I had these VCR videos since my kids were born and now my wife gets Alzheimer so I need them and me to remember her mom as she really is.

I had 40 old Hi 8 tapes of my kids growing up and family gatherings. I could never find the time to convert the tapes to a digital format even though I have the equipment to do so. My daughter suggested that we transfer the tapes as a birthday gift. We decided to use iMemories because they were less expensive than the competition. They did exactly what they said they would do. They sent us a box with return postage and we sent off our cherished memories. Within a few weeks, they started posting our tapes in digital format for downloading. The process was straight forward and the files were easy to download. I now have my 30 year old tapes in a format that are not going to deteriorate over time. I can now share copies of them with all of my kids. Within a few weeks after receiving my files, they returned the original tapes in good shape. Highly recommended.
I converted two very old 16mm film reels to digital and had DVD made, all through IMemories. They did an excellent job, including taking extra care to adjust lighting in one very faded sequence. I recommend them highly. This is the third or fourth time I have used IMemories and always had outstanding results.
I am so happy I decided to use this service. I considered other options, but I am very pleased with iMemories! They made the process so simple and I even received personal emails from customer service, both answering my questions and just making sure I received my orders. 10/10 recommend.
Love having my videos digitized! I had about 30 videos and about 28 of them turned out perfect. However, with two of them the sound was 30 seconds ahead of what the video was displaying. A little annoying but overall I am very happy with the decision to digitize!

A bit pricey, but how do you put a price on being able to see and share videos and pictures of your loved ones who have passed away.

IMemories was great to work with. It was easy to ship my old movies. The shipment box provided was sturdy with everything you need to secure your tapes. I was able to follow the process and the end result was better than expected. Now I can enjoy my videos from any computer/my phone and share than with family and friends. Price was good as well. Highly recommended.
It was a great experience to see family long gone in moving pictures not seen in decades and some of them, never. I had planned to digitalize the film "one day" that my parents had in the top of their closet. My father received a terminal diagnosis in March this year and suddenly it became very important to me to do it NOW. I was so praying the images would be returned "before it was too late" as his memory quickly fades. He now has the movies loaded on his iPad and can watch whenever he wants. He has images that include old friends, his children, wife and himself "back in the day AND images of HIS parents. WHAT A GREAT gift! It has truly been a wonderful experience!... now to do my own!

My experience with iMemories was excellent! I had 8 mm camcorder tapes converted to digital files. From the firsts moment to the last, I was kept in the loop with what step my tapes were in, where they were and what to expect. I was able to preview a couple digital files to make sure they were transferring correctly. When the conversion was complete, in a very timely manner, I was able to download the files onto my computer and onto thumb drives. I received my tapes back in perfect condition. These are precious memories and very hard to send away. This was a great place to send them and I would 100% use them again, with no hesitation.
