also, which I declined, and it was another charge of $1,404. When I left the store it was 4:00 pm so I spent almost 7 hours. By the next I couldn't drive the car, the problem has gotten worse, I called them... I even try contacting their so called customer service, nothing works. I can't reach to no one that can take this matter into consideration... I just spent money that I didn't get any service for.

Highly professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Excellent quick service... very thorough. SERIOUS PROBLEM THOUGH! I lived here over 2 years and have passed Jiffy Lube min of 200 times... never saw it. Bushes on right heading north block bldg and sign and20 ft tall bushes heading south block site 100%.
I am retired regional mgr... 1st thing is let the Sandy Spring customer (higher income) KNOW WHERE THIS NEW BUILDING IS! I googled question oil change and it was 300 yards away. This is the Regional's fault to improve signage and exposure. I will continue to use as long as I live here... too bad noone knows about this location 50,000 population

Came to change the oil in kent, I was asked to get into the car and wait. I brought the filter and oil with me. After the "oil change" a friendly employee smiled and communicated politely, I gave a tip. A week later I decided to check the oil level, it turned out to be black and the level is low. I went to my friends to change on my own. It turned out that the oil in this service was not changed for me and the filter too. They stole the oil, the filter and harmed the car, I drove with bad oil for another week. In the end I was deceived for $ 150, and it's good that the motor did not die. Never, never change the oil in jiffylub ever! If you love your car.

Went to Jiffy Lube #3964 in Muskego, WI 2/29/24 for an oil change and emissions test. Awesome service, very friendly knowledgeable. I will be taking my truck there from now on.

I go to the Jiffy Lube on 10th in Kennewick, WA - such. Great. Service! The personnel are always friendly, efficient, and FAST! I love going here - just went tonite and Sal (pretty sure his name) deserves an A+++ - suggestion while the customer waits? Perhaps a conveyor belt slowly going by my window with a selection of sodas, snacks, magazines? (haha) This business is just well-run and impressive! Go JL!

I will preface this by saying 90% of the time I change the oil myself in all 3 of our vehicles because I simply don't trust technicians.
Last summer I needed it done before a long trip and my son-in-law took it to Jiffy Lube as a favor to me during his lunch break.
Months later when it needed changing again I found the drain plug was rounded to the point I could not get a wrench on to get it off.
I had to take it to my regular mechanic who has a lift. He found not only was the plug rounded but it was also cross threaded. He needed a pipe on the handle of his wrench to get it off.
Even worse it was tightened by Jiffy Lube so much the oil pan itself was bent upward.
I had to have the oil pan replaced at my cost!
A fifth grader can change oil after a lesson or two!

I am livid having to pay for this extra work plus removing the factory installed original oil pan part.
The number one rule changing oil is to ALWAYS put the drain plug in hand tight until you can't turn it anymore, then snug it up with a non-pneumatic wrench.

Today's cars cost big bucks and Jiffy Lube owes me the repair costs!
Don't trust this company to complete what should be a simple task!
I feel bad because my son in-law was doing me a favor and it turned out disastrous!

I have no receipt for the oil change just their window sticker and the receipt from my unexpected repair bill.
I want to rate JIFFY LUBE ZERO STARS but site jabber doesn't allow it!

I went to the Jiffy Lube in Rio Rancho, nm on state hwy 528 to get my Headlights Restored it was the best
Customer care as far as that service I had ever received. The associates just couldn't help you enough and the waiting time was less then 1hr. And they were very busy and the price was great. I had called several
Other places and time waiting was unreal and price was nuts. I would like to than Patrick, Ricardo in upper bay for the extra car I might mention Patrick also took the time to wash my much need windshield.

If I could give zero stars I would.

Every single time I have North Ogden Jiffy Lube change my oil they have NEVER reinstalled my splash guard on my Chrysler 300 with all the screws, whereas there are only 4 screws. Then I have to order new fasteners that are $10.00 a piece, jack my car up and install the screws myself.

One time they just left the splash guard hanging down and it ripped off my car on the first bump in the road, I ordered a new splash guard and installed it.

Each time I go back I bring this complaint to their attention. They assure me that they will reinstall my splash guard with all the screws, yet they NEVER do.

The gimmick is in the very thing they tout, the almighty oil change. It's the simplest thing for a mechanic to do. Just unplug from the bottom, drain the oil, unscrew and replace the oil filter and add fresh oil from the top of the engine. That's it! The almighty oil change. Really simple. They charge upwards of $69+++ for this sh_T. They upsell you and add-ons and send you nonsensical coupons etc, etc. And since many of these Jiffy Lube stores are franchises and individually own. Many of them don't or won't honor the coupons as what happened to me on 2 different occasions. So I am DONE with them.

I paid him and as i pulled out the manager said "you dont need to come back here" I called him a jerk and he called me a prick.
