I ordered a Rs. 579 cake on my father's birthday. It took Rs. 19 delivery charge and additional taxes on top of that. Four hours later, it demanded Rs. 295 more for delivery. I paid.
But ultimately it was not delivered. It didn't even inform me of its failure. My father didn't even get a cake from his only son on his 76th birthday.
The next day, I tried the customer support. Five of my calls were cut off at mid-sentence by different attendants. Lastly, one still in possession of some humanity, responded that they would send a refund coupon of Rs. 579 only (no refund of the delivery charge) with which I can buy another cake.
The coupon did not come. So, I called again. This time I received an email with a code.
In a few days, I tried to order another cake using the coupon. The payment app rejected the coupon saying it's an invalid code.
My 1000 bucks went down the drain, and my father spent a cake-less birthday.

My experience with IndiaCakes was nothing short of a nightmare. I ordered a chocolate cake (worth ₹559) and specifically confirmed with their customer service that delivery to my location was possible. They assured me it was, and I proceeded with the online order.
Immediately after placing the order, I received an email demanding an additional ₹275 for delivery charges. Despite this unexpected cost, I paid it, trusting their initial confirmation. However, my trust was completely misplaced.
Instead of delivering the cake, IndiaCakes canceled my order. When I demanded a refund, they offered a useless coupon code instead of my money back. After numerous frustrating calls, they finally agreed to send a cake, but the result was appalling.
They didn't deliver to my specified location. Instead, they sent a completely different cake – a cheap butterscotch cake (worth around ₹300) from a local bakery nearby. This was a far cry from the chocolate cake I ordered and paid for. To add insult to injury, they completely disregarded the extra ₹275 I paid for delivery, as the cake wasn't even delivered to the intended address.
What is the point of accepting an order, confirming delivery, and then delivering a completely different product to a different location? This level of incompetence and disregard for customer satisfaction is utterly unacceptable.
IndiaCakes has demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism, from misleading information and hidden charges to delivering a substandard product and failing to honor their commitments. I strongly advise anyone considering using IndiaCakes to look elsewhere. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment. This company is unreliable and provides terrible service. They stole my money and time. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I placed an order with Indiacakes for cake, flowers, and chocolates to be delivered to Kishtwar, Jammu. Before ordering, I made sure with customer care that they deliver to this location, and they confirmed they did. Based on this assurance, I went ahead with the order, which was supposed to be delivered on November 1,2024.

The delivery didn't happen as promised. When I emailed them the next day, they responded saying the location was far and that I needed to pay extra, which I did. Yet, even after making the additional payment, there's been no response from Indiacakes, and the order is still undelivered.

Extremely poor service—Indiacakes clearly lacks customer support and reliability. I highly advise against trusting their service based on my experience.

I had a very bad experience ordering from India Cakes. First of all, after placing the order, I was asked to pay Rs 275 extra and the reason given was 'the delivery place is far from the centre'. When I paid the money, I did not get any response. Worried that I will lose the cake as well as the Rs 694 already spent, I paid the money and then thought that the cake will come in the evening. It was almost night but the cake did not come. I called customer care and was told that your place is far from the centre so it will not come. When I asked for a refund, the call was disconnected. I am very disappointed. I don't think I will get any kind of refund but I hope this review reaches many people and they will not get cheated like I did.

I recently had a dreadful experience with a website claiming to deliver cakes, and I feel compelled to share my experience to warn others. After placing an order and making the payment, my cake was never delivered, and attempts to contact their customer care were met with silence.

To add insult to injury, a day after the expected delivery date, I received an email demanding an additional 275 rupees for a supposed delivery charge. This blatant attempt to extract more money was both infuriating and deceptive. The lack of transparency and customer support left me frustrated and disappointed.

Dealing with this fake website was not only a waste of money but also ruined my special day. I strongly advise everyone to steer clear of this fraudulent service to avoid falling victim to their disgraceful tactics.

I have placed order for heart shaped and i received a round shape. Not only that i was asked to pay extra around 275 as delivery charge which was not mentioned while ordering. And the cake came from near by store from my home which is leass than 5 k.m.
When I asked Indiacakes about this, no reply from them. Proof attached.

Worst company to order anything I have ordered 3things for which they first asked for extra amount after 10hours. Then the order was processed and the person whose gift it was he also got message to pay the amount. After everything they didn't deliver the bouquet and said they sent chocolates which should I pay 1500rupess for a stupid chocolate which I could order from anywhere. And on top of everything when I asked about the thing the lady said we sent chocolates and disconnected the call.

