If irs mailed your check, why do it take 3 to 4 weeks to get it? First of all get my refund says I qualify with last 4 numbers of debit card but did have a date, now I got a date stating it was mailed. When is it coming?

The IRS has set the bar to an all time low with customer service. I mailed my ammended 1040X tax return priority mail next day delivery over 6 weeks ago. It's not even showing up in their system. You can never get a "Live " agent. I've sent at least 21 emails over 3 weeks and received no response at all. Nothing, nada, zilch! Where's the accountability? IRS, the worst customer service ever!
The IRS has become intolerable! Blaming the Covid over and over for their lack of intelligence. I submitted two past year tax returns (almost going on a year) with all the same info and the IRS says they need deep further review. Hello this is why they are behind. Pointless reviews and stalling up the system. Get with the program people its time to start voting for the closure of the IRS system. The people deserve ALL their money!
No stars if I could! 4 months and still no return. After being on hold today for 45 minutes, a lady with ID number *******565, couldn't even hear her name she said it so fast. I wonder why? Hung up on me! Didn't even give me a chance to speak. Put me right through to an automated thing again and it hung up on me. These people should all be fired and get some in there that actually WORK. Horrible place to get ahold of. They help you with NOTHING.
None of the phone numbers is able to talk to a real person. After entering all of the information needed in the effort to talk, what I got is "we are experiencing extremely high call volumes, please call us back another day."
I tried to created an federal tax id profile, it took me 1 hr to fill up stuff and upload documents, then wait for two hours to get the video call. Then I ended up with poor costumer service unprofessional and moreover inefficient. I was asked questions such as "where you taxes are going? Which organization profit those taxes? Which website did you use? This website clearly needs more personal orientation and training, otherwise it will stay as a mediocre 1 star website.
I just spoke with 2 representatives and neither one could help me understand why I am paying my moneies owed to federal returns but the owed balance are not being updated. From Nov 26 to March 9th I have paid 2405. 90 and an offset tax return of 1392. 00 and all of my balances are the same. Where is my money? Can the Federal IRS tell me where the hell my is money going? I'm frustrated with your horrible website because nothing is updated there either. You call and wait on hold for 60 minutes to get absolutely no resolution. And the last representative started raising her voice like she was frustrated from telling me absolutely nothing and I asked her to stop hollering and she hung up. If you can't stand a stressful position dont take the job AND if you need more training let your manager know immediately!
I have been trying to register and is say the information does not match. Its been blocking my account for 2 days now. I did it on the cell phone same info it accepted, but was not able to finish and now same thing and do not know why.
I call the appointment line, wait 30 minutes to get a real person, & they proceed to tell me they have to transfer me to the appointment line, which is what I called & dialed "1" for. Twenty minutes later, someone else answers, and she too, can't set an appointment for me, & wanted to transfer me again! I have prepared taxes for 21 years, and never once, have I had a good thing to say about the IRS customer service. But, they are government workers, who will still get paid doing a terrible job.

I have been trying to pay my tax returns and it has been nothing but a run-around. Representatives answer no calls whatsoever and if you try to make a payment it redirects you. Not only do they take our money but our time as well. Horrible
Today I spoke to an IRS agent. Unfortunately I had to wait over an hour to reach someone. However the agent I spoke with was truly wonderful. Her name is Mrs Hollingsworth. I called from Washington state and had questions regarding my sons account. Long story short my son and I were eventually on the line. This employee was working past her shift to help us. She was professional but at the same time had a good sense of humor. She provided us with the necessary information to get my sons account up to date. She truly is a gem and the IRS is lucky to have her as an employee.
This is some straight up BS! I filed my damn taxes wayyyy longer than 3 weeks ago and still nothing. No updates on the website no updates on the app. It's never taken this long. COVID ain't an excuse because COVID didn't stop it from last year. If I owed you money you'd be on my doorstep the next day without a mask on. Give me my damn refund back!
I don't like the way they put you through automated systems and when u get through they cant help u figure out your trace on payment never recieved ******* I'd was not so helpful and told me 6 weeks it's been 3 doesnt take long to figure out where my payment was if was mailed some where I no longer live and never received any only 1 went to a child payment other 2 or 3 never got or heard anything about guess u have go to the place to get proper answers u need

Over 2 years now and no one has any idea why my husband's tax refund has never been able to be solve. We have called numerous times and their time on hold can be up to 2 hours and when someone finally answers they are rude and very unprofessional. This representative told us she was whom started our case umm no wonder why it's taking two years. This representative told my husband that he had no right to claim my kids because they aren't his and she claims to know that we aren't married even though we send them our certificate but okay, she then said that our kids weren't born here which they are, This representative also said she had to hang the phone because she was late to get home and eat! My questions is, where are they getting this people from? No one seems to know what they are doing or why, they can close you're case without knowing why but they will. They have poor customer service!
I filed for my Recovery Rebate Credit and they adjusted it to 0. They had me call if I disagreed but refused to take my call. They said they didn't have anybody in the office. Due to this I will be filing my future taxes under 26 CFR 301.7701-6(a) or not at all due to their inconvenience

If I could give a negative star I would they don't deserve and stars at all- they don't mind taking your money, but when it comes to them giving you your money It's where the problem lies. The government acts like it's broke but yet they collect tax from the workers constantly. I have not been sent my 2nd stimulus check and I have 3 kids to raise behind on bills. Where is the help here and needless to say I have not received my income tax from 2019. I'm about overly dissatisfied with the system- The Government is not for the people anymore- was it ever?
