Good. Could not hear anything if there was something to hear.
I was thrilled to get my video tapes digitized to save from deterioration. My family enjoyed getting together to view our old musical theater performances and the digitized versions were even clearer than when we played the tapes on a VCR.
Looking forward to a second order.

I sent 33 old movies in the box that was sent to me. Email telling me it was received, follow up emails with the status, and then an email telling me I could view my movies digitally. When I had a question, I called and the customer service representative was so helpful! Love everything about this company and my experience with their service!
Good customer service. Materials were shipped back in San timely manner. I wish I would have done this earlier because about 4 of my tapes had mold and/or water damage... so they are too damaged to be save. Don't wait!
I have been asking for years on who can i trust to put my old 8mm tapes onto dvd... finally found an add on facebook about imemories... greatest thing i ever did...
All of my old vhs tapes were converted successfully to digital. All my original tapes were delivered back to me (I would have loved the option to have them just thrown away instead of being charged another delivery fee just so I could throw them away). IMemories has been great at communicating and keeping me in touch, reminding me of how much longer I have left to download my digitals. My complaint is that with vhs tapes sometimes you have to track them so that the picture is clear. While watching my converted videos, it doesn't seem as though imemories spent any additional time making sure the quality of the video was clear. A small push of a button would have solved this problem (at least that's how it is when you watch them on vhs). My tapes are old (obviously) so some of it may have been unpreventable but some of it could have been fixed.
Quality of some photos very poor. Some so dark could not make out picture. Unhappy to be charged for those ones. Other than that great service.
I'm very happy with the work of Imemories. I highly suggest using the service if you want quality work.
I was VERY hesitant about using a service to convert my old VHS and 8mm tapes to digital. It's scary to put those treasures in the mail. However the process is complete and I am thrilled. It was worth every penny. The only drawback was it was a little difficult for me to figure out how to download the digital files onto a thumb drive, but that was probably my lack of tech skills. This was a great process overall.
I tried them out with sending one of my VHS. It took quite a while, but that's okay. The initial quality was not impressive: The visual footage what not great, but worse, there was hardly any audio. Even turning up the volume, I could barely hear any conversation.
They redid the video conversion without my asking and then they got it right! The audio was properly done, and now the video conversion is worth keeping. I will now give them another shot at another one.
I had sent a reel-to-reel tape to be copied... they actually show one in their advertisement which is why I chose iMemories. They rejected the format and couldn't transfer to digital. I was super disappointed since they advertise they can transfer that format. But everything else transferred fine, even the old slides I sent.
I'm not much for writing reviews but I am very grateful that I took the time this year and sent my 88m videos in. They processed them quickly and returned them in a very nice organized box. They even processed the damaged ones. Most of these tapes were over 20 years old. It was nice to be able to watch them again. Thank you, Imemories.
