The experience has been very good. I sent 3 VHS tapes and they were converted fairly quickly into a digital format. Downloading from the imemories site was easy. I plan to send some 8mm film next.
Too much money and I didn't even received a thumbdrive or DVD or such. It was somewhere up there in the clouds. I could view them and my sister saved them for us. Thank you. I was glad to get the pictures. But disapointed.
Video is blurry, and sound is poor quality. For what I paid, not worth it.
Hi Julie, Thanks for your comment. The iMemories Safeship Kit is an optional box that customers can purchase to send their memories into us. It is not required. We also offer the option to ship using a box of your own and we will email a prepaid FedEx shippig label to you. We can absolutely look into any quality concerns you have. Please keep in mind these are standard definition videos being viewed with today's high definition screens. They will not be as clear and crisp as we have become accustomed to. I have been lugging 60 different reels of 8m home movies that were filmed from the late 1960s to the early 1980s, for around 25 years. I thought for sure they'd be ruined. IMemories was able to restore them and I was able to see videos of my mom. She passed away before cell phones had cameras. I was able to share these easily with other family members. It was very emotional for all of us. Now we can see them any time we want. Thank you iMemories!

There are four options to save your memories: you can order customized DVDs, USB flash drives, download and save the files to your computer and devices at no charge, or maintain online access with an iMemories Cloud Subscription for $7.99/month or $49.99/year. We do have all of this information in the Starter Guide that is included with the Safeship Kit, on our website and online when you login to make payment. We want to ensure our customers have as much information as possible when trusting iMemories with their precious family memories!
Very easy instructions and quick turnaround time. Pleased with our videos and glad they're finally converted from VHS. Customer service responded quickly when I had a question.
The wedding video was corrupted sound file and your company did not fix the sound iss or clean the 30 year old tape and improve the color on the tape. Your company merely copied it. I had to pay and extra expense to have another company restore my wedding tape to the original quality.

IMemories specializes in creating a digital copy of old home movie films, videotapes, photos, slides, and negatives so they can be viewed again with today's technology. We can often help reduce tracking (gray lines through the picture), audio issues and some other quality problems. We do not however do video restoration services. The original quality of the recording and condition of a tape will affect the outcome.
