HORRIBLE WEBSITE! Didn't find anyone. But their website is horrible and unintuitive. There's no way to cancel. They kept charging me through Paypal even AFTER I took my bank account off Paypal! SHADY SNEAKY company. Now I have to go through my bank and Paypal to get my money back from this shady company. DO NOT USE THEM.

EDIT: When cancelling, make sure to call Paypal because they just keep charging you autodraft through Paypal guest checkout. They just tell you to delete your bank info, but that doesn't stop the charges. Paypal has to stop it, so call them.

Worst run website I've ever seen.

When I opened a account I had issues from the start whereby my location was showing as US not UK. When I asked for this to be fixed on more than 3 occasions with a promise from customer service they were looking into it the issue was never fixed. I was charged for a service that was never provided. After giving up ever getting help from customer service I tried to delete my account but there was no obvious place to do so.

I emailed customer service and my exact wording 'I want to delete my account. But as expected your help page was just as useless as the service!' received a disgusting email back with racist comments:

You might get results talking to the Bloody Caffers like that, but to get our help, you will need to change your attitude. You might want to change that unfortunate pic on your Facebook profile, we can see why you have not had any luck.

Do not sign up for this site, definitely do not give them ANY of your money. I've filed with the BBB of FL, where Rochelle Peachey and her scamming husband are located. The profiles? Fake. The messages and flirts you receive the first two days of signing up? Staff. My bank had to block access from these people just to stop them from taking money after I asked them to cancel. It's insane. There's even a Twitter account that tells you how to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau of FL and even gives you the mailing address. Good luck.

Guys run! Do not sign in there do not subscribe! Profiles are fake! People talk to you once a week and never ever want to exchange email or Skype etc! I been on many social sites and fair enough some people not want to connect for a while unti l they get to know other person. But here they 'll express interest like once a week but never want to speak outside the site! If it was 2-3 people I understand but not all of them!
Plus admin answered my message to certain member and then pretend that it was just a online misteake?!

I feel like any positive reviews here are probably planted by the staff! Almost no one is online at any given time and heaven forbid you want to try and cancel your account or take down your profile - BECAUSE YOU CAN'T. Run. Run now. These people are frauds. Once you create a profile, you can't delete it or discontinue payments to them. You have to contact PayPal (I don't even have a PayPal account!) and force a stop further payment request. When I contacted the ILYA web team on that email address that they provide, the staff (and owner!) were hostile and rude and threatening and refused to take down my profile! I'm pretty sure they only want to keep it so they can pathetically and fraudulently boast more numbers than they really have - a bit of a digital hostage-taking. Also, it appears that the owner takes to posting private information about paying customers on the internet when she's angry about their complaints (I've seen this after Googling other reviews). YIKES.

A very useless site. When you are an unpaid member, you cannot even read any messages sent to you. So then what is the point of buying a membership? There are not many paid members so there are very few people you can actually talk to. So I tried to include an old email address in my profile in hopes of being able to communicate with a few people. But I got a very nasty email from the admin saying I "wasn't smart or classy"! I know it was against the rules, but the site is so restrictive. Wouldn't just be enough to say they removed it and not to do it again? I thought that was a bit strange, but after reading the other reviews it makes sense now. I also was getting the impression some male profiles are fake. They are supposed to be British, but a few of them used American spelling and expressions. Luckily I didn't buy a membership, but I'm not surprised by the trouble the other reviewers had with their accounts.

There should be a no star for this dating site. I cannot believe that this site has not been shut down already. Half the profiles there are fake and the every time the admin is on the same profiles pop up and will send you a one line email. Total waste of time and money. You cannot delete your profile from this site and it is a nightmare to get a cancellation done. Stay clear everyone! Good reviews are from the admin team. FAKE! FAKE! FAKE!

Really great dating site. Highly recommend if youre looking for something outside of the normal yawn dating sites. Get to talk to lots of different people from around the world all looking for that something special. I actually met and dated someone from Spain for 9 months, it didnt work out (due to personal reasons), so now Im heading back on to this site to put myself out there again. Really great dating site & would certainly recommend to all out there looking for love.

Wow. This site is seriously awful! The admin of this site is seriously unprofessional! This site cancelled by subscription at my request but then continued to charge me and denied all responsibility. They conveniently miss out in the cancellation process that you must cancel the paypal payment yourself. They're out to steal your money! Rochelle Peachey needs to learn some customer service skills and is a very bitter, unprofessional CEO. No people skills, which is the one thing a CEO needs! Doesn't she realise who pays her wage at the end of the day? Seems like a few others have had the same experience. We need to make a noise about this and stop this con artist right now! The service I paid for wasn't fufilled as the website is way below the standard of its competitors. Like the people below me, I cancelled within days. I am now out of pocket for money for a service I cancelled months ago! Wow. Like others have said. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CON!

I cancelled my account via Paypal and ILYA still charged me! After sending 3 polite emails to the ILYA admin, he/she responded saying since I was charged; it was obvious I was lying and I didn't cancel my account. When I forwarded the Paypal confirmation showing my account had been cancelled and the last payment authorized was 3 months ago, they accused me of "altering" the text. He/she finished off the last email by telling me to "keep it real". Unbelievable!

Most profiles are fake. I got a lot of emails until I signed up and paid to read them. Then the people stopped replying. The fake profikes wouldn't share any outside contact info. I emailed to cancel my account as I can't find a way to do it online (I have canceled via paypal) and magically I started getting emails again from people all apologizing for taking so long to reply. These replies were generic and you could tell they didn't read my emails.

Total scam for the most part. Some people may actually find someone else who is a real member of the site but it is not likely. I will look elsewhere.