I booked a birthday cake for my father in law through this in 2020. I paid and booked online. Till the delivery time they didn't mention that they don't have delivery in that location. They only said like they have delivery all across India. I tried to contact the customer care they also said like waite delivery people will contact you. Later when I asked for refund they are not responding and still they are sending messages saying pay some more amount and complete the order. And three years later they have send me a message stating that I should complete my purchase and book another cake.Very poor customer care and very bad experience for me from the indiacakes. I won't recommend to anybody.

Manit Nagrani, based in Pune, MH, IN, is currently a CEO at IndiaCakes.com. Is responsible for the Scam. Unfortunately there is no such authority to take action against them. It is our fault and helplessness and dependency also that we get trapped by such website that appear first in google search. I ordered also and not delivered not refund and rude reply on calls and reply on email. There is no proper management and dealing. That shows it only created for scams. Once order is placed and money is paid, they asking to pay extra huge delivery charges. If I would have known about these changes earlier, I would not have placed the order. Customer care support is also very rude and will not listen to you.

Please don't use their service. They provide the worst service. The order which I placed was not delivered even after the event date. The payment was done before itself. The customer service is the worst. Without giving proper response they rejected the call from their end. I tried mail call everything possible still no response at all. Also they won't refund the amount in cash. Please don't go for it. It is so humiliating for the person who was planning for a surprise and couldn't do it

The website and its services are fraudulent. I placed order number *******850 on May 6th for an INR 800 cake delivery on Mother's Day, May 12th, 2024. I made the order six days in advance to allow ample time for confirmation of delivery feasibility. Despite multiple assurances, the website failed to deliver on their promise. On May 12th, they demanded an additional INR 400 for delivery, which was never communicated earlier.

Furthermore, attempts to contact them via email (10 emails sent), phone (phone number provided turned out to be fake), and chat have been fruitless, as they have not responded to any communication attempts. This behavior indicates fraudulent activity on the part of the website, and I wish to report this as a cybercrime."

After completion of payment they are claiming the payment is not done (though I have proff of my transaction)

They provide misleading information to customers. Complete HARASSMENT! They are charging extra for delivery however they are not making the delivery on the particular day.

I suggest do not use this platform at all!

I have booked an anniversary cake on 03.05.2021 and it has to be delivered on 06.03.2021.
But still today 10.05.2021 it has not delivered and no refund came. Also, they took 200 rs extra for every charge.

If they can't deliver then why taking orders to close the shop. Why collecting money from people through this medium.

These types of companies spoiling country names as putting India on their websites.

I would like to give negative stars unfortunately that is not possible. I have never experienced such crappy service ever before. Ordered a cake for aniversary which they were unable to deliver on the specified date so instead of a refund they gave me a stupid coupon so that they can frustrate me more with their extraordinary service. So this time ordered cake for birthday and paid Rs 150 extra for delivery within 2PM but it was delivered after 7PM. On top of this they donot pick up your calls or respond in chat unless they want to, and even if they answer your call they are just rude and talk as if i am the one who did a mistake(it was a mistake to order a cake from their site). So I hope this review helps and no one else does the same mistake which I did.

FRAUD ALERT. I didn't check the reviews about indiacakes before placing the order and i am another victim of this online Fraud. There is nothing you can do in india rather than just looking helpless no bank no payment gateway nothing will help you!
With lot of love and expectation i ordered cake for my Mother's birthday. The cake didn't deliver at all. The customer care number doesn't connect, i did so called chat support with 4 different windows open at same time and they will stop responding to me after i say that my order is not delivered.

I also sent lot of emails to their support email address and expected i didn; t hear back from them. I contacted my payment gateway and they redirected again this site so basically my money is gone now.

Hope someone will not be stupid like me and read this review so that their money can be saved.

This is a fraud company stealing money from the customers without delivering the cake. Once I made the order I received an email saying I need to make an additional 275 rupees for the delivery and only then the order will be processed. Rs. 575 was taken from my account in April 2023 and now in October 2023 they are still saying they'll contact me in 24 hours and cutting the call abruptly. Very bad customer service, no response to emails and fraud company. Please don't buy here and waste your hard earned money to these fraud people.

Cake not delivered. No one received the call from there support. No text message of order confirmation. They spoiled the whole birthday. Please don't relay on them. I have dropped lots of messages in the chat box, but no response. No they are not refunding the amount. Worst Service.
