Imemories did a great Job! Although, just a little pricey, they did a great job and I just kept putting it off and never got it done. After flooding twice from hurricanes in the past four years and loosing more and more photos, I decided I better get what I had left digitized before I lost everything. It was easy and the website is easy to use and wonderful to share with family and friends! I have just loved it. I will use it again. Even for the price. It was worth it.
Timing was as quoted. Easy to view. Reasonable cost. Easy to share. Love it.
The reproductions of many old photos was excellent, and the price was the best I found anywhere. I did get concerned when there was no communication - I would recommend the following:
Let the customer know when you receive their photos and some sort of idea of how long the process will take - pad this generously or ask if the customer wants to know when the process for their items has begun.
Let the customer know when the return shipment of their items has happened, and a tracking number, so they can look for their items.
People are entrusting you with their treasures - better communication will build trust!
We were pretty good about making videos when our children were little, but never had a way to watch the videos we made (except on the camcorder). As our family grew and smartphones made it easier to capture memories - we stopped using the camcorder.
Our brother introduced us to iMemories. We sent about 35 small cassettes in to be converted... and a few VHS tapes.
WHAT A TREAT to now be able to watch these priceless videos! My heart is BURSTING with happiness to see my little family! There are videos we didn't even remember making. It has been such a blessing!
(Now I need to figure out how to add videos from my smart phone!)

I sent them an old VHS tape. I didn't know the state of the video bc we do not have a VCR. I was given a quote but never told that the tape was virtually unviewable. When I received my DVD, I could not be more disappointed that I paid $50 for squiggly lines. IMemories certainly could have warned me about the quality before suckering me into plunking down the additional money.

I was under the impression our tapes would be enhanced, the quality improved and put on something to have for a lifetime... the quality is poor and its on an icloud. Okay, well I am not very computer savvy so this does not really help me that much. A lot of money spent for nothing! Oh and I have to pay $50/month to maintain use of my videos to be able to view and share? Makes no sense to me!

Had a lifetime of videos converted to digital. Everything was perfect, quick, efficient. Quick return of originals. Courteous customer service. Now paying for storage with imemories for the convenience. Very reasonable fees.

I have tried several times but cannot get dvd's onto my computer. Apparently THE ONLY ACCESS I will have is by paying rent for iCloud access. Waste of money
There were 13 out of 200 slides that did not get digitized for some reason. I only got 187 digital images. I don't know which ones weren't converted. Also the 20% discount code was not applied. Other than that, the work was great.
My original videos on Mini DV were sharp and clear. The digital conversions are very grainy - not happy at all with the quality. They also charged me for items they couldn't convert due to copyright (old VHS tapes). Then there is the bait and switch where they suddenly want to charge a fee to keep access to the cloud storage. So I downloaded all my videos to my computer and I'm done with iMemories forever. Do not recommend.
I have used iMemories 2x. First time just with photos and 2nd with both photos and video. Im happy with the photos which I had them create from negatives. My hesitation with video was two-fold. 1. I wanted the individual digital files just as they are created on the tapes (Hi8) since they are easier to manage that way in iMovie or other movie software. I called to ask if this is what I would be getting and they assured me I would. But when they came, one tape was in 5-10 larger files, not the original clips. 2. I assumed they would be created in the highest quality since I like to create movies with them and view them on a TV screen. Unfortunately they are not in the quality I expected. When viewing the video on my mac, the window only takes up a small corner of the screen. When I try to enlarge it, the quality is very bad. So they are unusable for what I need them for. They are ok to do quick views on a phone or tablet but not for creating movies and viewing on large screens. Also, there is no option given to request a higher quality so even if you are willing to pay more you cant get them that way. I hope to find a company that can do this as its extremely time-consuming to do it myself.

I highly recommend this service. They are top-notch! If they offered a "cleanup and restoration" service that would be great but maybe out of price range for them to offer. I have used this service two of three times in past four years and will continue to do so

I was disappointed on the darkness of the pictures. I understood the dark pictures would be adjusted for more light. I was able to adjust the pictures with more light after I got them on my PC.
