First of all I bought the makeup after seeing Melina Hardin demonstrate putting on this lush dewy med coverage Woke foundation. Well I bought it and it was think and not dewy at all. Came off in a few hrs. Also they say "try it before u buy it" but I was charged full price the day I ordered it. Then it took numerous emails to get a response for my credit. Buyer beware! CHECK UR CREDIT CARD if you choose the option to try it for 14 days before you buy it. Then you have to return bottles which seems very unsanitary to me w Covid or whatever else might be next. Perhaps it's safe but most companies tell you to just trash it. What if they just refill used portions in bottle and resell again? That's my concern…
Easy to shop and grateful for the discount for filling out the survey but logging in is hard. So many hoops to jump through why have a password if you can't use it and have to be emailed a link to log in? I know its to keep us protected, but still….

I was pretty impressed with the foundation and tried it for several days like instructed. However, it was too dark so I wanted to exchange it. They were quick to send me a return label to mail my foundation back to them, but they would not respond to my email regarding exchanging the foundation. I followed the instructions and received a reply that someone would get back with me in 24 hours. After 48 hours I sent another email. When I still not receive a response (and yes I checked my spam folder) I canceled my exchange and my auto refill. Maybe another time I'll try it but right now I don't have the time or energy to spend on getting someone to respond to help me exchange my foundation.
I love the no nonsense approach this company has. The idea of bring the makeup counter to your home is genius and the quality of the products are unmatched. Try it, you won't be sorry

I also realized that i never got the matching concealer that coiresponds with the shade 150. I m stuck with the 120. Thank you.
I have already purchased the foundation and concealer, they are excellent, now just purchased serum, cream and no filter products and not wait for them to arrive. The best products I have found, no problems what so ever. Thank you

Haven't received my #35 foundation yet but I really enjoyed the ability to get my shade just right. It reminded me of going to the optometrist and them asking,"Better number one, or number two".
The color is a PERFECT match! You all certainly corner the market on your amazing color matching system! With that being said, I find the foundation to be spotty. It isn't the flawless finish I was expecting from an expensive product. I also had to muscle the top off of the bottle to use it, which also removed the pump, causing issues with spillage. Overall, not thrilled and I really wanted to be.

…Then I found Il Makiage. I originally saw all these amazing, seemingly too good to be true ads on social media. The foundation I had been using had changed their formula and it just wasn't working for me anymore. I decided to see if all the hype was true about this foundation. It definitely was/is. I wish this foundation was created earlier because I can't imagine wearing anything else. Truly fantastic.
My foundation was delayed (through no one's fault, that happens and I get it) and without any prompting they sent a code for a discount on my next purchase- so nice! And the foundation has been stellar! So light and leaves such a clean look! Really appreciate the great customer service!
Answer: Yes! I believe they are anyway…but the problem with asking different peoples opinions and that is you will get MANY different opinions! The reason I say go for it and try them out is because regardless of if the products suit YOUR skin and style their customer service is amazing so you aren't really taking a risk as if for whatever reason you don't like what you buy they will fully refund or exchange with no problem at all. They are really quick with responding to enquiries too so if there's anything you want to ask them before buying I suggest sending them an email and you will soon see what I mean…they really go beyond to try and make their customers happy!

Answer: I wasn't successful. I sent them pics of the reaction I am having in the exact areas I am using the product and all they had to say was,"your 30 day return period has expired". For a company that charges $45 for 1.7 oz of cream, that is very poor customer service.
