Selling on eBay as Martin's Auto Parts. I received a defective brake rotor that never should have been sent out. Company refused to refund what I paid.
Bought some parts on eBay, confirmed them with the seller (JC Whitney) Parts catalog that they would be correct and right fitment. Received them and they are wrong, double checked parts manufacture website and sure enough JC Whitney's catalog is wrong! Not only would they not return the brand new parts that have never been installed, much less barely out of the box, they wont admit they have a cataloging issue! Lost any of my business in the future and I repair a lot of vehicles and order a lot of parts online!

Returned a dodge latch for a tailgate on ram. They received it on July 7 2023. Here it is August 08 2023. They stated they got it and take 7 days to refund. Then call every week then last few tines every couple days. They say give us 1 to 2 more days for a 59.92 refund keep saying same thing. What a crap company

The part is a no show and you will not answer your phone no matter how long I wait. No stop to the advertising though. Hate to see it cost you thousands in lawsuits over a 17.55 order. But it will serve you right.
I ordered a soft top for an 02 corvette and they sent me the wrong one. Trying to get a hold of them takes an act of Congress very poor customer service! I just want the item I ordered. Now I'm stuck with something I can't use! This company is useless NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!
I had a package delivered from you/FEDEX that should have had 6 parts in it. The box was tore all to hell.
There were only 2 parts in the box, (1) the upper control arm, it was tore out of its plastic bag and (2) a single sway bar linkage that was not in its box. I took pictures of the box sitting on my porch before I touched it.
I was not home when the package was delivered. I did not sign for it, nor would have I, if I were home.
Because you have NO customer service, No phone to talk with a customer, No live Chat and do not return e-mails. I am left trying to guess as to what to do. FEDEX was absolutely useless in trying to help.
You have my money!

I ordered two sets of exterior replacement handles for my truck, 1 piece showed up on its own from Vegas and 2 more from the JCW warehouse. Everytime I call I get a recording that says it's after hours. According to their posted hours of operation I am calling 2hours prior to closing. I have sent 3 emails and not a single response. I would not recommend purchasing anything from this relic operation.
Ordered front and rear floor mats, plain black rubber. 4 hour search to find a phone number to call. 18 tries to dial and connect with anyone. Told order received, and status "Processing" for the past 4 days. Real story. Floor mats made to order and I may see them in 3 weeks. I could walk across the street to my local auto parts store and get them but have had good experience with JC Whitney in the past... never again!
I am a female who does her own mechanical work on her vehicle. I came across Jc Whitney. They had everything I needed and for at least 20 to 60 bucks cheaper then local auto part stores. All products were correct shipped on time. Very very happy.
I ordered a specific part last week and even discussed with a Company Rep by phone while I was online ordering to make sure I had the correct part I needed. It took couple of days to ship even tho the Rep assured me she was going to expedite and get it sent out within 24 hours. That didn't happen and when the delivery was made it was one part instead of my order which included 2 pieces. I've tried calling today and either get placed on hold for way too long or when I contact the extension from the Rep given at order, she answers and says Hello. When I start telling her who I am and that I got the wrong part, all of a sudden she says Hello, Hello Hello and then hangs up. I tried to report return needed online and information says I should have had a return packing slip in the order when received but there was nothing. Since my issue yesterday I have heard from others that they quit ordering from this company for the same - send wrong part issues. I hope someone will return or respond to my messages soon but in the mean time I guess I will try to stop payment on my credit card if they don't call me back.
Ordered a sway bar kit from the web site and I received a crushed box with a rip in the box with tape over it with nothing inside, there is no number to call no type of contact with the company I needed my parts ASAP but for me ordering from Jcwhitney was a mistake, I have never experienced this Before.
Don't order form this place, just go to Amazon. Send orders missing parts, can't call anybody, can't use live chat, never send shipping labels for returns. If you get wrong or missing parts you will just have to throw them away, forget about getting your money back and buy them some where else.

I contacted telephone sales and the person who handled my order was very disirganized. I had to go to their website and look up the part number for him. When I would try to give him information he would talk over me and then make me repeat it. They also will not take credit card info over the phone but instead give you a reference number and have you go back to their website, enter the order number, address and credit card info. This was a very odd encounter, and I will probably not be buying anything from them again in the future.
Over the last 2 years I have been trying to get an on line account with JC Whitney. I loved this company when it was just an order book. Trying to set up an account with them, is like trying to stick butter up a Wildcats $#*!, using a hot poker. Every single step has to be done and redone 4 and 5 times. Slow as hell. I have no idea if the site is any good, can't get logged into damn thing. Jc whitney, spend more than $75 setting up your online service.
I ordered a replacement part for a mustang and it fit perfectly all the bolt holes lined up perfectly and no adjustments or drilling was needed! I expected issues because of the reviews but figured it was so much cheaper I would figure it out but there was nothing wrong anywhere! Matches perfectly to the other side of the car!
I used to use this company a LOT in the 80's and 90's for parts I couldn't find or get in parts stores. Back when you filled out a form, sent it in. Along with a check for the amount. And got your stuff in 2-3 weeks.
Well, with the evolvement of e-commerce, they grew. And adapted. For the worse. 2 friends of mine that still use them, say it takes 2-3 months to get what you order. Unless you pay through the a_s for next day shipping. After getting nowhere with one site, I decided to use them again. They never have let me down in the past. So, I found the 4 parts I needed. Paid for them. Then it took 2 months for them to ship, and finally when they did, it took another month to try and find where they went. When cust. Service said the did not know where they were, I said sc__w it and wanted my money back. Which has taken another month. Because they said the had to "find" where they were to cancel the order. Go figure...
I was buy a part catalytic converter they gave me wrong one and they refuse to get it back they want me to pay the shipping i don't have to pay that because that they're problem give me a bad one, Bad place to buy parts bad bad bad bad
