I place my order they took my money never sent my product told me to call the bank and have the bank put it back on my card the bank said I chose to order from them and it is not their fault so no board no money
They took my money and I never received the merchandise. I ordered 2 hoverboards on 11/26/16. Then when I called no answer. I look on the website and it says I have to dispute the charges with my bank. I had to pay double just to get the hoverboards from somewhwre else because this was my children's main Christmas gift and it has to be here before cherishes. Don't buy from then!

Although this website has had such a bad rap, we ordered two hoverboards from them. One of them came in the wrong color, and the other was the right order. These hoverboards have worked perfectly for us and have gave us no problems. That being said if we received the other hoverboard in the right color, it would be a good website to order off of.
Complete scam. After 4 weeks it finally arrived and it was the complete wrong one. We bought the $400 model and we received the $200 model. No one answers the phone and the emails are auto responses! Anyone have any ideas?

I ordered 3 hoverboards on 9/24/16. They took my money the same day. They shipped me the wrong color hover boards 3 different times and all times I shipped them back. I requested a refund on 12/1/16 and no reply. They don't answer the phone or emails. I have left several voice mails and still no reply. I made a compliant through the BBB. Still nothing. I ordered for my kids for Christmas. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. My next step is legal action. I want my $599.97 back. I have no hoverboards but they have had my money for almost 3 months. This is ridiculous. Very angry.

Ordered 2 on Oct. 11,2016 for "Santa." Did not open boxes until late Christmas Eve Night. Kids got up the next morning. So excited. And I be damned if the things don't work. I am so freaking passed off. Sent email Christmas Day, called Christmas Day, Monday, the 26th, and today, the 27th... absolutely nothing but voice-mail that is "full." Contacted my bank today to dispute broken hoverboards. Maybe my bank will come through. My kids were heartborken! Just absolute Scam!
Ordered oct 2, but was informed after a week and contacting them, that my order was delayed due to the huge sale. Then received a tracking # (thinking that would make me happy) that was not activated for another 2 days. Heard the hurricane matthew excuse too(if my order was shipped on time it would not have been an issue), but the real kick in the balls was finally receiving it, a purple hoverboard when i ordered white. WTF? I specifically picked that color for a reason, i didnt check the box marked "what ever you feel like sending". Nobody ever reports here when they are happy, all those nice reviews are from the employees, friends and relatives. I was an actual customer. Shop wisely.
I ordered a 8' monster hoverboard 399.99 plus extended warranty 69.99 on 10/30/16 I received a 6.5 classic hoverboard value on site for 199.99 on 11/15/16 I have called and email since 11/16/16 still no response I recently contacted my cc company and filed a dispute on all charges currently waiting on outcome cc company says it can take up to 60days and all I want is the difference or send me what I paid for never experienced this with any online company/business lesson learned always review reviews before ordering from any online company because if I would have looked at reviews before purchasing I wouldn't be in this situation hope this helps
The websites hoverboardusa.com and electricempire are scams! They are the same people and if you look closely at both pages you will see it! And everyone that is on here commenting, giving them 4 and 5 stars are the scam people writing the reviews! If you look at all the 4 and 5 star comments they're all written by the same person bc everyone of them are written correct, with perfect grammar and they all have explanation point! Oh and they all write a date with these slashes ///// and none of them uses - - -. It's very obvious! A friend of mine who works paycheck to paycheck ordered one 4 weeks ago and she hasn't heard anything from them! I pray justice is served to these heartless f#$ers! I feel sorry for them when they meet their maker!

I ordered a hoverboard a week ago from HoverBoarder. I went to check the status of my order today because I never received a shipped email, and there is an error message stating that they're ceasing to exist and that if you placed an order to dispute it with your credit card company! I used a visa gift card, and threw the gift card away. When I called hoverboard to discuss, the person on the other line said the only way to get my money back is to go through my credit card company (visa gift card) and that they 'have no money to give me'. Well they certainly have MY money. This is all my daughter wants for Christmas, and now I'm coming out of pocket DOUBLE just to make sure this gets here on time, and just hoping and praying that Visa can get the money back from this fraudulent company and reimburse me. Absolutely unacceptable.
I ordered a hoverboard for my son's birthday on 10/29 and they charged my credit card the next business day. Despite multiple phone messages left and emails sent, all I got back were generic emails saying nothing. They kept promising shipment that did not occur. I disputed with my credit card and emailed them telling them not to ship the hoverboard and then 2 weeks after I had ordered and after I had told them not to ship the hoverboard, they shipped it and I received it yesterday. I had already ordered another one from somewhere else for more money to give to my son for his birthday. I had to pay $27.00 to ship this one directly back to them and will never see that money. This is the worst online experience I've ever had. Fortunately I have protection through my credit card, which may never get the money back from this fraud.
I ordered one board on 11/02/16, a Gold one, then finally received it 11/17/2016 and it was Black. I would like to return it for the right color. In the meantime, I had ordered a second one before I received the wrong colored one, for my second son on 11/09/2016, and I still have not received anything. I have sent at least 4 emails and I have called and left voicemail messages to find out the status, but they have not replied. They had no problem getting my money the second I hit the submit button. I'm disgusted with this type of business!
I ordered 2 hoverboards, received a shipping tracking number that was fake for both. Then received another tracking number a week later. Received one hoverboard that was the wrong color and does not work. I have called several times with no return phone call and no one answers.
I ordered 2 hoverboards 11/23. I immediately went to cancel order after my husband did some research on this company. The website doesn't give option to cancel which was a red flag. I sent an email immediately advising to cancel order, and also contacted my credit card company and of course the payment was already pending. I have called this company multiple times and emailed multiple times and have not received a return call or email. I am in the process of working with my credit card company as we are disputing this. I advised in each email to the company to cancel my order and yet they just sent them to me. I also have filed a complaint with the BBB, which come to find out has a very long list of complaints for this company. Do not order anything from this company! They are scam artists and you will never be able to get ahold of them.

His name is Jimmy Temkin and he is doing business under many other company names using the same address that does not exist.
