I purchased a Scorpion EXO-900 helmet. I received it the next day (very impressed). I opened the very worn box, and inside was a used helmet. All of the tags had been removed and were not in the box. The face shield protector plastic was off the face shield and not in the box. There was a small gouge in the neck padding. The face shield and sun visor had finger prints all over them. I tried the helmet on and tried to flip the sun visor down, only to experience resistance and very tight lowering. Then I noticed that the face shield was dark smoke in color. I had previously confirmed with Scorpion that all helmets come with a light smoke sun visor. Even with all of these indications that the helmet was not new, I had an extremely difficult time getting my money back for the helmet. They would not refund because they told me the helmet was not new. No joke. It took over an hour and one half at the store in Charlotte to get an agreement to refund my credit card, only to find out that they could not do that in house. They said they were not set up for retail at the store, and would have to send in the credit card return later.
I felt sorry for the young man who was trying to help me because he had no authority to do anything, and the people making the decisions would not come and talk to me.
I eventually got the refund. However, they only wanted to give me a store credit. I would not agree to a store credit, because I have no intention of ever purchasing from these unscrupulous folks again. Very poor customer service.
Upon my telling them the helmet was not new, they could have said, "Oh, we are sorry." They could have immediately issued a refund. If they had taken those two steps, they could have potentially saved two future customers, but they were unwilling. Consequently, we found out what they are really like.
I would never, never, never purchase from them again!

We did not wait for you to contact us about this we have contacted you via phone, email and electronic cases. Our office is open Mon-Fri 9am-5pm EST. To cover our office during the non operating hours we have an agent who takes emails and cases during the non working hours. This provides coverage 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
