I sent them 7 photos and 1 video cassette tape. The whole reason I looked into the company was for the tape, I was extremely excited to see what was on it because it one of the very few things I could find of my early childhood. I received the digital versions of the photos and they looked great. A few weeks went by and I had not received a digital copy of the tape yet so I emailed them and they explained that the tape was damaged and could be repaired, but not by them. I asked about a refund and they said that wouldn't be available due to the time and resources it took to check the cassette tape. I understand they can't convert a damaged tape but it was upsetting how I spent money to receive nothing in return. Also the fact that I had to email them asking about it or they wouldn't have even explained it to me.
There are so many other options now for digitization, I found this a very expensive route. Over triple the prices of local options. Would recommend looking into other more affordable options.

So easy to use and all the videos turned out great! I was skeptical at first afraid of losing the video tapes in the mail but it went perfectly and was done in a timely manner. We had our first video uploaded within 2 days of them receiving our tapes!

I am very pleased with my experience with iMemories! My family has been so excited about transferring old VHS tapes to digital and being able to view them again. I've tried a couple times to download from the albums that were digitized but have been unable to get any downloads yet. I initiated the downloads, the showed the status as requested but I have been unsuccessful in getting them as of yet.

It was so easy to send my CD's and DVD's to iMemories. I am able to access all the videos and was sent back my originals.
I had all my mom's photo albums and pictures she kept. Some were so old I couldn't get them off the photo album pages. IMemories took the whole photo albums and digitized them for me. I am forever grateful for the time saved. I think it is worth the cost to have these memories saved. I purchased thumb drives for both my sisters as well.

We sent in 4 BETA tapes to transfer to digital. Overall, we received good results. I was especially happy the transfer of each tape was broken into separate events, rather than one continuous transfer. However, there were a few events where the tracking was off and the quality of the transfer was poor.
Also, you provide such care when to have the tapes shipped to you to be transferred, however, when we received the tapes back, the box looked to be haphazardly put together and was coming apart. There was plenty of bubble wrap protecting the tapes, but the bubble wrap was coming out of the seams of the taped box.

The tape we received had a damaged ribbon inside. Our team would have had to remove too much of the ribbon in order to repair it.
