How this company stays in business is beside me. I spent $900 on a faux marble coffee table that not only didn't arrive at all, but after 10 days of them dodging my calls trying to see where my table is, they finally tell me 2 weeks after it was supposed to be delivered that it's lost and now out of stock. What a joke! I told them to either find the table they lost and send it immediately or refund my $900 immediately. This is a ridiculous scam and waste of time and money. I will never order from this joke of a company again!
Our mom's aging-in-place bathroom renovation was a big success - a full wet room concept with zero-threshold shower, linear wall drain and full handicap design w/grab bars and accessible shower fixtures. Also a wider doorway for future wheelchair access, modular vanity, non-slip surfaces, and beautiful tile work. Functional and looks fantastic! Thanks, Rob, Steve and team for a job well done!
I have $1,800 wasted on 7 bar stools that are falling apart. I contact houzz with pictures they requested, return was about 90 days later, but after looking at the pictures they said I'm past the 30 day return policy. They why ask for pictures? We knew I was 90 days out. Furniture should last years without issue, especial at this price. Don't buy from this site!

We were in need of a new deck as our old wooden deck was starting to show it's age. I found Pulsar Construction online and requested a quote. I could not be more thrilled with my new walkway. Jeremy is a craftsman - the stone work is gorgeous. Not only is the walkway and retaining wall beautiful, he pays attention to practical issues like water runoff and impact to surrounding structures. In addition to all this he is a great guy, completely trustworthy and extremely fair in pricing. The bottom line - do not hesitate to go with Russell Masonry you will not regret it.
We've always like what we've seen on this site. Didn't know if we wanted to spend as much as we did with this company but they had a return policy that looked good. Until we received our $800 bathroom cabinet. We open ONE box and that's it. To see that it's not the right color we really wanted. Now we try to return it, just to find out that now we have to pay $288 to return it. Also they're going to refund our return MINUS the delivery charge back to them. So I'm not even getting my full money back to order something else from them. Not good!
So unexceptionable! This Was the first and last time we ever order from this company. I'm seeing why this company his only getting 2-2.5 star ratings.

We've made several purchases from Houzz and I don't have but the highest praise on their business practices. The products looks like the what's online and if we had any issues, it was corrected promptly.

Web site is well organized, product filters work, responsive results. We've ordered several products for a bathroom: vanity, mirror, light, and towel rack. Almost all have arrived in good shape on time. We had one problem with an item being delayed, but the staff were helpful in resolving the issue.
So far so good, just placed the lights in our kitchen. The only thing is that we were missing a few nuts an bolts from one of the three lights packages. How can I get those original parts?

We love houzz and usually find quality products at great prices. This mirror event was an aberration in our experience. The houzz team handled everything professionally and promptly. We will definitely continue to shop with Houzz.
I received my 2 chairs on time, but there was a missing part to one of the chairs. The company reached out the next day requesting the item missing, but I have not received a email from them in 10 days.
I placed an Internet order and the next day tried to cancel it.
They do not answer their phone.
There do not have an email address.
Online chat, if you can find it, rudely cut me off after saying essentially nothing.
I would definitely stay away from houzz.com.
They are not customer friendly.
I still have not solved my problem.
The subscription model only works for the companies that have been on Houzz for a long time. They will take your money and continue to tell you leads will come if you get more reviews and add projects but they will always favor the older accounts over the newer ones. The salespeople don't give you the full picture, they lock you into long-term agreements and are happy taking your money for nothing in return. I've consistently followed the recommendations and best practices and have nothing to show for it. Stay away. Your marketing dollars are better spent anywhere else.

Absolute scam, please do not fall for this by signing up. Use google ads, use Facebook, use anything but these absolute con artists. I wish we had read the reviews before signing up. AVOID.

If I can give them 0 stars I will. This company is a SCAM! DO NOT ORDER anything unless you want to pay for something that it would never be delivered to you. For the last 4 months l have been waiting to receive my refund of $1,825 for a furniture that I ordered but was NEVER delivered to me. After numerous emails and phone calls to them no Houzz' representative ever provided me with an answer as to why I am paying for something that was never delivered to me and why I do not receive a refund. I am shocked that this company even exist and is still in business however, I am convinced now that the only way to receive my refund is to take a legal action.

I purchased a bed over a month ago. ETA of arrival would be July 10-17th. I'm still waiting. I try to call chat and no one ever answer. There's never anyone available. This is ridiculous. I saw this Anthropologie dupe for a fraction of the price, and thought, "I can always return it if it's awful". The chair is identical to the more expensive one (that also doesn't come in this color)! So so happy with this purchase! Shipping was very fast, also! Thank you!

Answer: Good question Maggie. I don't think there is. I think this site is just there to help their vendor and not assist consumers in making informed decisions. I found had a contractor who had defrauded us and changed his business name on Houzz. I posted a review on his profile notifying the public of what he had done to us, and Houzz did not publish the review. I joined Sitejabber to warn the public about Houzz.
Answer: I began as a Pro on Houzz and spent $2000 on Advertising. This was supposedly for a year of top exposure. No one purchased, the couple of calls I received were people wanting to USE my service for ideas. I have since discontinued complimentary initial appointments. These people are the biggest scammers in the world! I'm still one of the Pros just to see if anything bites but I noticed they go into vendors photos and try to find similar product then they sell their products. Great way to sway your client and to steal customers!

Answer: The Pros, at least at the beginning, were not in competition with this company (Houzz). They convinced the "Designer" world that the were strictly collecting ideas for the public and to help improve the vendors chances of being hired. Those reviews on the Pros are about the Pros, they come from their clients. About 2-3 years ago, Houzz began selling out from under all the vendors! They are SO low they have gone into the photos of the pros, look for a product they have that might be similar to something they sell and lead them away from the pro. The 1-2 stars you see here are the reviews for "Houzz" and their service but the reviews under a Pro are for that Pro. Don't be fooled... If you want the job done right, call the Pro! Listen to these reviews of Houzz and you won't get burned. Two different animals completely!

The advertising doesn't work, and although they originally started up as a company that would work alongside the vendors, they are now selling out from under most of them, especially the interiors decorators! They are SO low they have actually tagged products inside some of the photos of interior designers and tabbed out similar products to stay the customer away from the Pro and to purchase through them directly!
Answer: Do yourself a huge favor and find it somewhere else. Houzz contracts with third party sellers and their freight companies, they're just a middle man. What a nightmare this has been.
