I live in UAE and I got my orders within 5 days, all in good condition, I ordered baby food, soap, lotion and food supplement which have cheaper price compared to local market price. The only draw back is when I want to repeat the same order the shipping cost become so expensive, which doesn't make sense.
So i purchased a BPI Keto product that actually gets you out of keto! II asked for a refund but I had to return the products to the US, from NZ that its pretty expensive. Unhappy. Why would you sell a product that does the opposite of what is suppose to do?
A terrible site and bad customer service! I placed an order 3 weeks ago but still no shipping until now although i have contacted them many times. I cancelled my order today and will never buy from them again.
Terrible company! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE they have taken my money and refused to pay me back even though I have no product as they added on double the price of my product shipping costs (which I agreed to) when paying. Then added another doubkle the price cost after once the product was in the UK which I refused to! So I have no product and am down three times what the product is worth and they refuse to pay you back or speak to you with any dignity or remorse
Surprise! Despite the reassuring sight of your country's flag at the top of the page (which to any other human is a generally-recognized symbol of the business residing and shipping from your own country), surprise! - they ship it from the U.S. and expect you to pay the custom fees, with no warning.
Ordered from iherb as prices displayed in sterling with option to have goods delivered by DHL for£5.03. Once I received an order confirmation from iherb, I then received another text from DHL demanding a further charge of £16.00! On checking the very complicated and long terms and conditions found out that this company are based in the USA and that the customer is liable for any VAT and excise duty payableikable from the country where delivered. Turns out that I had to pay £5.23 VAT no duty but £10.77 to DHL for admin or Advance Payment charges. What a scam, low prices on line to entice you to buy from the site and then get hit with extra charges.DO NOT USE THIS SITE. BUY FROM UK ONLY.
I ordered from iHerb for the first time a couple days ago without reading any reviews beforehand. I ordered next-day shipping through UPS, indicating I'd recieve my package two days from placing my order. The transaction process went smoothly, although I was concerned that there was no tracking service available. I was also very concerned that I didn't recieve a confirmation email of any sort. After reading loads of terrible reviews about the website, I tried MULTIPLE times to log back into my account that I had just made MINUTES prior and was rejected every time. I tried resetting my password and nothing worked; customer service was useless. Thankfully, I ended up getting my package on time. The packaging was poorly taped shut and flimsy, and the product was thrown in the box with no bubble wrap or other protection. The condition of the product was fine, but I probably won't be using the site again simply because the ordering process was so stressful and messy due to lack of communication, and the packaging was so poor.
The company need to be more upfront about the customs fees that you are expected to pay for products shipped to the UK. Yes it is on the website etc. if you look hard enough for the information. As a customer, I believe iHerb should make this more apparent at time of payment and not use misleading language like 'Shipping Saver'. My advise for UK residents is to source the products locally to avoid paying for shipping and customs fees. It is not worth the hassle. I have ended up paying almost double for the item I purchased due to these charges. I contacted the company, but they just dismiss you with... Our shipping policy is very clear... Etc etc. Like I said, really not worth the hassle.
I used iHerb for many years with no issue. Now that they have no phone number available, all "customer service" handled through Chats with mostly incompetent kids. Or so it seems. They sent my package to an old deleted address & blamed me. Then a manager blamed me even though my account clearly showed the correct address. 2nd package sent out without a box# & UPS delivered it god knows where... 10 days, no vitamins & now they claim they're issuing a refund. USE VITACOST or anyone else with a working telephone number.
I usually dont write reviews, but I think this is too good to keep to myself. I have ordered from iHerb many times without issues. Yesterday however I received another delivery from them. Among other things I had ordered four bottles of Liquid CoQ10. Three of them were ok. The fourth bottle that I received was a funny plain brown bottle, with one big white lable on it, stating: 'FOR IN-STORE DEMO. NOT FOR RESALE). I'll try to add a photo so you can see for yourself. The normal bottle to the right, and the funny bottle to the left. It's so stupid I can hardly believe it. Makes me wonder what's in the other bottles. I got a refund for the bottle, thought it won't cover it since I'm one bottle short and I'll need to order again soon (not from them though.) and pay one more delivery to Sweden. Though I would prefer an explanation for how they were thinking when they packed something like this for delivery.
IHerb will blocked you when you will use or cash out your earned rewards. A BIG scammer. They cannot pay my total rewards credit amounting to 12k usd. Lol Good luck!
