I recently signed up with Hostwinds and I must say, the experience has been nothing short of fantastic. From the get-go, setting up my website was incredibly straightforward, thanks to their user-friendly interface.
Web ui is very slow. In client area chat pops up even after I've closed it several times and there's no option to turn it off completely, plus it uses sound, which I've turned off, but this setting is not persisted.

I have been using a Hostwinds Windows server for several years. I needed a Linux server for another website and was able to easily add one to my existing account. I had the new site up and running in a couple hours complete with an SSL installed.
The server provides as expeced, however there seems to be a lot of latency issues - also more than the 200ms stated through the remote desktop application. It was not an issue, just a litte more frustrating to get ready, when everything is delayed.
Overall I am well satisfied still:-)
