Contacting ID mobile is nearly impossible. When you finally talk to a robot it just repeats itself with wrong information. Very poor signal throughout the UK. They would not let me keep my old number as 3 different pac codes would not work. Cannot cancel the contract without paying 23 months bills upfront. Absolute wankers. Do not switch to them.

Contacting ID mobile is nearly impossible. When you finally talk to a robot it just repeats itself with wrong information. Very poor signal throughout the UK. They would not let me keep my old number as 3 different pac codes would not work. Cannot cancel the contract without paying 23 months bills upfront. Absolute wankers. Do not switch to them.

Dangerous company, ordered a phone with them despite it saying I would have signal I had one bar everywhere. Cancelled my contract within 4 days so inside the cooling off period and the charged me £919. Spoke to live chat and the complaint team every day for a week and they said it would be removed only for them to send my final bill of £919 and then locked me out of my account, unable to log into to the app. Please avoid them, they are absolute cowboys are give Currys a bad name.

Absolute scam, I have a new contract phone for over 2 weeks now and still have no service, you can't talk to anyone there, filed a complaint and received no response, spent hours on their "live chat", talking to absolute liars, I'm contacting Ombudsman and if needed taking this matter to court. Stay clear off this horrendous company!

Simply by lying to them at every step. Examples:

1. Send the phone number to them to call and let them listen to pre-recorded message saying that there is no one to speak to you.

2. Say that the best way to contact us is use Live chat while live chat isn't working at all.

3. Repeatedly say on live chat that agent will be with you in 10 seconds and repeat for over half an hour.

It is all how the ID Mobile works.

Worse customer service ever. Unable to speak to anyone about my concerns
You are one of the worst network supplier companies!.
I have been your customer for 7 years, I have 2 numbers with you,
Your upgrade proposal, as far as Samsung is concerned, is only 4 phones
And all I had to do was go to the Carphone Warehouse,
And there I had 40 phones to choose from, also with upgrade plan.
Of course, ID charged an additional fee,extra £20,
for the upgrade, calling it -Pro-rated line rental!
Is there a fee for the upgrade? Oh no
You don't care about regular customers!

Tip for consumers:
Pro-rated line rental....£20 extra added to the bill for the upgrade plan... I wonder why?

'm thinking I've either been scammed by this company or that they are playing fast and loose with my data.
I ordered a new phone on contract for my son in a seamless transaction, all approved, contract sorted, even the obligatory mini transaction through the bank to check you are who you say. The phone attempted delivery next day but we weren't in. That's where it all got weird.
Instead of trying again to delivery I received nothing, no phone, no contact. After 2 further days, I got in touch to find out what was going on. Bizarrely despite being a phone company, they don't accept phone calls, everything is done through chat bot and then online chat. I was told that the reason for the return ‘has not been disclosed'. They point blank refuse to hand out a phone number or allow you to speak to anybody! If that doesn't give off warning signals then I don't know what does. I asked somebody to phone me within 24 hours but of course nobody did.
The upshot is no phone, no idea what has happened to my data, no idea where I stand with a contract and absolutely nobody to talk to.
In case you're wondering, it has nothing to to with my credit or status, I ordered a replacement phone from another company following this and it arrived the next day.
Avoid at all costs, if you have any kind of issue there is NOBODY to talk to.

Truly a horrid experience with this company. No one to talk to and for someone that has learning difficulties it has been a true nightmare. Avoid at all costs!

Their service is 100% online which means you CANNIOT speak to a human. They screwed up porting my number across to a new sim so I cancelled the order, and my direct debit, today. If you are elderly, don;'t have a laptop/iPad or a degree in IT skills DON'T GO NEAR THESE PEOPLE...a shambolic example of a pisspoor business model...

Signed up in February, didn't get a SIM card for well over a week and then another couple of weeks before it worked. Was promised £20 compensation plus £50 after 3 months as a promotion. Still waiting for both and phone still doesn't work. Now my complaints aren't even recorded. Nightmare!

Tip for consumers:
To be able to speak to someone! Complaints department don't give a monkeys so utterly abandoned.

