They claim they are giving you a free offer, TO TRY BEFORE YOU BUY... Well for starters. They take your shipping charges and place the hold for the "amount" on your card and they fail to deliver the product to you. VIA FEDED mind you. This company is a scam and a joke. It was in my hometown for 2 days before it shipped out to California and back to Arizona 20 days later from the day I ordered it. Save yourself the time and money and buy local.

Scam

The product was terrible made me break out bad, doesn't cover anything, and starts to fade off within an hour. The customer service is a joke. THERES A REASON YOU CANT SIGNIN TO YOUR ACCOUNT WITHOUT THEM HAVING TO SEND U A LINK TO SIGNIN WITH EVERY TIME. Please do not waste ur money. When they asked for me to leave review they kept deleting the one star review and would start me over unless I picked 5 stars solo. Scam all around. Concealer and mascara is a Joke

In all transparency, I've heard nothing but good things about this foundation. So, of course I wanted to try it. However, I didn't even get to try it. I was out of town for a funeral and came home to the package at my front door. I have no idea how long it was there. Not really an issue except when they force me to choose two items that you did not want in addition to the foundation that I did want. And then tell me I have 14 days to return those items or they will charge me full price (for items they did not even give me the option to opt out of)! If that weren't enough, when I immediately emailed them to let them know that I would not likely be able to get it back within 14 days because I'm an extremely busy schedule and being in and out of town, they did not acknowledge my issue at all and The fact that they forced me to choose stuff I didn't want and then want to force me to return it or charge my account. I will never recommend this company strictly because of the poor customer service and the whole bait and switch situation they have going on. The sad thing is the foundation looks like it would be a perfect match which is hard to find as a brown skin girl. But I'll try my luck elsewhere. Something that was supposed to be convenient and save me time has now turned into an extreme hassle during one of the most challenging times of my life. Buyer beware.

I ordered the concealer where you pay the shipping charge up front which equates to $5.30 - then you pay the remaining balance IF you decide to keep the product. I placed the order and received 2 separate charges on my card - one for the shipping and another charge for the remaining amount. Then I receive an email stating that this "additional hold" was placed on my account but will be removed in 1-4 days. Here we are on the 4th and the additional charge is still on my account. I also received a tracking number for my package 2 days ago and the package STILL has not been shipped- company only created a usps shipping label. This experience alone makes me not even want the concealer no matter how good it is. You don't have to trick people into buying your products.

Love it!

I purchased their foundation and eyeliner, both were amazing and true to their word. My only problem was when I ordered the second bottle and pore reducer my card was charged 158.00 dollars and was told it will fall off which it did. But in all honesty, the makeup and the brush are wonderful and I cannot live without it now.

Very upset was told that I would only get charged 5.35 I know you said pre auth charge but that should be the 5.35 not the total of the make up. I was not expecting that so i will be stopping that and deleting my profile and send the makeup right back to you.

Misleading: free trial or try before you buy it

I haven't received the products yet and will update this review later. Just wanted to let people know what they are getting into. The ad that I clicked stated free trial of a full sized product. This is misleading. The deal is to pay shipping to try the products and pay full price before you buy. I was immediately charged full price and shipping. The company claims this is a hold that will fall off. But if I decide to keep the products they will recharge later. You don't have to trick people to buy products. I'm gonna try and return it because this whole process is a hot mess.

Totally disappointing!

Right shade, 5 day delivery, great start! I wanted to love it, but it cakes in my pores even with the pore reducer, it's tacky and sticky, doesn't let the skin breath! Had to use Ponds to get it off. Worst of all, it doesn't cover and it's not buildable! I'm returning it!

So I feel for the same you know promotions and I thought I saw the reviews and I thought it was going to be a good product wrong wrong wrong lies lies lies it breaks your skin out it doesn't cover up anything don't buy it save your money me personally I have L'Oreal and it's worked so you know I'm going back to it sorry but I'm not going to have people buy the stuff and it's horrible on your skin...!

