I hadn't heard my Papas voice since he passed when I was 13. I never had the opportunity to say goodbye and I have struggled with his passing since. Just to hear his voice again was so amazing and to feel the happiness it gave me was just mind blowing. The process is super easy and I never had to worry for even a step of the way!
I feel so good that my videos have now been preserved...should have done this sooner before there was some degradation of the tape quality.
It is so rare to find a company with true customer service these days, but iMemories is *it*! A human answers the phone; they are expert, helpful, professional; friendly; they solve your problem. So five-stars for this alone and I implore the owners/management to *never* change this level of service to try to squeeze a bit more profit, okay?
Also, the company did a very impressive job not only digitizing my old videos but significantly improving the quality of the images/audio. I had first tried to digitize the videos myself. I was somewhat successful but had several tapes that transferred with very poor quality, so I sent these tapes to iMemories, hoping they might do better. Boy, did they ever! The customer service representative explained that if the quality isn't great on the first try, they'll try different techniques or equipment...so they saved my memories!
I'm very impressed by this company and hope they thrive by doing it the right way: great product, great service, fair pricing.
The films that captured the first 5 years of my daughter's life had been lost, stored in a mislabeled box for nearly 50 years! I planned a "girls trip" with my daughter, granddaughter, and nieces to view them digitally but, two days before the trip, was informed they would not be ready for two more weeks! I expressed my disappointment to a representative at iMemories who said nothing could be done... but two days later, as we arrived at the Airbnb, all 14 films appeared on my phone! We streamed them to the TV and, through tears and laughter, enjoyed the memories. Thanks for the iMemories!

I have been sending my old video tapes in over some time now. I'm so glad I decided to do this because now I get to relive those past memories over and over again anytime I want. The best part is they are all together online or in their app! I'm very happy with fast I get my memories downloaded once I send my tapes in as well. The process is super easy! SO glad I decided to do this!

I sent in 3 VHS tapes to be digitized. The process to send in the tapes was easy. After a few days I was notified that the contents of each tape was ready for viewing on the website. I was able to view the contents of each tape in the albums section. A couple of weeks later the original tapes were returned to me at no extra cost. The process was easy and the company was very good at notifying me of progress at each step. I highly recommend iMemories to anyone wishing to preserve memories.

Great customer service, very prompt in responding. This is the second time to have home movies digitized. Disappointed that we were not notified before our prior account of digitized media was removed.

I had old reels but I was hopeful to see what was on them. They were not able to get good quality video and it was very expensive. I feel like I threw a lot of money away even trying.
Hi Sheila, Thanks for your review! I reviewed your films and they look really good for their age and how they were filmed. There are a few minutes here and there where they were filming in low light or dark areas. This would be dark when we do the digital conversion, since the cameras did not have any light source on them at the time. The only other issue that makes it had to view is a portion that had double exposure. This is due to someone using a film cartridge that had already been used to record film a second time in error. I have nothing but good things to say about iMemories. I received digitized versions of my old recordings quickly. My original tapes were returned to me in a timely fashion. The iMemories app is easy to use. I was able to sort and download my memories. My family has received so much pleasure reminiscing and watching old videos.

I sent the photos in chronological order but they were returned in a random order. I had to figure out how to sort them so I called in and after a few attempts, was able to figure out how to sort the photos.
Hi Veronica, Thank you for your review. When we do the digital conversion of photos, we keep them grouped and in order as they were received. Our team will do their best to scan and upload them in that order as well. If there are photos that need more attention, they will take longer to process and get upload to the account as completed. This will cause some to be out of order. Once they are online, you can arrange them in the order you'd like. We're glad to hear you were able to get everything arranged!
