Able to log in on one computer, but not another, saying my account has not been set up.
Contacted their support and got little more than a shrug.
For the record, I work in IT and have tested in several browsers. Cannot continue with this nonsense as there are better services for cheaper.
The drivers do not look the due date on all dairy products i phone two twice to head office about 16 pack yogurt what i buy yesterday from walmart / Instacart will expire in 8 day's woman from head office did not care so much, i will get my friend to shop for only dairy products
Terrifying experience. Delivery driver was asked to leave items and I would get them when they were back to their car. The man took pictures of the items being left but continued standing outside.
I assumed he was confused so I went to the door and he tried to come in and said "more tip". This man also did not have a mask on. I told him I've added a tip at the checkout, which I did. My dog tried to get out and got in his way from coming inside, I got the door shut and locked immediately. He began beating on the door and yanking on my door handle. The man stayed outside my door for 15 minutes.
I spoke with instacart and they told me they wouldn't send him to me again? I said that is unacceptable and not good enough. They said they would call me back to do a report in two hours, since haven't responded to my email nor called me back.
Spoke with superstore manager and was told they have nothing to do with the delivery?
Mind you I was redirected to the delivery from instacart from the superstore website, until I spoke to the manager at superstore.
They advertise for instacart and don't seem to care who they are sending to peoples homes?
I don't recommend ANYONE using this service, especially any elderly or people home alone. Instacart doesn't take action for these workers and it's unacceptable and unsafe
I ordered some ink for my printer. A better, newer product was available and my shopper took the time to explain that the new cartridge had more ink but would still fit my machine. I appreciate the time they took to call me and explain the change and make sure I would be happy with their replacement. The order arrived quickly at my front door a short time later. Overall very satisfied.
Instacart open the flood gate to let any and everybody work for them and it has become a rat race. The pay ×mileages × order size has become ridiculous. Customer service sucks,. Customer lies and instacart takes their side no matter how much proof you show. Them. It also makes it bad for you and you see any batches even though they are plenty available. They will show you asinine batches in Hopes you will take them.no real customer service to talk you. You get tricked I'm to taking orders where a person orders 4 cases of water and no elevator but they live on the 5th floor... it's not worth the wear and tear on your car.
I worked for instacart for four years. I thought it was the best gig ever. However, they have recently changed many things about the company, one of which is that you can't contact them by phone. Even when you're working, and there might be an emergency. So I did an order, made $30 and when I went to cash out, I remembered I had to update my payment info. I was unable to update my payment info since I didn't have access to my old phone number. I did have access to my email though, I requested a code, and it never came. I contacted them via that chat and they told me to wait a day or so, I did. When I contacted them again, they said they can't help me. I contacted them every day for two weeks and even offered to prove my identity via DL or passport or social security card. They either said they couldn't help me or they would not even understand what I was saying. Like talking to a automated bot via chat. So they basically stole my money and told me to go f*** myself.
Wow thought this was a great deal being unable to get around temporarily! Then the receipt showed I payed over 25 dollars with their elaborate prices! Never again! I think they own door dash! Same concept! Plus a delivery charge and tip! Bye bye
Second time this happened. First time I ordered I got only half the order. Had to wait a week for that refund. Today they delivered my order to a different apartment. Over $100 in groceries that a total stranger now has. Lucky them! Now I have to wait another week before I can get my money back. My back is injured so Im not able to shop for heavy or numerous items at this time and now I have to wait a week to get my money back before I can put food in my fridge.
I agree I also work for Insta Cart and no issues and it can be a lot of work ecspecially when you have a batch with 3 deliveries per storethe most affective way to make everyone happy and ease the process is fluid communication Makes all go thouriughly being more specific about what you expect of certain items would make it so much more smooth ty
I came here to specifically write a POSITIVE REVIEW which I admit RARELY happens for me but it did in this case. I have been using instacart for about a year for publix groceries. They do NOT deliver but it has been for curbside pickup. If I have an issue with an item with an item, I just "report issue" and it is IMMEDIATELY refunded 100% no questions asked! I have done this so many times I have lost count. Been using instacart for publix only in my area of dunnellon, FL. I came here to write this five star review because they even CANCELED my last order and WAIVED the $15 fee!
For this reason I will keep my subscription.
A girl driver, in a dark blue civic, with dyed hair, and a babyseat in the back?... Flicked a lit joint in my car window after I accidentally cut her off. She actually delivered down the street from me after that. Are they really hiring people without drug testing them? I don't know how Instacart works, but this can't be right. Utterly shocked me.
Ordered from Kroger for delivery cause car is in the shop and didn't know that Instacart delivered for them, wish I had because I would have passed. They went to the absolute worst Kroger near me to shop instead of my preferred store which is less than a mile away. One is a small almost mom and pop Kroger, the other is a nice expansive store that actually stocks groceries. You guessed they sent my shopper to the crappy store so I got less than half my stuff. And the substitutions they made. Please. What a joke. I will never ever order deliver with anyone that uses this service. Instacart stinks. Save your money shop yourself.
Way too expensive all hidden charges and plus they expect you put high tip o notice.
