Do not use this company, arrives at sorting office and a ticket goes through your door saying you can have parcel if you pay the customs charge, for me, my order value was 55euros and I had to pay 45euros customs charge for them to release the parcel to me, I will be taking this further with ofcom and making more reviews on this. I purchased few items on Iherb and after waiting over 3 weeks not getting my package I decided to contact them. To my surprise I was told that my order has been cancelled with no explanation. If my order was cancelled then why they did not refund my money? This website is scam and I will never purchase from them. Don't waste your money buying from them as they steel your money.
Im about to sue them. Theyre site is fraudulent as it uses a UK prefix to misrepresent where the goods are being shipped from. Interestingly in research prior to issuing the court process i found US sites who ship in UK with no customs charges. The site is hosted on google ads and i am suing them also. Happy to consider class action for exemplary damages?
I have been using IHerb for one year now and never had any issues until recently. I placed an order in December and still have not received it. I have been going in circles with customer service and am at the point where I had to order from a different company. I asked to be reimbursed the payment I made for the product I have not received and no one is resolving this issue. I would like to stay a customer and have been more patient than anyone would be in this situation. Now I'm beyond frustrated and am considering never ordering from these guys again.
I had purchased few times from iHerb. At first they were delivered fast. The products were not packed properly though, the liquid leaked all over the parcel. It was sticky, smelly and disgusting. Also, for my last order, it's been 40 days and passed estimate delivery date for long time but my order is still not delivered. I contacted customer service but they were not helpful and refused to check for me. I was a fan of iHerb but I guess I won't buy anything from this website again.
Good, FAST shipping to Canada, got some of my orders in 2 business days or less, no extra duty/taxes upon product arrival using DHL. The product I order from this site is half the cost of what I would pay in stores. Some products are priced higher than in store though so be careful. Seems like most people on here are having issues on shipping to UK.
I ordered 4 bottles of Ginger-Tumeric capsules and when they arrived the plastic outsides were melted and deformed and the insides were uneven and solidified. They would credited me the order back and sent me an email then changed their mind and said they would only credit one. I persisted and they tried to tell me that they had not melted as they are liquid inside and just appear melted (these are capsules - not gels) however the inside was not liquid but an uneven solidified form like baked). They pay no attention as it was the capsules themselves that had melted into a deformed shape. Stay away from these people.
I ordered a 2 ounce tincture a month ago, still hasnʻt arrived. Repeated complaints to the company have gotten me nothing but excuses. Do not order anything from these guys. Wishing I had read more reviews like this before I made my choice to trust them
I see there are dozens of people who buy from iHerb in the UK and get stung for £20.00+ by the carrier. They do not make this clear and say if you want a refund you will pay 2 lots of fees which is about the total order value.

Please think twice before ordering from these people! I went to the iherb page, placed an order for £48. As you pay in £s i didnt realise they were in america. You check out like you do, clicking buttons. Thinking it was UK i didnt even think to scrutinise the page to look for there may be duty charges... that was tea time. Dhl messaged to say they would deliver my parcel with a £21 waybill charge. I immediately got back to iherb to request a cancellation. (the next morning) i couldnt do that, i could request a recall. Now for some reason, you can request a recall but that doesnt mean it will happen?! Apparently. I spoke to dhl and they said just asked them to recall it, simple? No not at iherb. Nothing done. Live chatted again friday, same response. No help, thought i might be actually talking to a robot. Have spoken to their head chatter this morning who informed me i may as well pay the customs charge as a recall could cost as much as $50! Both times i asked for recall parcel was still in US!
So dhl are trying to get me to pay £21 so they can deliver, not happening, on principal i will lose the money ive already spent. Im hoping paypal may help. Please be careful when ordering from UK as like me, you may be ripped off!
I had to pay an additional 50% for my order the day it arrived or else it would return to their warehouse in Kentucky, USA. It was absolutely appalling to learn that I had to pay Customs and VAT on top of the product cost which was not clear during checkout. Had I known I had to pay that amount I would have gone elsewhere.

I have been purchasing from iherb for many years. In the beginning, prices and discounts were very good. The website was was incredibly easy to use. Someone answered a phone number to ask a question. Promotional items were included with your order. It was a very friendly feeling. Now prices have escalated. Discounts have plummeted. The website never operates correctly. You can't talk to a human over the phone. I have tried chat to resolve problems with the website, but they don't have a clue. Very frustrating. I usually spend 250 to 350 a month, but I will try to find another online site.
I am a constant online buyer and my packages have always been delivered. I ordered from this website and after tracking my package, it stated it had been delivered to my front door. That's a LIE! I have a sensor camera at my front door and nothing was ever delivered. I contacted customer service via online chat (they do not have a number to call) and they stated they would submit an RMA. I asked them multiple times if I should contact UPS to assist me with this and they kept ignoring my question. Nevertheless, I contacted UPS but got nowhere with them. They stated they have to investigate. I am now waiting for a response from IHerb to see about my refund. I don't understand how a company stays in business treating their customers like this. This company is suspect for sure! Do NOT order from them. Pay the extra dollars to buy the product at your local store.
Iherb shipping fees are RIDICULOUS! I think this is how they make their money. I went to another site to order the exact same product and shipping was $10 less! Just crazy!
I have used iherb for a long time. When I first found them the prices were very good and the discounts were good in addition. There were even little promotional items in the box. I've noticed that the discounts keep going down and many of the prices are going down. The terms to get free shipping had gotten better and have recently gotten worse. I had never had a a problem with the condition of shipments - If anything I had a hard time getting the protective material off. In the last 3 orders I have had 2 things I haven't ordered, one thing left out I did order and several things broken and spilled all over the box. I began to surmise that the company had been purchased and was being mined for anything it could produce. I have just today looked at amazon (which, I know, is not a great option; I did try to support an up and coming company) and their prices are definitely lower and I'm sure shipping will be fast. Hopefully their order records are easier to get through.
I did not receive my order, contacted iHerb via chat. They said that my package was delivered (left by the front door), but could not provide the carrier name and recommended to open RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization). The first RMA was rejected, so I opened another one and also a claim with Paypal, because I used them to pay for the order. The second RMA was approved, iHerb will give me a refund. I still not going to order from them again, but at least they gave me my money back. I still do not know how they shipped it, but from the tracking info the package was on a truck out for delivery in a town that is 3 hours away from my house... the tracking details do not have a carrier name.

Answer: Yes you will be charged extra, they dont make it clear when you place an order, but I was asked to pay an extra £15 sterling before they would deliver my goods to my home, so I refused and am waiting a refund of my order which they now tell me will take up to 6 months, not a good company to deal with, buy from home if I were you, I will not purchase from america again.
