Their platform is often delayed and you think you have won, only to find out that you have not. Try to use an auction that does not go through them. If you want to find out what an item sold for in the past, they charge you and continually make money in the future from your sale but refuse to give you any info even though they may have made thousands from you. I am tell my auctioneers that I do not want my sale price to be given to them in future
I ordered a ring, an opal and some pearls. The pearls are ok fresh water, no where near the estimate and the ring and opal were junk. I threw the opal away and gave the ring to a little girl for dress ups. Now I want to unsubscribe and can't no matter what. I was so stupid to get sucked in by these people. I would like to know how to get out and close my account. There is no provision for closing your account. I have no tried phoning yet but frankly I don't want them to have my phone number.
If I purchase something on invaluable which was shipped to the wrong address. When I try to contact the company I was blocked by the company they block my phone number which is immature and ridiculous. When I contacted invaluable they said they couldn't help. The name of the company is Saco auctions however they are using the name Designer Homes Florida it's a company that doesn't exist. Shady? They don't care as long as they get there cut of the profits.
Levy's Auction Palm Beach misleads clients relating to there shipping, they state they will organize shipping for buyers in-house but when you buy the item you want and email Levy's Auction for a shipping Quote, they pass you on to a local shipper, BAD BAD BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE because now they have your money and your at there mercy, they have your item and they have your money, now you have to get your own shipping quotes and run around, LEVY'S GETS NO STAR'S FROM ME, and further to my disappointment is that Invaluable's website review section associated to the Auctioneer does not allow you to leave feedback about the auction Company. BAD BAD BAD
I hope you are not planning to do business with this scam artist. I wanted to leave a phone bid, and was told that I would have to call the company. The company does not answer their phone nor do they return calls. I called Invaluable and they told me they have no information on the company which tells me that that this is a scam.
I Won a bid that was not honored. Called the parent company, Invaluable, about their member''s unwillingness to honor my winning bid. The member was Government Auction, who said the item was not available. I received no support at all from Invaluable after two calls to management.
I felt sometimes discriminated and frustrated I could not participate in some of the Auctions. So I closed my account. Annoyed,
I dont know whether it is a fraud or not, or they work closely with auction house to con the monies from someone else. I won a bid on one of the auction and settled the amount immeidately, but more than 3 weeks I have not heard or received my purchase. Chase both the auction house and website, and they did not have any decency to reply what happened. Tried to chase them for the refund, and fingers cross to see if I see my monies back
I bought a painting from a site linked to Invaluable. The painting was in a really poor state and yet there was no mention in the description about it having damage. When I tried to get a refund I was told by the auction house that I should view before I bid. Which means that as an online auction they are telling me that I shouldn't have bid as an online customer. They were very disrespectful in their method of dealing with me. Don't bid with any auction house linked to Invaluable unless you have seen the item with your own eyes.
This site thinks that because you agree to the T&C's you lock yourself into a purchase even after you discover the item is a fake. And what's worse, they offer a 'certificate' of value and authenticity which wasn't worth the paper it's printed on.
Luckily I didn't pay and now the threats are coming full force.
I'd rather take my chances with the courts than be suckered into a purchase of a fake.
When confronted, instead of dealing with the issue that they offered an art piece which was not by the artist they advertise it as, they focus on me accepting the T&C's and accuse me of being a 'fraudulent buyer'!
It's a joke.
Invaluables does not guarantee any transactions, there is no buyer or even seller protection. They charge the auction house a selling premium and take the money and run. They don't provide feedback of the auction house. They won't deal with the auction in the event of a complaint. If you find something you like on their website, skip it and deal with the auction house directly. It will be cheaper for you and you'll get the same protection. If the auction house asks that you pay via paypal then don't. They are avoiding the buyer protection provided by visa and mastercard and forcing you to pay any transaction fees.
Bought art from Phoenix Auction Ithica NY in early June '19 under the Invaluable umbrella. Not delivered and no contact. Called. Told me they were just doing someone a favor and din't have the piece and couldn't get it. Not clear to be that the art even existed. Called several more times before contacting Emily at Invaluable. Said she would assist in making it good, but totally disappeared. Took no responsibility. Said she'd call back last week. Didn't. Two months have gone by and I feel scammed. Take your chances folks.