AVOID THIS NETWORK

Ive just finished my 2-year-prison sentence with ID-mobile (contract) this was the biggest mistake I've ever made, service provided was very hit and miss.

At the end of my contract period with ID-mobile they made it is extremely difficult to notify them that you don't wish to upgrade or remain with them,

After eventually navigating through the site I managed to notify them I no longer wish to do business with them, this wasn't at all easy and I was extremely disappointed to find a debt collection letter through my letterbox stating that I owe £12,00 and to pay Immediately!

This was completely unnecessary, a gentle reminder of the final amount would have been fine, and maybe some gratitude for the 2 years of business with absolutely no missed or late payments!

Never again, at least not with the experience I've had with ID mobile,

I live in Australia and I noticed iD have been helping themselves to money in my bank. I have no account with iD. As it is so difficult to get in touch with iD I have cancelled the fraudulent direct Debit to stop more money being lost. They responded with a do not respond email saying that they will screw up my credit rating. Australian police cannot investigate as the crime is outside their jurisdiction. ID will do nothing, they are unhelpful and as they are so difficult to get hold of I could not recommend anyone doing business with them. If they treat their customers as bad as I have experienced then just how badly do they treat their staff. Sorry id staff. (yes punctuation nt correctly used but maybe id will be able to read it better).

One of the worst experience
One of the worst companies, liars and rude
I joined this company about three months ago, when you go to the shop in curry they make you think you got the best service but in reality it is one of the worst decision someone can make.
It all started with my partner telling me that the hospital keep calling her as they cannot reach me to book my heart surgery but each time I check my phone there is nothing but a voicemail despite me being in a place where there is a good signal.
I went to currys to find out why no one could reach me whennusing a private call, the guy in currys checked my phone a d he said the phone was fine, I already checked my setting several times.
The guy in currys tried to call me from his phone using the withheld number and again it went straight to voicemail.
The guy then provided me with a number to call and boy it was literally a nightmare
48 minuted on the phone with some guy from India who cared less
After 48 minutes of agonising torture the guy said that he will get someone to look into this and sort me within 24 hrs and I told him that I was desperate for the hospital call since I was waiting for this heart surgery since 2019, he confirmed that 24 hrs the problem will ve sorted and I will receive a call.
26 hrs later no one called or fixed the issue so I went to their chat room abd spoke to another guy again another hour and the new guy told me that the initial guy did not tell me the truth and I need to wait another 48 hrs so I asked him to escalate and he said for escalation it will take 72 hrs and then I received a message saying that it takes up to one week.
I contacted them and highlighted the emergency of my operation and that the hospital tried to reach me 17 times and just going to voicemail.
Literally no.one cares so.i kept calling and one of them.offered to give me a refund of £20, I refused and wanted more escalation,
After talking to 5 different people in India someone told me to go back to currys and request a new sim
I went and the new sim worked but all this could have been avoided if the first person told.me.to swap the sim with a new one
Then someone from the complaint team called me, it was a lady who really seem careless, at first she said my phone is faulty but when I confronted her with facts that the new sim worked she backed up and she said she will give me my refund, no apologies or nothing so I told her I was not after the refund as I was upset about missing my heart surgery and I want further escalation so they know how to talk to people...her reaction was...hung up the phone
I was literally surprised so I contacted them and again another 20 minutes with someone from India and again asking loads of questions just to tell me that he will escalate.
I am now waiting for their response as I am determined to take this case to legal and to trade standards commity and sue them for lying, lost of enjoyment, unnecessary stress, providing false information, breach of contract which resulted in me missing on my heart surgery that I was waiting for 4 years
Let's see if the £20 they offered will fix this for them.
My honest advice is not to use them as their deals as not different to any other providers and at least other providers has customer service in the uk and worried about their reputation while this company is just a side gig and customer is the last of their worry

I switched from Three to IDmobile who use Three's network allegedly. Download speeds went from 137 Mbs to 11 Mbs with IDmobile under the exact same conditions swapping the Three SIM card to the IDmobile SIM card and back again several times.

