Last month I joined Hinge and I was thrilled I found handsome men my age in the '60s. At one point I had 6 matches all talking to me.
Soon I realized these were fake profiles as these men never shared anything about themselves, their texts we're five words long and refused to have a date.
These scammers are so bold they even used a Pentagon general picture on a profile. How do I know it was fake? Because no one of his pictures has a normal cloth on. Just the uniform. How can Hinge miss this?
I reported all the fake profiles to Hinge but these men keep popping out.
Yesterday a man from the UK match with me. I ask him to send me a two-way ticket to the UK to see if he was real, he disappeared.
I sent an email to Hinge asking them if I can avoid these scammers with a paid subscription, but they did not answer.
I am very disappointed on Hinge not screening the people posting fake profiles. If a person looks like a model or like a general is not going to be in Hinge.
Also, there is a lot of inconsistency where these men live. Their profile says Chicago but they say they live in Ohio and their phone has a California area code. Very deceiving.

After the res umbrella company aka Travelers increased my insurance there times because I decline to use their driving app "intellidrive" I went to Progressive a completed their online application. They gave me a $642 quote for 6 months. When I asked them if they were going to increase my quote as Travelers did they told me they were going to ask me to send proof of insurance and base on how long I was with the "other insurance" they will adjust my quote. That means insurance companies are working with each other to take money out of the drivers with any stupid excuses like not using their driving app or changing carriers when they increase their prices three times higher like Travelers did. What a rip-off of progressive car insurance. The advertising in the picture is deceiving as if you lower the price it also lowers your coverage.

I am looking for a new place in north Chicago and my daughter recommended hotpads.com I am looking specifically dog-friendly places. I contacted 4 places 3 answered but did not take dogs contrary to what the description said and one (the one I likes most) never answered. The site does not have any filters so you can narrow your preferences and the worst is that they keep sending you two or three emails a day with pictures of random places as you can see in the picture. One side of the city to another. So annoying and totally useless.

After loving my job with WAG and losing my car in a accident caused by another driver, I contacted this barbarkclub through LinkedIn because they said I will do walks within the same area vs. crossing the city between walks. No answer. So I sent them an email and someone called me back. Barkbarkclub gives their dog walkers only 55% of the money they charge to their customers or about $9.50 per a 30 min walk. I asked for tips. "Well, they said, the customer can come to the site and leave a tip if they really liked you." One great feature of WAG app is that it makes it easy for customers to leave tips and almost everyone does.
But, he added, we want people to stay with us a long time... we also prefer that our walkers have their own car nor just ride their bike."
He ended the conversation saying he will call on "Thursday" but he never did.
Talking to this company it makes me realized I don't want to work for them. First keeping 50 percent of the money is a rip off, then downplaying tips is not good for the walkers as this keeps you motivated to do a great job, and worst they pay $9.50 but they want to have you a car? Just to have insurance you will need to do 10 dog walks. Seems like sustainable bikes are not good enough for this company. I say barkbarkclub has high demands for their walkers but offers little in return. Would this encourage people to stay long term? Not. Not a chance.

I did it. I decided to hike the PCT and besides time and maps I needed camping equipment which I have none. I went to the resale shops in town but I could only find one item here and one there. At this pace will take me months to gather all I needed for my hike. So I went to Sierra Post. Their website is very easy to use. You can search items by brand, by color, by price. So yes I got my orange tent and at a third of the price. The tent was such good quality that survived harsh winds and rains. Great site.

Yes the application is lengthy but any good job requires effort. The first week I was not getting any walks and I was heartbroken but wag support is always there, a text message away. They told me to keep trying. I took walks a little out of my way and in the month os August I made $1000. I could make more but it requires more energy. In what job you can find clients that greet you with kisses and hugs? Clients who never complain and that next time you see them, will remember exactly who you are and love you like the first time? I love wag and I absolutely love my clients. Good tips and we get to keep 100% of them. Very easy to use app.

My daughter encouraged me to work for instacart so I started a few days ago. They say we will make a "lot of money" but we need to pick an item in 30 seconds. The first day the instacart lead helped me finding a few items and still I made 150 seconds time. Yesterday instacart left me completely by my self (never shop at Mariano's before) and it was hell. The supermarket employees did not know where the items were or they told me wrong. The deli counter took 7 minutes to cut half pound of meat. And to end the whole nightmare the cash registers were full of people and took forever. So how can you do a fast accurate shopping with no support? No support from instacart, no support from the store and the money? I made $14 an hour average. Ho yes instacart keeps 80% of the tips. So don't tip because the shoppers will get only 20% of your money. Team work? None you are in your own. Terrible company to work for and I've been working for instacart two weeks only.
