When I signed up to send 10 old DVDs to iMemories, it sounded so simple and straight forward. In the end of this session, customer care service saved the day. Up until then, contacts at the main number did not offer a solution for my confusion and inability to download the DVDs from the sight. Customer service righted the ship by sending a stick with my material on it. I have spent maybe 20 hours and have not completed the project, yet.
The tapes have been following me for the past 20 years without real ability to view and no ability to share - this was the best money spent and will be great holiday gifts to all my family

The only issue is that the tape made 30 years ago are not of the quality of today's videos. But it is so nice to know that those memories aren't lost.

Finally decided to gather up all my old videos and get them converted. Glad I decided on iMemories. They were done quickly and my memories were safely returned.
Customer service was excellent. Difficulty with downloading but eventually it all worked. This review has been the most frustrating

I was hesitant to send original copies of my videos off to this company, or anywhere for that matter... but I needed to transfer everything to digital before I started losing quality in our home movies. Everything went smoothly, and quickly, with tons of customer support if you need help. I'm happy to say that I have everything back just in time for Christmas gifts. Thank you, IMemories.

The VHS taped converted fine to digital but unfortunately the bulk of my camcorder tapes did not. Though some of these tapes are 20 years old, when I viewed these tapes only a few years ago the sound & picture was fine. I don't understand why the sound is gone AND a lot of the footage is blurry. Sad about this... I wanted to put these videos on DVD and give them to my kids for Christmas.
I sent in 11 videos and ten were digitized. I am still trying to resolve the missing one which memories says is defective but the entire video plays fine at home. Of the ten digitized, I am generally pleased. The partitioning was not done well and I would have preferred to do it myself. Overall, the service works well.
Will have my memories forever when access to them is unavailable anymore. Can show my grandchildren their father at their age

I've had iMemories do a couple of digitizing jobs for me. They keep in great communication --from start to finish. They let you know they've received your items... how long it will take... what to expect... follow up... and return your original items back to you. Great company! So glad they do this. In my estimation What Are You Waiting For?! Get. It. Done.

Very expensive. I have no way of knowing if in fact everything was copied. Because of the quality of some of the tapes (from storage) I would have not spent the money to get those tapes converted.
Enjoying my videos' from imemories! Worth it!
Watching our home videos with my sons and family is so meaningful. I memories has allowed us to go back in time together and enjoy those special moments!
