So many auctions on their website selling fakes, google the address sometimes a condo will come up, If an auction house does not have a physical address for viewing, name of parties working there, history, provenance of items run away, and even then they fake a lot of this. A huge percent of items sold are fake and auction platforms make money off this, should be criminal, they need to vet the sellers, Invaluable will not correct this, Never deal with an auction that will only take cash, wire money, or debit, you will loose your money. Buy something if you like it but don't expect it to be authentic. They allow auction houses to resurface with new names multiple times selling same fakes and for this they get a percent of your purchase. Boycott this save your money!
Horrible experience. I registered for an auction, they even confirmed by email I was good to go, but eventually I wasn't as the registration was not really completed and updated only the day after. This resulted in me losing the item I was bidding for, for a sum that I would have paid twice! I'd recommend to not use their service if you do not want to risk losing your bid.
Unreliable and poorly run website! This website is trying to compete with LiveAuctioneers but falls far short in comparison. Obviously, their designers are not as knowledgeable since the website is unreliable at the most crucial time. I was advised not to use them but I had to learn the hard way. Stay away!
Purchased a ring through invaluable (Rare Treasures) paid $750 for it never received the ring. Invaluable was completely useless in helping me get the merchant to send me the item or refund my money. They basically told me it wasn't their problem the ring that I purchased continues to be out there on the site months after I purchased it it is a total scam, When I asked them about ensuring that the merchants and items were actually authentic and available they said it's not their problem basically it's my problem she all but hung up on me. Be aware stay away!
I won a bid on August 18th, to this day I am still waiting for my item over 3 weeks later. I filed a complaint with invaluable and they told me they are just a website host and have nothing to do with Auction house directly. This is an awful response! They told me I have to dispute my charges and they allow another week to hear from the auction house. What kind of company lets just anyone use their website to sell! This whole situation is being handled very poorly! I will not big with them again.
This site is a rip off. I have screen shots that prove that I won two separate auctions and they will not stand behind their product. They rush by the winning bid to scrutinize and favor their returning bidders. They tell me to contact the auction house but it is their own web site that puts on the auction. RIPP OFF! Do not use this site.
I have never had a problem bidding at auction. I always honor my bid and pay immediately. One of the auction houses that uses Artfact has placed me on its No Bid list. This has to be an error on their part. Artfact will not tell me the name of the auction house. In fact, Artfact will not help me get this fixed! I resent having my name smeared in this way--and without any basis. Beware when you sign up for Artfact!

I wish I had seen these comments before bidding. The watch was not as described. It will cost me $200 to have the issue fixed. The shipping was more than it cost them. Ill end up paying TWICE the eBay value. STAY AWAY!
Bought a 'certified' diamond ring from Invaluable for.$700 for my daughter's graduation. The first day a diamond fell out. I got the ring checked by a jeweller. The diamonds are fake. Invaluable denied all responsibility and did not return my emails. I have given up. I think they are criminals.
I bought an antique italian bowl but 24 hours later the transaction was reversed because he decided freight was too expensive. He never even gave me a freight quote. He just decided all on his own. I reckon he sold it locally more easily and I got dudded.
I bought a "Rolex" and they took pictures so that the obvious items that would make me know it was not a rolex were obscured. They did say it was "marked Rolex and to not bid if concerned". I bid on it and unfortunately won. The watch arrived and I could have bought a better fake at the flea market. I would never use this site again.
* on the Gold Coast who have some connection to Invaluable are absolute con artists. They spot what they want themselves then pay next to nothing for it. They don't provide any sort of list for the product they load online then when the auction closes you have no idea what sold, whether the reserves were met or how many bids were on anything. People just turn up to pick up stock and there is nothing to show that the quantities being picked up are corrrect because they load things in multiples which only they know the exact number. They are not to be trusted, they totally manipulate the outcome of the auction to suit themselves and their friends.

By item count, most of the Jewelry is sold by scam "auction houses" that are illegitimate. I found 26,000 items listed, less than 1% were sold by reputable sellers. Having been involved with auctions for 40 years, I know which are bonafide and which aren't. I recommended Invaluable to a friend, and then later realized that most people, including my friend, would be taken in by a con artist seller. Which almost happened. I will never recommend Invaluable as a source of anything to anyone again. Check any reputed auction site for legitimacy before bidding!
DO NOT use Invaluable to bid. Last week I was approved to bid in a local auction and, using Invaluable, did just that. During yesterday's auction I bid on a great piece of art, but ended up losing because while Invaluable showed my bids, they weren't accepted. When I go to bid history, it just says "bid accepted, not submitted." Despite multiple attempts I have yet to receive any explanation from Invaluable support as to how or why this might be the case. So DON'T use Invaluable to bid on anything. You might be registered and approved for an auction, but Invaluable still won't accept your bid and, like me, you'll lose out on whatever it is you're bidding on.
Bid on item, won it but then auction house said was Invaluable error. Underbidder claimed item and still no response from Invaluable several days later. Auction house said it's a common issue with Invaluable and not to use them.
Followed the auction instructions to the letter. Bid and received a confirmation "bid received" and a bidder much lower won the auction. Choose a different online auction company and avoid this one. I've used several sites with nothing but success but this one just does not have the tech savvy to run with the big boys. Sad.
Post negative reviews based on the reviews of disreputable auction houses, ex. Morphy's, with no opportunity of buyer to dispute review. Some of their auction sites are questionable, and they do nothing to protect the consumer!
This is a ripoff service. It adds 5% to the buyer's fee, which you only find out after you complete the purchase. They say it is in the contract, but was nowhere I saw. I could just have easily gone directly through the auction house. I suggest you do and save a totally unnecessary fee.
Crazy... There are so many prints on here claiming to be or suggesting they are originals! The info on the pieces, use the same description over and over.
I've been bidding at various online auctions (Invaluable.com, Liveauctioneers.com) over the last year and now have proof that they are completely rigged. On three different occasions I've been the only bidder on a lot and have not won the item. Once, an auction house called antiquesyes.com, hosted by invaluable.com actually told me that the client would not honor the bids and refused to release the items. There is virtually no oversight of any kind for these auction houses, no best practices, nothing. They use shills to bid against online bidders and artificially raise prices. The whole thing is corrupt. The best thing is to buy at flea markets, estate sales, live auctions and garage sales. At least you know the price you're paying is the price you negotiate.
Answer: Same thing happened to me. Don't wait, they'll give you mumbo-jumbo.
Answer: Because you take a cut but accept ZERO responsibility. When called on to help, you disappear. That's why.
Answer: After three different experiences buying through Invaluable, I can confirm and assure that all three pieces of art are fakes. They sell pieces under the name of the original artist and shield themselves in their terms and conditions, but the truth is that after more than five months writing to the support service, I haven't received any answer. The three auction houses are still repeatedly selling fakes and are doing nothing to stop it. Invaluable is protecting all these auction houses from fraudulent auctions. And this doesn't mean that all the auction houses that use Invaluable are fraudulent, but a VERY high percentage are. Just do a Google search to find hundreds of results on different pages and videos. It's a shame, this seriously damages the credibility of the industry. Shame! Stay away from Invaluable if you're looking to buy an original piece.
Answer: It more than likely means the item didn't make its reserve and was not sold.
