I felt compelled to write this review after reading so many negative reviews. Invaluable auctions is similar to Liveauctioneers. They are simply a platform for user's to view auctions worldwide. Most Auction houses sell fakes to the highest bidder. They offer no guarantee etc. With The exception of high-end auctions like Sotheby's and Christie's. I have purchased 100's of items. 99% were bargains. A few items were fake. Reader's and buyer's need to do their own research in both the auction house And the items before bidding...Ask questions!
I participated in a online bid for some items on this site. After successfully bidding and winning on four items, one of the four items was not awarded to me even though I was given an confirmation email showing I won. I believe it was due to the item selling for less than other sites sell it for. The seller gave no information other than saying it was "a clerk error". I feel like they are able to pick and choose what you bid and buy based on if they like the price.

This site continues to advertise and take a % of earnings from counterfeit art even after notified and offered official proof the art is fake (Many times accompanied by a fake COA) Be careful. I suggest you never buy anything in a frame because this is where most fakes either in stellar or poor condition are hidden. Aside from that, unless you see a Certificate of Authenticity from a noted expert you take an enormous risk here.
Federal Authorities have listed art Fraud as third in corruption to Drugs and Human Trafficking. You will see this played out on Invaluable and there is a no return policy on Auctions. Counterfeiters have hundreds of tricks they play to sell their garbage on this site and Invaluable turns a blind eye. In my opinion this site is worth the time of the FBI and or the U.S attorney for a full investigation. I'd love to provide testimony. As for the consumer, take your business to only the most reputable of Art dealers. Be safe.

Invaluable is just another 'eBay', but for fancier more expensive things!
They are not held responsible for the Auction Houses that use them and so expect bad customer service, delays in delivery and items not as described
Tip for consumers:
Do your due diligence on the Auction House listed, not Invaluable. Two bad experiences and I'm done!
Sellers on their platform are selling fakes and even if you can provide evidence the platform will do absolutely nothing to help you. The platform is entirely 100% on the side of the sellers in every single instance. There are tons of better Auction platforms out there who properly vet their sellers.
Levy's Auction Palm Beach misleads clients relating to there shipping, they state they will organize shipping for buyers in-house but when you buy the item you want and email Levy's Auction for a shipping Quote, they pass you on to a local shipper, BAD BAD BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE because now they have your money and your at there mercy, they have your item and they have your money, now you have to get your own shipping quotes and run around, LEVY'S GETS NO STAR'S FROM ME, and further to my disappointment is that Invaluable's website review section associated to the Auctioneer does not allow you to leave feedback about the auction Company. BAD BAD BAD

NOT HAPPY WITH LEVYS FALSE INFORMATION ABOUT SHIPPING, DONT USE THIS AUCTION COMPANY IN PALM BEACH
Blatantly allow mispresented auction houses for permitting reviews and do not even know or can communicate their policies how review process works. Do not waste your energy if you have questions, their customer support team is beyond unhelpful and cannot comprehend simple questions as it relates to their own policies. David needs a whole new team
This past week, for the third time, the Invaluable online bidders screwed me out of a piece that I had bid on. I bid $100. Online and someone else bid $100. At the auction house.
Invaluable stated that, " We do not guarantee that by being the highest absentee bid you will win the lot." Then what's the point?

Tip for consumers:
Stay away from Invaluable-they really could care less about the customer.

I won't purchase from Invaluable again. First, the live auction was not possible to follow. Second, the hidden auction fees. Then a shipping delay of over two weeks, followed by a ridiculous shipping charge to get it to me as fast as possible. I actually got an email admonishing me that 'we cannot hold your item indefinitely'. Not a good platform, hidden auction fees, delayed shipping - stick with ebay
If I purchase something on invaluable which was shipped to the wrong address. When I try to contact the company I was blocked by the company they block my phone number which is immature and ridiculous. When I contacted invaluable they said they couldn't help. The name of the company is Saco auctions however they are using the name Designer Homes Florida it's a company that doesn't exist. Shady? They don't care as long as they get there cut of the profits.
Tip for consumers:
Don't!

I've used the site many times in the past but it's getting increasingly bad- clearly they changed the algorithm for searches and now it's nearly worthless. I use it to look for rare books, but never bid using the site- better to go directly to the auction house if you can. I imagine it will only get worse as they try to make more and more profits. I was recently granted some kind of elite status that allows you to search for auction results- a total joke.
Three times, over two different auctions, we have bid on-line, watched the bidding close for those three items, had the high bid (with an even higher max bid) and within 30 seconds after it closed, were told that we had lost the bid. There was no extension of time. There was no notice that there was a higher bid. This is incredibly frustrating and feels incredibly crooked. We will no longer be bidding through their service and would recommend the same for everyone else.
Absolutely no help. Really disappointing. Never answered my questions and appeared to accidentally hang up on me as there was some sort of distraction in their house. I've bought many auction items but I've never had to contact Invaluable before. I'll look for another platform. Terrible customer service.
Tip for consumers:
Do not expect any help of you have problems with an auction house

