DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY, At 1st it was fine, my truck just had a new engine installed and it died starting last week, so apparently in the middle of Corona virus, no work, no food, no money, they are charging me$75 for a "lock out" and another $35 to the shop recalibrating it. This is a HORRIBLE company, go with any ANY other breathalyzer company, just not this one. They will over charge all the time and you're forced to pay it. I'm strongly considering keeping my appointment today and having it REMOVED because there employees are incompetent to no end. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE company.

When dealing with a DUi, there is a lot you have to navigate. Your own personal responsibility, your relationship with alcohol, and the damage you've done to the community at large. One thing you don't need to have to deal with, is a sketchy and shady interlock company, that will pinch you for every penny, especially when it comes to pre-scheduled maintenance, and hitting you up with Fine after Fine despite the fact that you had already made your scheduling time clear. This is the kind of company that won't respond to phone calls, if you're lucky enough to get someone, or on their ineffective app, which they tout constantly with their robot caller system, get it somehow never gets through. I advise anyone who has the ability, not to use this horrible company. They will swindle, lie, and cheat every step of the way. Dui's are serious, and you should reevaluate everything about your life after you receive one, or the last thing you should do, is add some money grubbing, horrible, all for profit corporation to your list of troubles when you're dealing with this a life-changing dilemma. Don't drink and drive, but if you are caught up in the system, evaluate all of your internal and external problems, and then gain your driving freedom, Without the use of this swindling horrible company.

If I could, I wouldn't leave any stars. This company is only after your money. DO NOT CALL them & give them your information, they steal your money off the bat & you'll never be able to get ahold of them again. I have tried calling for weeks, multiple times & still have not gotten my "REFUNDABLE deposit" back. Customer service will take FOREVER to answer you as well. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!

RUN & DON'T LOOK BACK!

I would NOT recommend this company to my worst enemy! No one in customer service has a clue to what is going on or how to do their job. The only way to get anyone that knows what is going on is to leave a bad review! Even then they are no help. I have NEVER seen a company with so many unknowledgeable customer service representatives. Even the devise can't tell when your car has been turned off and will still ask you to give a breath sample! So when you turn your car off you better be ready to get out! They also can't show you proof that you failed to give a sample unless you get a court ordered subpoena! This is the 2nd time mine has been extended due to me "not giving a sample" after I turned my vehicle off when getting home from work, all because they "say" they have a photo of me still in the vehicle. That's 8 extra months! Their device should recognize when a vehicle has been turned off and not ask for another sample. If you are looking for an interlock company this is NOT the one you want I PROMISE!

The only thing I can say that is slightly positive is they make sure and take their $105 plus $40 lockout fee every month. I had complications from a surgery and didn't drive for 5 months but they still got their money. Not only did I have to replace my battery but now they are saying I have to tow my vehicle to the service center to get it recalibrated. I have had nothing but problems from day one and I would strongly suggest to start clear from this horrible company. #1 Go with someone cheaper. #2 Go with a customer service that actually does something instead of leaving you on hold for 1.5 hours. #3 Go with a company that doesn't straight up LIE and say they are transferring you to a 'senior technician' and just put you back into the que because senior technicians aren't even a thing.
I wasn't aware that there were other options for interlock companies and it's worth it to pay the $300 and something dollars to get it removed and go with someone else. Oh. I forgot to mention that it was $315 and a 45 minute drive to get it installed in the first place.

Worst company I have every dealt with customer service is nill, big run around too many hidden fees,red flags since first call,need to get media involved in this company so others stay away and don't make mistake to enter into this confidential network, check all reviews, this company robs customers and even installers contracted through Intoxalock will tell you its a company very difficult to communicate and deal with, can never get a straight answer or the same answer to frequently asked questions, people who answer phones don't do what they say they will and very hard to get a manager or supervisor to talk to which definitely is a BIG RED FLAG,why are they hiding from customers? Well to find out every time that you try and ask its confidential, this isn't THE CIA,it's a bunk company out of Hogsville Iowa, that every time you call you get a different person and when they give you a call back number the never answer

100 % misrepresentation

I was 💯 percent misrepresented, basically lied to so I would use this service. I had already picked out an interlock service 265.00 install including 1st month, when intoxolock called me. I asked why should I use this service: 1. We only calibrate every 3 months which is normal and can do with any other company
2. Told me my time would start as soon as my device was installed NOT TRUE
3. Told me it would take 2-4 hours the guy that installed said never is that true I was there 8 hours.
4. Told me payments are made 2x a month to help customers.
5. I paid the 49.95 to start never did he tell me that I would still owe 94.99 ( they charge a fee to use them as well as a monthly.
6. I pay them 94.99 a month and an additional 30.00 when calibration which he told me 15.00 to 20.00
Told me there was a minimum state charge of 94.99 NOT TRUE. I called 3 companies 79.99 to 90.00

The device is like 100 years old. It's huge wires all of the place and a camera huge, and a big block in my windshield.

I have never ever seen anything like this, devices are small quick to test and a very small camera.