Tried to sort this out via IDmobile's website but, as usual with these companies, they offer extremely weak, limited and hard to access support and now I'm going to cancel on Monday as I'm within the 14 day cooling off period apparently.

I'm so disgusted with companies like this. I'm giving 1 due to the service and hassle experienced. After hours of frustration I managed to return the contract due to being within the 14 day cooling off period. I did this via Live Chat. They then sent me a bill for £1.96 after telling me there was nothing at all to pay.

MY RATINGS:

5 STARS PLUS! = Exceptional, with an unusually high standard of quality/ workmanship/ service/ communication, and zero problems. Highly recommended.

5 Stars = Great quality/ service/ value for money, with minimal problems. I would recommend.
4 Stars = Very good, and I would use again
3 Stars = Average, with room for improvement
2 Stars = Poor service or goods. I do not recommend.
1 Star = Gross incompetence/ dishonesty/ negligence. Stay away; the worst of the worst.

Very slow download speeds and frustrating access to customer support

STAY AWAY! Massive issues from go and I'm not the only one.

I have been so shafted by ID Mobile and their incompetency that I've suffered significant loss to my business, due to huge errors on their part, which resulted in 1) them sending me a faulty (not brand new) phone (complete con that they are non-refurbished/second hand) 2) upon returning it for a new handset they out of the blue sent me a 'sorry to see you go' text and cut me off my contract 3) defaulting to a PAYG sim - I couldn't make calls or even 'top up!'(?!).

4) I went through the complaints procedure for over two months via their 'second tier' complaints, who were nice to talk to, but couldn't resolve anything - It was more of moral support line than anything else; just plain weird actually.

5) Also, their *******@idmobile email address that they direct you to, did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to assist, only referred me to the second tier again. We must have had in excess of twenty chats and a random unhelpful letter in the post.

6) ID Mobile admitted ALL of these errors, yet could not rectify it unless (get this), I crossed over to a different network and then crossed back to ID Mobile(!), otherwise I would lose my mobile number, which has been my business line for twenty years - Basically, they expected me to do a triangular port and all the leg work.

What a mess of an organisation.

I'm done with ID Mobile for life and am spreading the word.

- And you should see their response on TrustPilot about. Completely irrelevant and irresponsible (prime example of no idea)... They are essentially suggesting it is okay to provide such terrible, embarrassing, appalling service that it effects customer lives and livelihoods personal contract or otherwise. ID Mobile is a walking mistake and you have just proved this - How very embarrassing. Oh and you've just prompted me to spread the word further about your utter incompetency. Laughable.

I. D mobile will take as much money as they can off you and does not want to help you out of the sitchuatuion that they put you in they laugh when they find out it costs to ring them then keep you on the line to find out that they can't do anything they kept me on the phone for a hour and lord knows how much that's going to cost me know and I had nothing solved
This is a disgrace and will warn every one about this horrible company

ID mobile has the absolute worst customer support I have ever had to deal with. They are robotic, unhelpful, and completely incompetent.

I have been trying to have my information removed after paying my final bill for months now. They continue to deny my request and do not give me another option for how to do so. Their responses are automated and inaccurate.

If I could give lower than 1 star, I would. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Took out oay monthly contract on 7th July and received no service, so cancelled on 14th July.
Was told final bill of 89 p would be taken from my account. Told them wasn't paying as never received any service from you, said they would waiver payment... today checked bank and payment already taken. Must say I am absolutely furious and would not encourage anyone to sign up with iD mobile as worst mobile provider I have ever experienced.!

The customer service and whole experience received from iD mobile is the worst I have ever experienced in my whole life. Trying to speak to anyone who can provide you with even a modicum of understanding of your problems let along try to find or offer a solution is nigh on impossible. After 9 months of a phone not working and no solution offered iD finally agreed to let me exit the contract free of charge as even they realised how pathetic the service had been. But true to form iD didn't even keep this promise and charged me the exit fee (full cost of contract remaining) anyway after I returned my handset as I was told to do. I can't stress enough how bad they were from start to finish and hope no-one ever buys another phone with them and has to go through this. Unbelievable
