The shipping policy on their website says it takes 10 days to ship within India, but i did not receive my order for weeks and customer service kept saying they r working on it, they after a month they said they do not have that piece and they have to cancel the order, i had ordered the suit for an occasion and were depending on it, now i am not in a situation to buy something else so soon. And the customer service had nothing to do in return just a pretyped apology letter, their service sucks, how can they sell something online that they don't have in stock. I will not recommend online shopping at indianroots.com at all.

I purchase one dress on Sept 4th with order # ******* and after 2 months when it suppose to be delivered they mentioned they can't complete the order and I requested the refund and and they came up with excuse that for technical reasons they cant refund my money to my credit card then they issued store credit and 30% discount on full price item. I wanted to place another dress on November I ask them to send my 30% discount coupon code and they emailed me that I have to pay first and then they are going to issue the credit and I went ahead and ordered a dress on Nov 21st with order number ******* and now they emailed me that they cant issue credit. They removed all the customer service phone numbers from their website this enough red flag when a company removed their customer service number. Right now I am on hold with them for more than 20 minutes while I am writing this review. Very frustrating and unethical people to work with. Stay away* Stay away * Stay away * stay Away

I can't explain the extent of the hassle I am going through with Indianroots. I placed an order around October 11th, and today is December 23rd. I have been following up with their customer service for all these weeks/months, and every time they kept on lying to me. They have been giving me false updates regarding my order for the past 2 and a half months, and at this point, I am sick and tired of following up. I did not know about the 45 day policy re: Paypal, so now I'm even out of luck with getting a refund for the item. I spent my hard earned money for the item, which seems to gone down the drain now. I don't even know if I'll ever get the product or my money back.
I strongly suggest customers to refrain ordering from this website.

From a very long time, I was in search of an online store that provides traditional Indian wear clothes of good quality. After a lot of search and research I came across this amazing online store called Indianroots. I have made a number of purchases from this website and almost all the products, which I have ordered from this website, are really elegant. Recently I purchased a cotton saree from Indianroots and gifted it to my mom. She really liked the stuff of the saree.

Recently I was searching some of the Indian websites and found Indianroots. Frankly speaking I was very must Impressed by the name of the site and wanted to search more about. I also visited the site and must say that it is one of the site in which Indian culture is reflected. The variety of design, quality and the fabric provided seem to be good. Although its not that famous site but I believe that quality speaks for itself and this can said of Indianroots as well. Lovely site, would like to buy from it in future.

Hi, I would like to share my experience with Indian roots. It was my wedding and I was uncertain as to which material to choose, where to buy from. Then one of my friends recommended to go for online shopping but I was not sure whether to buy online or not as it was of the most important day of my life and I don’t want to spoil it because of the clothes. Then just for the sake of my friend went through the site and the first word that came was simply “wow”.

The skirts and the skirts Sets that Indianroots are providing are beautiful, classic, eye catching, exotic. My sister was very much found of skirts and wanted to buy the particular skirts but could not find it anywhere. Then one day while surfing the net I came across Indianroots and found that skirts there and gifted it to my sister. It was amazing and my sister really loved it. Thank You Indianroots for providing variety of stuff and trends.

Worst customer service, they say 15 to 17 days, but even after 60 days they won't start shipping, and after 60 to 70 days they say the item not available. They charge the card immediately. For the items those are not available its been 3 months i haven't got the refund. Very Very disappointing. They won't pick up the phone, by luck if you get the customer service representative, they won't resolve the issue and they will ask you to send email to *******@indianroots.com. Even if its their mistake they don't even bother pleasing the customer.

Like the countless people who have also provided the negative feedback, I too have had numerous conversations with IndianRoots. My orders have not arrived on time - and despite the site PROMISING delivery within 14 days... this is not the case. As a customer, I am suppose to follow up. The customer service team is yet to learn the true meaning of service. They are dishonest, have no authority and never provide consistent information.

I don't understand how this company has managed to stay in business.

I am now going straight to the brands that I prefer shopping with and paying a little extra to get the things that I want from a retailer that I CAN TRUST!

IndianRoots is a venture of NDTV - surprisingly, IndianRoots has no values, no ethos and continues to cheat and lie to customers at every opportunity available.

An order i made on Jan 2016 is not yet delivered as on 30 March 2016.
Still i get replies that it will now be shipped on 12th April 2016. When i ask for refund, they deny it. Do they expect me to wait endlessly for the product. Do they have any deadline to ship. If the vendor is not able to send them a product within 3 months, how can they expect the vendor will send them now. I think they are just holding on to my money.
Really pathetic service. They just have a simple answer, Apologies!
