In this critical review, I will detail my experience with Hotelwiz and explain why I consider their actions dishonest.

Misleading Advertising:Upon browsing Hotelwiz's website, I came across a hotel that I was interested in booking, the Fairfield Inn. The site displayed all the necessary information and seemed legitimate, so I proceeded to make my reservation. However, when I tried to call the hotel to confirm my booking, I was informed that it was actually a different company altogether – the Best Western.

Cancellation Hurdles:Naturally, I contacted Hotelwiz to cancel my reservation, as it was not the hotel I had intended to book. To my surprise, the customer service representative insisted that the two hotels were essentially the same, and therefore I could not cancel my purchase. Instead, I was told to wait ten days to hear back from their "backend" team, who would decide whether or not the cancellation could be processed. This delay not only wasted my time but also seemed disingenuous and unprofessional.

In summary, my experience with Hotelwiz was far from satisfactory. The misleading advertisement of one hotel as another, coupled with the convoluted cancellation process, left me feeling frustrated and deceived. As a result, I urge potential customers to exercise caution when using Hotelwiz for their hotel bookings. Transparency and honesty are essential for fostering trust in the service industry, and in this instance, Hotelwiz has failed to uphold these values.
