Even though in hindsight it is my fault I did not realize I only had 30 days to access the photos and videos. I only ended up downloading a small set of the pictures, and that seems to mean I no longer have access to the rest. I realize when you sent me the email you indicated I had a free trial to access the pictures. That was never indicated upfront when I sent the order in originally, or at least I never saw it. I just wasted a lot of money for no good reason. I sent an email asking if there was anything I could do to still access the pictures, and videos but did not get a response. Never again!
The service was simple and easy and relatively quick. We are very pleased!
Better to mail in vs. going to the office. I stood in reception area and no one came out behind the wall. Finally I grabbed a box and put it on the shelf for drop off leaving all of my memories hoping someone would take care of them! To my surprise, I received an email the next day... very happy!
I've used iMemories for many years and have been very happy with the quality of their work, the functionality of the website, pricing, etc. They do good work and are easy to work with.
IMemories is very easy to use; you send them your old home movie films (or even old VHS home movie tapes) and within a short time (a couple of weeks) they send you a notice that your films are done, and you go out to their site and download them. (Or they will send you a USB drive with them on it, as well.) Their quality is very good, especially considering these 8mm home movies are more than 60 years old, and haven't been stored under ideal conditions! So, yeah, they're a little grainy and some have scratches on the images, but it's at least as good as you'd get from a film projector that hardly anyone has anymore. And once your films are done, they send the originals back to you (with a prepaid label to send them some more if you have more to be digitized). We've been doing that, having them digitize a couple of large (7") reels of home movies every month, to spread out the expense of digitizing them. Plus, once they are digitized, they are very easy to share with other family members, wherever they may live! So everybody gets to see moving images of parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, and all.
We converted our home movies from 60 or 70 movies to1 USB drive. They are much easier to view and it doesn't take up space. Everyone I interacted with at this company was helpful and friendly. Great job all the way around!
Simple shipping and receiving. Estimate of costs was a little conservative but to be expected for what we shipped for initial cost. Final cost came in as expected. Quality of the digitized formatting was excellent, for 50 year old 35 mm slides. The downloading of files had a couple delays but customer service stepped in and we got it all done. Getting ready to send movie film next!

It is wonderful having all my home videos on my phone. So many times during the day I watch one of the videos and it brightens my day!
The whole process was seamless. I converted 15 VHS tapes to digital, and have been able to share the videos through the app easily and also download to my phone and PC.
When I recently moved, I found all of the videos and tapes I thought were unsalveagable.
They're back, and my adult children and I are so happy we entrusted them to iMemories!