Great Customer Service

I purchased my first item using the "try before you buy" option. The primer didn't work out for me, do I returned it before the 14 day trial ended. They immediately sent a pre-paid return label that I just printed and taped over the original label on the original packaging and dropped it in the mail. No problems with any charges, and today they sent me a free promo code for $50 that can be used toward any product, including shipping. I was pretty surprised, and am excited to try something else. I can't speak for the product quality just yet (I have very sensitive skin that didn't like the primer), but am impressed with their customer service.

I'm not really sure where all the good reviews came from for Il Makiage. It's actually why I tried the products. I feel duped and fonned. T's NO miracle. It's NOT special. It's the opposite. For $150 u would expect something pretty awesome. Its NOT buildable, It's NOT full coverage, it smells horrible. It's cakes, it does NOT cover flaws and wrinkles. Again the opposite. Its much much worse. Please beware before purchase.it caused eye infection. Burns on my skin. It aged me 20 yrs. Please beware and proceed with caution before purchase. Trying this makeup has cost me much more than the cost of makeup. Dermatologist, eye Dr. Medications. This has been possibly the most expensive makeup and the worst makeup I've ever tried.

Misleading Website

This makeup got advertised to me on fb saying try the makeup for free, just pay shipping. So I did and then they talked me into trying a concealer "for free" too. Now that I've gotten the package it says if I dont return within 14 days I'll be charged the full amount. I would also like to add that their little shade matching tool didnt work, the makeup is sheer af and doesnt match my skin tone. They also threw in a "surprise" eyeliner that I'll have to return as well. All in all if I'm about to pay $44 dollars for a foundation, there are many others I would buy before this

I made an order for a FREE TRIAL of foundation and something else

This is what it said in the email and on the site:
"For now you've been charged for shipping and handling (+shipping tax) only. At the end of the trial period, you will be charged as listed above for each product you keep.

Please note: As stated prior to check-out, a pre-authorization may have been placed on your card.
Don't worry! The charge will disappear in 1-4 days.

You will not be charged for the full price unless you decide to keep the product(s)"

They charged me full price without me knowing and won't reply to my emails. Now I have no money to pay my bills and I now have to dispute this with the bank and my card is being shut down temporarily. I did not want to have to deal with all of this!

SHAME ON THIS "COMPANY" FOR DOING THIS TO PEOPLE!

DONT FALL FOR IT! They try and butter you up with e-codes and coupons... I had 5 seperate orders that never came. Oh but they sure charged me for it! Im pissed they just stoped repling to my emails wanting to know why I was charged but nothing was ever shipped. So upset and out almost $200

I found this site on fb while scrolling and I followed link to my browser. I was signing up and purchasing the sample and of course the only suppose to charge me for shipping which was 5$. But I do happened to put in the wrong service code from the back of card so I never got to continue. Later while on my phone I started receiving several different payments of 30$ from the site. Then I went to my email where I signed up, it's not even valid any more like I never signed up but they keep charging my card for 30$ Over seconds just because. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AND PLEASE BE AWARE. I'm currently reporting my card for fraudulent activity!

If I could give 0 stars. They took almost $200.00 out of my bank account without being mentioned. I email, Katie R. Told me 2-4 business days for my pre-authorization payment to be refunded back into my bank account. Try me now, I placed on November 10th 2020, it's been over a week and I haven't recieved my money back. In honesty I do think this is a scam. Be careful customers because I wouldn't have took the time to make a complaint. There goes $200.00 out the drain lol also they will email back explaining the same thing without answering your questions. Pathetic and very unprofessional.

Cant call them can only email. Very frustrating

Great makeup

This little company has great products. I read all the reviews and most of them were horrible. I must say, I did not have any problems. The makeup matched my skin tone to a T. I paid for shipping and then weeks later, I was charged $44 for the product. It was well worth it. Will I recommend to others? Of course I will. You can always return the product within 14 days if the makeup does not match or if you do not like the product.
