Hard to transfer onto my own hard drive, and wish I didn't transfer all my tapes, some were not worth it. But appreciate the opportunity to know what was on them!
Reasonably fast service, and I've rec'd good help via email with my questions. But I wasn't aware my access would only be free for 30 days and then I would have to pay. I must have been too excited and missed that part, so now I need to DOUBLE PAY so that I will always have access to old videos. I am retired and on a very small, fixed income, and being in this situation is NOT good and very disappointing.
We had ten 8mm reels up in a closet, just wasting away with no equipment to play them on. We sent them off to iMemories and a few weeks later, received an email saying they could be viewed and downloaded from their website. While they have not been digitally "enhanced" they look just fine for 50+ year old films. We downloaded them to 3 pc's plus a thumb drive, and they're in emails. A few weeks later, we received our original film back. All-in-all, we are very pleased with iMemories.
Seamless process, just thought some of videos would be enhanced a little more, but it's a great comfort to know my videos are saved digitally.
Now I can see my old video! IMemories is easy to order, track and use it.