This is the biggest misrepresentation I have ever seen! I WOULD GO TO ANY WHERE BUT HERE. Once you have signed up you can't talk to anyone I had to pretend to be a new user for them to call me back and I have been on hold for 45 minutes. The DMV needs to know this! As well as anyone else I can warn!' The installer was furious as to all the misrepresentations were in my email. I showed him. They also promised to give me a 100.00 back towards my install see if that's true? I have to have his service for the next year I am so disappointed and upset. The things you have to blow into won't even stay in the machine. I had to fumble around to find it before I could blow. Absolutely insane! And I just found out from the supervisor that he charged me $40 to overnight a device never told me he was overnighting anything never told him I had to have it ASAP. This is from something that happened in 2018 she's credited me the $40 but everything else she's just sorry for, well I'm sorry that this company ever ever called me because I would never ever use them.

Horrible Service

This thing locks me out all the Time nobody ever puts any notes in the system and always gives you a fail evwn if your not in the car, they will charge you money won't give it back, and thwy can never read your unit, they always try to find ways to charge you more money and they never take blame for it, i'VE HAD TO REPLACE MY UNIT SEVERAL TIMES SAME ISSUES. It's hard to get a hold of anyone to speak with they do not make it easy, and system shorts out all the time

I was amazed at the impatient's and irritability that I was immediately greeted with. I so look forward to getting this bulky and awkward Intoxalock device out of my vehicle so that I never have to call or deal with Intoxalock again. AVOID THIS COMPANY,

I simply had to unhook my battery while I was working on my truck and when I hooked the battery back up the device says that I tampered with the device. Foul.

Worst POS on EARTH

If the device senses ANY ALCOHOL FROM ANYWHERE it charges $80 and locks you out, also it drains the battery, but if the battery dies they charge you $80 and locks you out. If you don't drive the car, $80 charge and lock-out. Terrible in your car, EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE IS INCOMPETENT. "Supervisors" are horrible people. Strictly a cash grab. Does nothing to deture influenced driving. Perfectly able to do any drug on earth in mass amounts while driving with this device and it will not make a peep. You can drink as mong as you can afford the $80 charges. Worthless, POS.

Terrible company

Intoxalock might very well be the most horrible company I've ever had to deal with. I was not required to have the interlock device in my vehicle, but I went ahead and put it in because my license was going to be suspended. But I ended up taking it back out before I even had my license suspended because it was such a nightmare dealing with these people. And now, three months later they are still trying to bill me for a service I never signed up for. I never signed the contract. I have an email saying the service has been canceled. I have spent a lot of time online and on the phone talking to customer service. It doesn't seem to matter to these people. I had to change my credit card number, and dispute the charge with my credit card company. And I just today got another notification from intoxalock that my payment was declined. Absolutely ridiculous. These people are Crooks. Do not deal with them unless you absolutely absolutely have to. Go with any other company. They lied to me before I even had the device installed. The place where I had the device installed said they get nothing but complaints from intoxalock customers and they were going to file a complaint in my case because I was flat-out lied to by the intoxalock customer service person just to get me to have the device installed. Zero stars for Intoxalock

My account has been closed for 2 months and I am still getting emails saying that I'm getting billed for my monthly fee. I have attempted to contact someone to ask to stop sending emails, but, of course, I can't. I have had nothing but problems since I started. The price of installation was 3x what I was originally told and there is also an uninstall fee. It took several more hours than it should have because they were using a faulty device. When someone from client care did get to me, he was very nice and offered credits to my account. I would have rather had the cash back, though, because we were only going to use the device a short period, so credits were not needed. They did end up sending a check for the balance.
I feel like this company is one that hires another business to reel you in. If you put in an inquiry, they will call right away. That's the only time! They are the ones who give out misinformation and then you are sent to another part of the operation and you don't speak to that original person again! Maybe I had the misfortune of being an exception to the rule and normally things go well. I don't get that feeling, though.
So, whoever reads this from Intoxalock, please stop sending emails and saying I'm getting billed.

This device is not compatible for use with German cars PERIOD! They are crooks! The local service center was awesome in my home town. But the device and Intoxalock's support is horrific. The device uses too many amps to allow the car to perform correctly. It just isnt designed for foreign autos. Esp high end German vehicles though they claim it will work. It doesnt and they misrepresent themselves. DO NOT WASTE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN REPAIRS, BATTERY PURCHASES, AND TOWING BILLS... STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT... SCAM ALL THE WAY.

I signed a 6 month contract woth them and their devices are completly inaccurate. They charged me 180 $ a month because the device goes off and locks you out for no reason... i repet this is nothing but a way for them to rip you off. Intoxolock is going to rip you off. I highly sugest to go toanother company. You will save your selfs an arm and a leg. Trust me! Joseph leon

I live in Washington State for the most part intoxalock is awesome, except when you get a lock out that you have no control over, one of those reasons is a failed breath temperature, it costs 75$ when this happens, and I called to ask how I could avoid this the first time it happened and they had no answers and eventually hung up on me. Then this happened again I called again and still no answers, I asked to speak with a manager to dispute the charges and ask for further help on stopping this, they put me on hold for over a hour untill I just couldn't hold any longer, I love the device, easy to use, but when it comes to customer service, I dread ever having any issues.