On all my receipts was all hidden charges that added up to another 53.00 you kidding me high way robbery I rather go to the store and get the virus getting robbed

Point #2: My (conspiracy) thinking is, ditch the brick and mortar. Use these guys instead. My answer, "Nope!"
My first time trying it and they did not follow the instructions provided. They substituted without consent and as per the buy 1 get 1 free, it never happened. My first time experience with instacart was horrible. I will stick with Amazon.
Terrible. I placed an online grocery order from Walmart on a Friday afternoon for delivery the next day between 1000 and 1200. I live in an apartment building on the third floor. I stayed home waiting for the delivery. Nothing. No phone call. No text message. No buzzer. By 1300 I started calling Walmart to find out where my grocery order was, because according to Walmart it had been delivered to me.
On Saturday I made 3 phone calls to 3 different Walmart Customer service reps. I was told to call back on Sunday On Sunday, I made another 3 phone calls to Walmart and finally was told that I would be getting a refund email by Monday. (All the while, I was being told that I did receive the order. There was no mention of perhaps there was an error somewhere in the process.) By Tuesday am, still no email from Walmart. One of these phone calls directed me to Instacart. When I called Instacart the rep there said that she did not know why I had been given direction to call them. She did contact yet another customer service rep from Walmart and he told me that he would be processing my refund. I then received an email stating that I had received a refund for $11.17. My order was $104.79. So, I called Walmart yet again and this time the rep refunded me for $91.19. So, I received a total refund for $102.29, short $2.43. All the while I was reminded that my grocery order had indeed been delivered to me. I contacted Instacart again today. Again, I was being spoken to like I am a little child and that as the customer I must do this, do that, etc. I told the woman on the other end, that I had received my refund, but that I would never be using this service again and that I had put up signs in my building to let other people know to never use this service. I told her that the issue is between Walmart and Instacart and until they can get things sorted out between each other so that the customer is not getting the short end of the stick, and being spoken rudely while they are, that the business should not be operating at all. With every phone call to Walmart there is a customer service survey at the end of the call. I have given good reviews because I was under the impression that I was going to get a resolution. Anytime I engage in a customer service issue with Walmart I get the run around. What the heck is going on? The same for Instacart. What's with all this blaming and ripping off the customer rubbish? Terrible, terrible, terrible attitude.
Overcharge, supposed to have free delivery over $35, it added delivery fee plus an additional $10 for heavy item, (bottled water), these extra fees popped up AFTER it was ordered, did not show me all fees before it was too late! So I cancelled it, even more frustrating, per Customer service at Instacart " Instacart has already submitted your refund it takes up to 10 days for you to get a credit. Rrrr! How convenient for them. And then its an OVER charge to cushion the order for some crazy reason, this is not needed for bottles water. My actual total should have been $36.10 plus tax and "heavy" delivery fee of $10. Card was charged $60. Cancelled it so no receipt can be brought up yet I am charged instantly.
Never again. Rip off! Also the confirmation from Instacart thru Publix just states cancelled, no details, no recall of charges.
It was too late before I realized how bad the buying service actually was they overcharge you for for most items and they take advantage of the situation. I've been charged as high as 35% difference between store price and their price you are not dealing with the stores when you purchase using their service you are purchasing from them.
Some of the big box stores like Costco and Aldi must set a limit because there seems to be a great difference in markup between these stores and other ones.
Once I realized this I tried to cancel my subscription you have to read the fine print you only have a limited period of time before you can cancel and then you're stuck I would definitely advise against it I have made sure that it will not renew.
Amazon Prime and the new service at Walmart much better. Best pricing, Walmart. You cannot beat it.
Instacart placed items i did not order in my cart after the fact and charged me for them. It also charged me $68.70 more on an order than the total. In each instance, they said, OK, sorry, we'll give you back the money we stole - without doing anything else. Bring your business elsewhere if you expect an honest transaction!
I have been using the instacart for a long time since the pandemic came out. They started off pretty good but the past few months I have been having issues with the shoppers I kept on getting missing items and I kept getting the wrong items. I took a three-month hiatus the MasterCard and I finally gave them another chance today after three months again they bought me pizza crust that I did not put on the list and they bought me the wrong brand of cold cuts that I do not like these Shoppers cannot get it together I got a refund and they just lost my business I gave him so many chances and they keep messing up the Shoppers need to pay attention to instructions
Answer: Instacart does not give you the sale prices from the store. So if the peanut butter is 3.50 on sale. Instacart will charge you 4.80 regular price. Their prices are all over the board but on average you are paying 20% more.
Answer: You can't! The only way I got a response from them was when they emailed me to rate my driver and I gave a bad review for her and Instacart. I got an email back. Otherwise, there is no Customer Service! I tried everything under the "Help" section and got nowhere!
Answer: Seriously? They have already scientifically proven that is not spread that way. How many strangers & kids and semi drivers and warehouse people touch your stuff before it even leaves the store.
Answer: No, they don't by policy. But I've found they don't deliver anything else either. Last two orders were cancelled. I dumped my account and told them to keep the gift card balance. Done with InstaCart.
