I joined this site just over a year ago now, found it really simple to sign up & within hours I started getting messages. Decent messages to, not the sleazy type you get from some dating sites. I Started chatting to this wonderful man in America at first a little bit skeptical but after several convos, face times we started to fall in love. 6 months later he'd flown to the UK & since then we've been going back & forth seeing each other! He proposed on Valentine's Day & we plan to marry & me relocate to America by the end of the year! So a huge thank you to the I love your accent team, dating sites can work & this is such a multicultural way of dating! Love it! Thank you so much :) :) :)

The World of dating goes transatlantic. Whether you managed to meet someone or not is not the point though. There are no guarantees when it comes to love and that includes the anglo-American scene. I'm purely rating the ethics of the website here. Am certainly well travelled and have a gut instinct for most things. So I'd say that whilst the majority of conversations initiated were genuine, a few others were clearly fakes trying to lure you into subscriptions. A simple test is to offer a direct form of contact, ie Skpe, email or whatsapp. Some will contact you, others will simply disappear. Its well known that the vast majority of genuine ads will happily trade numbers or email asap. Another well known anglo-American dating site does not suffer from the same problem as this one. However, that aside... there is a decent chance you will certainly get the chance to converse with genuine people. So it gets a reasonable score.

I joined this site in July 2016 purely on the spur of the moment, who knew I would end up finding the most important man in my life across the pond in Worcester but I did.
We married a week ago and I we just wanted to let others know that finding love online can work. To the people at iloveyouraccent.com, the biggest thank you from us.

Like all dating websites there are a few African scammers but they are easy to spot.
My time on this site was so so initially but after a month of chatting to various females I finally found the one, well she found me to be truthful.
My advice or tip would be to give it at least 2 months of your time and wink at everyone who you like the look of, some will answer some might not.
Anyone who called me Dearly beloved was deleted immediately lol

They will attempt to rip you off in more ways than one. First, there is no way of cancelling the membership on the website nor is there a way of finding out the cancellation must be done on Paypal. They don't bother to mention it unless you ask an admin. Second, those profiles that you see who are subscribing members are people who work for the website. I know that people get free membership from the other websites themselves. I've seen it done on match plenty of times before. They probably get to keep their membership as long as they reply some cheap one sentence message which they have been doing to me for the last two months. Third, I wouldn't waste my time on this website. If you look at some of those profile pictures close enough, you'll see a date the picture was taken. The one picture they have as a profile picture is over ten years old. This is a dead website held up by bird dump. My advice is to actually go out to great Britain to find someone. I hear a lot of British folk live in Florida these days. I personally want to find a bureau to report this website for fraud. This is a bad impression they put on the British, and I think the website should be taken down permanently because it's just a bunch of money grubbing scrubs on there.

Hi, it's been 3 days since I emailed *******@iloveyouraccent.com regarding the website issue of my login not working and I still have not received a response. I even included a screenshot of the error message. I figure there is a problem with the website. Today I tried the button that sends you your username and password if you forget and it gave an error that my email address was not registered. My profile and photo is still up there if you search. I am assuming there is something wrong with the website code. Nobody has bothered to contact me back. Perhaps this is just a one man show and the owner is on vacation?

My pictures were loaded sideways, they helped sort it for me, I had an issue with flirting and they helped me make my profile visible, as you might tell I am not technically minded. I do not have any issues so far, I like to get a response if I send an email and so far so good.
People on the site seem OK and I like my time so far, not a huge fan of people without a photo on their profile, it does not make any sense to be out there but not showing yourself. Shallow, maybe but if I have a picture, you should also.

AWFUL! They cut my account off in February after I claimed their site was fake and they didn't refund a dime of my money even after I filed with PayPal. The automatic payment of $30.00 was then deducted a few days back even though it was cancelled with PayPal and so I filed another claim and they are fighting back on not returning my money. If my money is not returned to me I will be filling with them in court in Florida and will need other people like everyone below to back me up. If this gets big enough we can all sue them for what belongs to us. In the event this happens I will be contacting some people below. Thank you so much! And good luck with these people. I hope they get shutdown soon.

Very bad experience and scared by some of the other reviews. I get the distinct impression that many of the profiles are fake (and they all seem to be too good-looking). Nobody replies to you more than once or twice, if they send you an email address it doesn't work, the video uploader on the site does not work. I haven't been able to "chat" to anyone and now I have read on one of the reviews that they keep on billing you and you can't get out of it, which has scared me. I will warn the bank not to make any payments to them via PayPal or I will take my bank account off of PayPal, at least temporarily. The only contact address is an email address. I don't think I have any chance of meeting anyone genuine on this site because I'm not sure if there are any genuine people on it.

So here I am writing yet another bad review about I Love Your Accent... I have written numerous emails with regards to cancelling my subscription, they only replied once after they spotted my review last time and told me to cancel my payment through PayPal! I do not have a PayPal account! I have written to them to cancel my subscription, however, they haven't and they have taken yet another payment - I'm sure that is illegal! I have requested for a refund but surprise, surprise that hasn't happened either... do not trust this company they are ripping people off!
