I switched of Hulu over ATTTV Now streaming service and regret switching over. Hulu does not offer any of the black channels like BET or OWN. I called to voice my concern asked to speak with a manager and was basically told there nothing they can do. I was looking for more... they could at the very least said there working on getting these channels but nothing. Customer service is a joke and the service is constantly buffering. Definitely do not recommend Hulu and the new update sucks as well.

Get Netflix instead

I wish I could give this half a star but it only allows for one minimal. Hulu is untrustworthy and greedy. Want to watch a 20 minute show? Sit through 4 minutes of ads. An hour show? Sit through 8 or 10 minutes. Oh but they give you the option to pay more money for slightly less ads. Still stinks. OH but they give you ANOTHER option to pay EVEN MORE money for no ads! Lol that's not how you bring in customers or revenue. BEFORE YOU BUY... remember they only let you watch certain shows/movies based on how much money you pay for the subscription. If you've ever used Hulu you would know that they are in it for the money nor the service. Nobody is ever there to help you, nor do they put up a lot of shows/movies. But they have free tv so that should magically solve all your problems. I'd maybe consider it if they weren't so crappy with the red carpet.

GREAT!

I'm presently paying for my Hulu service and I'm rating it as GOOD connection. Hulu is an interesting streaming platform that has for a long time provided some great shows. Hulu provides a free catalog as well as a premium catalog, both of which are supported by advertisers.

I have had a Hulu subscription for several years specifically to watch General Hospital. I contacted Hulu via their chat where it took over 15 minutes for the rep to suggest more $ after a recent price increase, one of several since I have been watching GH on Hulu.

The rep wrote she could provide a transcript of our chat and then later in the conversation stated she could not and ended the chat.

I wanted the transcript because it illustrates the "Script" used to convince us to pay more for less and…so much more.

I am sure the people who work for Hulu know that some make gazillions and many are challenged to provide for their self and/or families.

Bottom line is accountability and after chatting for about 20 minutes my question (" Where is today's episode of General Hospital") was never answered.

Way too many commercials

There are way too many commercials. A 1:30 second commercial every 5 minutes. That's about 10 commercials if your watching a pretty long tv show. You pay 1 time a month for good old reliable Netflix and there are NO ADS. Do better Hulu, it shouldn't take 60 minutes to watch a 45 minute tv show. It has so many bad reviews for a reason. Hulu needs to take accountability and fix what everybody doesn't like about the subscription. Do better.

Hulu is a waste of your money for these 4 reasons.

1. Commercials! They are a waste of your time, & they play the same one over & over & over! & if you accidentally back out of your video or close out your page, you will have to watch the same commercials again!

2. Often doesn't even work! Not only do the videos just say "unavailable" sometimes for no reason, but the captions never work! Why have a caption option if when they are on, they won't show up!

3. Limited shows. Need I say more? There's only one show I'll watch on here!

4. Price. $7.99 a month. Amazon has every show imaginable & it's $49 a year! That's just a little over $4 a month!

I was a bit irritated because this was my 5th time in the last 7 days calling Hulu support. But the customer support rep was not helpful or pleasant at all.
1. answerd the phone like he was waking up from a nap.

2. Never sounded pleasant or happy to be assisting me.

3. Kept blaming me for the problem.

4. He kept breaking in and out/his voice was fuzzy

Since I cancelled Hulu 8 days ago. I have been charged 5 separate times $11.99 for supposedly re activating my account. I tried completely deleting my account and even then I was charged. I know it will take 3-5 business days to receive my money back but, I am still waiting for several of my refunds back. This was not the first time I received unpleasant customer support in the past 8 days. When I cancelled my Hulu subscription it was because I was low on funds. I planned on re activating my account in the summer. Now, I will I'll NEVER sign up for Hulu again.

Hulu is mediocre. Hulu+ isn't worth it. The selection is ok & changes seldom. For current movies, there's RedBox & your local cheapo theatre for a matinee or inexpensive night out (without the popcorn & drinks). There's also the public library & youtube. Hulu disappointed me when after an intentionally deactivated account I was no longer using was reactivated without my knowledge or permission & my credit card was charged.