They have great products at great prices, and I was using them for months to buy my vitamins on a regular basis. Then, DHL used a third party delivery service and my package went missing. DHL closed the file because someone had faked my signature and the delivery driver said that she "delivered it, tell her to check her front door or mailbox". Well, we access the front door to check the mail box DAILY. To this day I have not received my package and my expected delivery date was 2 weeks ago. Iherb claims they still have to investigate this further, it is a maelstrom of irresponsibility! Their customer service has proved to be nothing but a run around.
I don't understand why all of you guys gave these bad reviews. Ok, maybe you did not understand that they are shipping from the US, but if you look on the website it is written in the "About Us" section: "Consider iHerb your own California-based natural products store!". So, it's clear that maybe you should pay some fees if you order from Europe or in any case from outside the US.
I have ordered from Zurich, Switzerland and I have the possibility to order with DPD-All InclusiveCH (I've just paid something like 6 euro shipping fee and DPD took charge of everything and I did not have to pay any additional money). The order arrived before the expected date.
I have seen all the bad reviews after I made the order and I expected the worst, but it was a fortunate event because otherwise, I would not make the order, but in the end, everything was more than fine.
So, I have to say that I am really happy with the service, I bought products that I can not find easily in Europe at a lower price that you can find online (for example on Amazon they are much more expensive).
I will definitely buy again from iHerb.
Iherb delivered my order through dhl and almost al the goods were broken. Yes the did credit my account but not the shippingcosts and not the loyalitybonus. What a shame...
Not clear that the goods are coming from America and that you will need to pay duty on top of there so called competitive prices... if you make the mistake of ordering from these people do not accept delivery and get your credit card company to chase payment and dhl to chase import fees from them. The delivery driver said that they get this situation a lot with iherb... hopefully it will end up costing iherb so much that this company will go out of business
My Importation charges came to 50% of the value of the whole order which is a criminal!
There is no warning of how to check the amount or even that there could be some charges as I was not aware this will be shipped from abroad. NOt happy. I won't use that shop again.
After 5 days of placing my order I received it by DHL. I have been ordering from the US a lot and this was the fastest ever delivery, product as described, well packaged, and was charged the exact amount at checkout.
I ordered a box of quest bars online, only to find out at a later date that it was being shipped from abroad, despite it being a local UK URL address. I was then asked for over £20 custom fees for an order that was only about £27. I refused to pay this and contacted iHerb asking for the order to be refunded. They advised me to refuse the delivery from the courier and it would go back to them.
Over a month has passed since, with numerous attempts to contact iHerb customer support and no response. I finally got a response today, over a month later - with them saying that the shipment has been abandoned because the return cost to them is higher than the refund amount so I will be getting no refund.
Absolutely criminal company, there are no words to describe how poor, unprofessional and disgusting their customer service is. Do not ever use this company, utter disgrace.
Bought in the UK, no sign on the site that they are based in the USA the item was shipped within 12 hours and they tried to charge $20 for customs despite the fact that they are officially the importer as the products are stocked in the UK PLUS they charged only UK postage cost. I cancelled the order and declined the DHL delivery they then claimed I owed $70 for return postage back to the US.
Then DHL started invoicing in the post and chasing for a further £16 customs
So to recap
Product cost = £27
Customs £16.58
Return DHL postage cost to USA $70
This was without even having take delivery of the item and having cancelled the order within 12 hours of placing it. Under UK trading law I am entitled to have a full refund.
These people are total SCAMMERS. Their customer service is non-existent every complaint was met with an increase in cost and no confirmation of any refund.

Seeing all the negative reviews it was very hard to decide either to by from iherb or not. Still, I made my order. Got it shipped to Moldova (Eastern Europe) in 3 days! Definetly I got lucky, but still it's the fastest delilvery ever. Thankfully no customs duties in my country.
And, to everyone writting negative reviews because of customs duties, be honest to yourself, it is your responsability to read carefully all the information before ordering.

Answer: Yes you will be charged extra, they dont make it clear when you place an order, but I was asked to pay an extra £15 sterling before they would deliver my goods to my home, so I refused and am waiting a refund of my order which they now tell me will take up to 6 months, not a good company to deal with, buy from home if I were you, I will not purchase from america again.

I had problems with not receiving my items, they didn't refund me after chasing them for over 6 months now and came to me with rediculoys excuses blaming UK customs and excise.
