I waited on hold for 36 minutes to have the hold music stop and <click>... disconnected. I found the local office's number for assistance, and their message states they only provide assistance by appointment and we must look up the services they provide before calling. My need is very simple and can be dealt with quickly - and over the phone only (let's get with the times website). Now I need to call again and hope to not be disconnected again. Customer service in the private sector is the opposite of that in the public sector. Amazon should be their target, but they're at the complete opposite end of the spectrum from one another with regards to customer service and efficiency..