I made a puchase on invaluable. The art piece delivered was damaged. They told me to courier it back to them and they will refund me both the cost I paid for the artpiece and the return courier. After I did all that, they never replied any of my emails despite multiple follow ups. So unprofessional and almost a scam. Don't buy on this website. Will never recommend it.
I keep getting emails from Invaluable.com and I keep trying to unsubscribe. How do you unsubscribe from invaluable.com. The link doesn't work and if you try sending them an email to their customer care email account *******@invaluable.com it bounces. Not a nice organisation at all. Avoid at all costs
Invaluable Auction supported Old Johannesburg Warehouse Auction on-line... but shipping claims made prior to the auction were flat-out false... you can bid, and you can win, but you cannot ship the item home after, and this was already known to Invaluable. The Auction house countered (a month after the auction was completed) by offering to send a five-pound parcel - 14 inches by six inches by two inches - via Stuttaford's transport for $1,300 US from Johannesburg to North America. Courier companies and the postal service in South Africa are, in fact, operated by organized crime. Invaluable insists that it is not responsible for the "written prior mis-representation" offered by the auction company it endorses.

When you buy through Invaluable Aucrions you have to pay 5% extra fee. It is impossible to find that information on their site. The moment you bid you get a small pop up saying you have to pay this fee. Whether you have to pay 5% of the hammer price or the total costs is not clear either. If you want to ask Invaluable about this you can only talk to a chat bot which does not understand your question. You cannot contact the company at all.
This is sneaky business. Be transparant!
Mention any fees CLEARLY on your site, do not surprise customers like this. If you are a decent company it should be possible to reach you for further questions.
I bought a diamond ring with a certification, that it was real diamond and 18k gold.
Apprazel was fake and ring not worth 50 $, l payed 1250 us.
I am very disappointed, and will never use lnvaluble auctions again.
I was under the impression the were one of the top auction houses.

We are an auction house, we have used the Invaluable Auction platform site to sell our auction items on two occasions. We collect all the proceeds from the auction sale and ship the items. Invaluable provides the platform and a huge number of bidders to our auction but Invaluable is in no way responsible for what is sold, that it is shipped or guaranteed to be authentic, that is the auction company selling and describing their items and collecting the money responsibility. Perhaps Invaluables failure, if any, is that auction companies using their platform are not vetted properly.
I bought a fake bag from a auction house on the Invaluable platform. After having it authenticated I was told it was fake. I contacted the auction house who rudely told me that when you leave the auction house with your items the guarantee/refund is over so I couldn't claim anything. Mind you, I had my item shipped! The auction house then stopped replying and I started reading their reviews ( wish I had done that earlier) where it became obvious more people had bought fake designer items. I contacted invaluable and included my authentication report and the reviews on the website. They took NO action, in fact the auction house is still selling fake items on their platform!
Someone else wrote about it, unfortunately I only read it after an auction. I was surprised how invaluable even tried to encourage me to place a higher maximum bid than I did. Gave me a strange feeling... and when the auction started, it went up straight to my maximum and stopped there... Glad my maximum bid was only 50% above the starting bid, invaluable wanted to tell me I got better chances if I increased the maximum bid to 100% above... well probably they were right... there obviously was a better chance to pay a 100% above if I place a maximum bid 100 % above ;) Of course I cannot proove anything, that´s why 2 stars!
Answer: Same thing happened to me. Don't wait, they'll give you mumbo-jumbo.
Answer: Because you take a cut but accept ZERO responsibility. When called on to help, you disappear. That's why.
Answer: After three different experiences buying through Invaluable, I can confirm and assure that all three pieces of art are fakes. They sell pieces under the name of the original artist and shield themselves in their terms and conditions, but the truth is that after more than five months writing to the support service, I haven't received any answer. The three auction houses are still repeatedly selling fakes and are doing nothing to stop it. Invaluable is protecting all these auction houses from fraudulent auctions. And this doesn't mean that all the auction houses that use Invaluable are fraudulent, but a VERY high percentage are. Just do a Google search to find hundreds of results on different pages and videos. It's a shame, this seriously damages the credibility of the industry. Shame! Stay away from Invaluable if you're looking to buy an original piece.
Answer: It more than likely means the item didn't make its reserve and was not sold.
