Fraud, unethical company with business model of scamming with additional Rs. 250 for deliver. I ordered a cake and flower worth Rs900+ and it got confirmed by email clearly stating that shipping and handling is free, then I received another email asking for Rs 250 as the delivery destination was "too far. My residence is the center of town. After numerous mails, chat and call they are not refunding, push coupon. CHOOORRRRR

I have placed a cake order with indiackes.com on 15th for delivery on 17th May 2021 and even paid extra amount of 250/- as they said delivery area is far from their center.

I have even asked four time on chart support on 17th from morning to evening.( reply was it will be delivered)

The fourth time in the evening at 5 pm when I asked the status of my order they said it will be delivered by 7pm but it was not.

But it was not delivered on the 17th.

On the next day, When I reach to them for my refund by hearing to the word refund they do not respond on the charts and when I reach them on phone *******277 they are saying our delivery partner father has expired on the delivery day which is 17th may 2021 and the shop was closed.(if its true I am sorry for him) but till evening they were saying it will be delivered when the shop or their center was closed on the day they are still giving me the guaranty of the delivery.

They gave me this reason for non delivery of the order and when I asked for the refund they started sounding harsh and started saying, we will be giving a coupon code and your order is cancelled.

And we do not give any refund of the money we only give coupon code valid for a year if you want to use, use it or leave it but we will not give any refund and disconnects the call(twice they have disconnected the call and the executive name is Sonal) She was very unpollutable to the customers and no intention in solving the problem or responsible to give a proper reply. The more pain point is disconnects the call in the middle.

I even tried to reach them on their chart support executive name Sunita talk to her twice no response and another one Ashish he just simply replied money will not be refund only the coupon code and after that no reply to the message.( Attaching the screen shot of the conversations and the emails which received)

They do not have any delivery center for which the order was placed and they have never attempted to give a proper reply about the order status when asked.(seen some reviews on other sites every complaint have a request of extra money for delivery after placing the final order)

But when there is no attempt or any thing happened with my order and took extra cost and on the next day they are gave above reason and cancelled the order.

I said to them I am not happy with your service and I don't want to place any more order with your in future and asked for my money back.

When asked for refund saying will give coupon code if you want to use, use it or leave it and disconnect the call and no response on chart when asked for refund.

I am happy if my money can be donated to who in need like orphans house or covid camp I am more than happy but I do not want my money with these fraud company.

I recently had a really bad experience *******@indiacakes
For them customr satisfaction is least of a priority. I placed the order after multiple telephonic confirmations frm d executives & on d day whn cake was to be delivered I calld them in d morning just to take a confirmation. They assured that delivery will happen by 6pm. I waited patiently till 6:45pm nobody gave me any update.At last I calld them to take d status of my delivery vry conveniently they told me that they couldn't arrange d delivery.

Blunder1: Point to note here is their customer support closes at 7pm sharp & I was not being told about the status the entire day
Blunder2: They promised me a refund, as it was 7pm already & I was discussing my issue with them, they were in a hurry to close their shift and did not inform me about any refund policy. Wen I asked what needs to be done for a refund d executive told me to write an email and said everything will be managed and dropped d call

I wrote an email the same day stating all that has happened. I did not even receive an apology mail. After waiting for few days and not getting any response from their team. I called them again. And the executives told me that it takes 15days. I waited patiently but it was of no use. I had to call them again yesterday to remind them about my refund

Blunder3: the executives now told me that I can only get a coupon they don't refund at all. I don't know what took them so long to figure this out. I was really angry this time as it was d matter of 835/- & after all that I have gone through they expect me to shop from their website I mean seriously

Blunder4: I kept telling that I would like to talk to your senior & I don't want coupon but the refund as it was company's mistake & to my utter surprise the way their entire customer care department started behaving was unbelievable. They starting disconnecting my calls as they realised that I am again the same customer. One lady pretended as if she is not able to hear me n then kept the receiver aside while I cud hear executives laughing n talking wen I told her that you are on a call record pls don't pretend that you cannot hear me, she immediately disconnected #shameful

I placed an order and made payment for half kg Chocolate Truffle Cake for 29th May 2019 through their website (www.indiacakes.com). On 29th May morning I confirmed the order with a support executive of theirs and they guaranteed the cake would be delivered prior 7:00 -7:30pm that day.

Then later the very same day at 4:30pm 29th May I am getting an email saying only 1 kg cakes are available and that I have to pay Rs. 499 extra for the extra 1/2kg. But if this was the case, this should have been informed to me prior to placing the order or at least prior to making the payment. Certainly not at 4:30pm, asking me to pay an extra of Rs. 499 for a cake that should be delivered at 7:00-7:30pm, they left me with no option. I didn't want to pay extra for something that I don't want.

Then I tried chatting with the support executive, they were of no use, whatever I asked they just said pay extra. Then I send a mail asking them to the do the needful.

This is the substitution policy given by them, Substitution Policy: If any Product you have ordered is not available for delivery on your requested delivery date and delivery address, it may be substituted with next best available flavor, color, shape, size. I asked them substitute with any cake available. They wouldn't agree, they were just adamant on making me pay extra.

Since I understand it was not a deliberate mistake, I called on *******2222 to discuss and find a solution. But the lady who answered the call was extremely rude. She was screaming at me even though it was their fault. She screamed at me saying I can't cut a 1kg cake and make it half and give you. She told me I should call first and confirm the availability of the cake and after that place the order. Why do they even have online ordering option then? Doesn't make sense. I kept telling her this cake is for my Dad's birthday, please do something or at least give me a refund, she said no refund possible. Whatever I asked, they kept on repeating the same phrase "pay extra". Then she just cut the call saying we saw your mail, we will reply. They have no professionalism or respect for their customers.

I haven't got a mail reply still, nor was I able to gift cake to Dad on his birthday. I have been sending cakes to my parents for years from other websites, never have I faced such a problem. First time I used indiacakes for a change and it was the worst experience ever. Very unprofessional and very rude.
NEVER EVER ORDER from them unless you want to regret and spoil the special day of your loved ones.