Whatever you do in life, do not buy anything from Pennington Antiques & Consignment LLC. I bought from them an item described as Dale Chihuly Original, when in fact it is an item mass produced in China (with the label "Made in China" attached).
Invaluable.com customer support was not very responsive either and practically refused to help me.
I suggest NOT dealing with Invaluable.com either as they host fraudulent auction sites.
Horrible experience. STAY AWAY.
Tip for consumers:
Do not use this site as they host fraudeulent auction sites such as
Pennington Antiques & Consignment LLC. They are a FRAUD
I have tried for an hour to bid.Despite doing the "registration" 6 times and being approved, I'm not permitted to bid. All I get is "pending" What the hell are you doing to preclude me from bidding in your auction? You're not the only game in town.I doubt that you'll respond, but I challenge to do so...
I bid in an Old Barn Auction and bid through Invaluable. Although I was the highest bidder, my bid was not sent to Old Barn and I did not win the lot. I do not trust the service Invaluable provides and rate their credibility as zero. Bidder beware as your bids through Invaluable may be high, and you will be identified as winning the lot, it may not recorded and you will not win the lot. Extremely disappointing! Old Barn Auction did not rectify the situation so I an disappointed with them as well

Stay away from this site, it traffics with "auction houses" that sell counterfeit products- purchased (January 13,2019) at watch offered as an authentic rolex and it was a fake.
After receiving the item, I was able to confirm it is a fake, i. E. Submariner code is *******, the item they sent me had a code ******* which corresponds to a GMT Master II model.
I have tried to ask them to take the item back bit as you can imagine they have not answered any of my attempts to contact them
First off I've been buying for around 4yrs always had a great experience with Auction houses. I'm not down playing the other customers bad dealings but you have to do your homework on items in advance and always ask for more information on high end purchases. Buyer beware and if items says attributed to then move on! Happy hunting everyone
Invaluable is a platform for almost any type of auction.
It is crooked, allows crooked auction houses to operate and could care less if one of its auction houses lies about the items presented, takes money without sending the items, turns a blind eye to complaints, etc., etc., etc.
Invaluable is a crooked organization and many of its auction houses are the same. BUYERS BEWARE!
I purchased an autographed album for a lot of money. It came with what looked like a legitimate COA. I hired a top notch authentication company and they confirmed in writing that my item was a total fake. My emails asking for a refund are only answered with "We're busy and we'll get back to you." But, no one does. Best to just assume they have nothing but garbage and save yourselves the money and stress.
Their platform is often delayed and you think you have won, only to find out that you have not. Try to use an auction that does not go through them. If you want to find out what an item sold for in the past, they charge you and continually make money in the future from your sale but refuse to give you any info even though they may have made thousands from you. I am tell my auctioneers that I do not want my sale price to be given to them in future
Invaluable is one of the easiest and safest platforms I've discovered for online auctions. As I read the negative reviews, seems those customers are denying their personal responsibility to verify an auction house and / or the items being purchased. That is NOT the responsibility of Invaluable!
I appreciate the simplicity of the visual layout and ease of navigation on the Invaluable site as an auction is in progress. Very user friendly, in fact, if an auction is not carried on Invaluable, I reconsider if I wish to bid at all. Their customer support has been very good to excellent when I've needed it.
Definitely my online auction platform of choice!
Bought piece of art that after checking with artist is FAKE. Customer service doesn't do anything and don't reply as it is not their problem… would never buy there!
I feel very foolish and embarrassed to admit, I was - WRONG! - about "Invaluable". It was my mistake that prevented me from accessing their website. Mea culpa!
Tip for consumers:
I have several emails that I use for different things. I had forgotten which one I had used to access their site which was why I couldn't get into my account. DOH! Don't forget to write down your email and password!

I bid on an item about 2 weeks ago. I stayed in the Invaluable site to ensure I would be the highest bidder. I then received an email stating the item had been "Passed", even though I put in the highest bid that was showing on the website. When I contacted them by email, I was told to contact the auction house, directly. I looked up the name of the auction house and checked their address. I them went to Google maps and it appeared this "auction house" was being run out of a small stationary store in Florida, with absolutely no mention if it being an auction house, on the outdoor sign. It also had very poor Google reviews which included paying for items which the customers never received, or items arrived damaged. I gave up after that, since this supposed "auction house" did not appear to be a legitimate business. About 2 weeks later, I saw another item on Invaluable, but this time it was in Germany. Since I live in Canada, I did not want to send money to a foreign country, unless I was sure it was a legitimate art auction house. I've contacted them several times, in English and in German, but their responses didn't seem to have anything to do with the piece of art I was asking about. Two days ago, I sent them an email stating that I had family in Germany who were going to come to their auction house to check out the item in question, assess its authenticity and then I would send them the money for it. Today, I went to their website and could not find this item, at all even though I was assured just 48 hours ago that they still had it. I went back to the Invaluable website and logged in to see if I could find it again, but I was repeatedly blocked from logging in! Did the auction house in Germany contact them and tell them I was questioning the authenticity of the piece of art I was interested in buying?! I have no idea! I just know, I can no longer access their website! Strange happenings with Invaluable! Very happy I found this website! Will definitely - not- be buying anything from them!
Tip for consumers:
From all of the reviews I've read and from my personal experience, "Invaluable" does not appear to be a very honest, trustworthy business. Perhaps finding auction houses closer to where you live would be the safer thing to do!

I could not buy anything on the site, or the other auction sites to which I was referred. The responses I received from my inquiries were extremely unsatisfactory. I couldn't help but feel if I sent anyine any money, I would be scammed!