I'm just disgruntled because I don't understand why Hulu won't sell me a subscription because live overseas. If I lived in the USA I wouldn't need a bloody subscription to watch the shows. I would gladly pay for it... tell me how much... money no object! On iTunes they let me install, sign up for a trial... and then tell me there is an "error".

Bordering on Scam

As good as Netfllix is, Hulu, which once at least decent, is useless. They skip seasons, episodes, have commercials, and heaven help you, if you give them your credit card info. Horrible, horrible site, customer service people, if you can Ever get one, is rude, incompetent, and, not interested in helping you with any concern you have.
Vudu is MUCH better. Stay away from Hulu.

I feel like the problem with this streaming platform is the people who created it have never used it. It's like they use Netflix at home, which is amazing and easy to use, and then go to work and say: Okay, let's do the exact opposite.
Like I get they are your competitor, but the Hulu interface is SO BAD. Nothing is intuitive, nothing is easy to figure out, there is no memory of what I've watched, I once even had to buy a second subscription because it simply forgot that I existed. I hate Hulu. Obviously I cancel right after I watch whatever it is I wanted to watch. Netflix? Will never, ever cancel.

Last year the subscription went up a dollar this year subscription goes up 2 dollars! Now this may not seem like a lot right now imagine in another 2-3 years it will go up a total of 6-9 dollars a month which is like 15-18 dollars a month if you have the basics ad plan which should be criminal! Hulu your content is complete trash and then y'all wanna keep increasing the price…. It's criminal y'all should be locked up for being greedy sobs

It seems like they are infusing more of the indoctrinating shows on there and pushing that agenda in their "picks".
They are also upping their game in terms of their ads. They claim their adds match the shows we watch. They have gay, lesbian and transgender ads in almost every show we watch and most of our shows are G, PG or PG 13! Ya, that's Grooming!
We had to cancel Disney, Netflix, Noggin, it looks like it's Hulu's turn! It doesn't seem like they have the mental capacity to comprehend the simple action/ reaction phenomenon! But then again, that's what the left does to your brain, wipes out your brain cells!

Well, it started out good but now for the past 4 months almost EVERY thing I watch stops constantly to load. It s' so irritating and i have to turn it off. I would keep it if the loading problem was corrected.

Commercial free

I've had HULU Commercial free $11.99 mo. The only thing I've had a problem with is connecting with my smart tv. Have to run through trouble shooting to get hulu to connect sometimes, otherwise no problems with streaming. I would recommend it.

Hulu = excuses

Whenever the app won't work ( 70 % of the time) I go back to trusted Netflix. Looking up reasons why the app isn't working, you will discover a plethora of excuses none which Hulu takes responsability for. If you won't mind the frustration of paying for a worthless app, then Hulu is for you. This I know, you will spend a lot of time turning your device off and on as they suggest in their trouble shooting recommendations. Hulu is garbage while the company itself are thieves. Don't be a victim to the "Hulu excuses."Boycott these liers.

Just tried logging in to continue watching my favorite show only to find out that Hulu discontinued their services with LG. So what am I supposed to do... get a new TV? Well I will definetly be discontinuing my account with them. So upsetting.

I have used Hulu for years and have always enjoys the format. I thought it was very easy yo use and navigate, i liked the new show notifications, and the organization of the content... but not anymore! I even watched their useless tutorial hoping I missdmed some helpful hints, but nope! Terrible, terrible app! Has to 'load' everytime you open it, the layout is horrible, difficult to manage your content and is just not overall user-friendly. Very disappointed, Hulu. Please go back!

Whats up with LG?

Been a member for a few years and never had a problem. Till last week. I guess my expensive LG tv isnt good enough. But my older tablet and phone. Work fine for this service. I dont understand how that is. Guess ill be searching for a better service cause im not buying a new TV just to run HULU! So disappointing.
