Be mindful when creating servers. Created two Unmanaged VPS server, one by mistake, paid only for the one I wanted using paypal and somehow was charged for both. Their return policy was fair (72h) but it seemed kind of strange how I managed to accomplish that.
I also changed my shopping experience from 4 stars to 3 stars due to the fact that reviewing needs a title and description

Had three websites migrated to Hostwinds. After four months of countless support tickets, the websites never worked correctly. Frustrated with their hack attempts, I moved to Hostinger. Using the same backup files as provided to Hostwinds, migration with Hostinger was seamless and absolutely no issues using Wordpress. The difference in speed was dramatic. I requested a prorated refund from Hostwinds. Buyer beware. They only offer a credit on additional services. A gimmick. Who would want to remain with a provider after such a deplorable experience. In my view, this gimmick is tantamount to coercion to trade up and double down on a pathetic experience. I have no idea how many sales were lost using Hostwinds but thankfully, Hostinger had my sites up and running smoothly with the added advantage of very fast Wordpress editing online. If using Wordpress, I would strongly recommend avoiding Hostwinds. Their technical staff is underwhelming.

I signed up for hosting and they provided no service. Just kept creating support tickets passed on in an endless circle! I finally canceled and expected a refund but they refused. Even putting my account into collections even though they owe me! Beware of these people!

I made a couple mistakes during the setup process of my Wordpress site. Hostwinds support assisted me with every request I had that day. I had probably 5 or 6 requests before I was finished and all setup on my blog.

I've used Hostwinds for about 10 years. They are a solid company. They have live chat support with techs that are almost immediately there. I have used companies that it took 30-60 min or longer waiting in a queue before you get to chat with someone. I much appreciate how fast they pick up chat. That's a winner in my book, especially when you have a problem.

I appreciate the updates after ordering. The ordering process took a while. I ended up having to do it twice and the second time through cost a few bucks more for the same thing. I'd tried a few months ago to get a similar set-up, but there was no availability. Other than that, I was happy with the chat support during the order. It was fast! I also appreciate the updates on how close we are to setting up. I look forward to working with Hostwinds!

I am already a hostwinds dedicated server customer, adding a bigger server. The hosting service itself is pretty good. The setup process is, in my opinion, unnecessarily slow. I got a message eight hours ago that the setup was complete, just need to activate windows. Then crickets.

I can honestly say I am fully satisfied with the quality of their services. Recommend Hostwinds to others. A really big Thank You to all Hostwinds staff! Lots of features, very knowledgeable fast and friendly support and the price is reasonable. The speed of my sites is great, I have only positive feedback from my visitors about the work of my site.

Am looking at needing hosting for more websites and registration of domain names and not sure if I'll stick with these guys just went with them cause they were recommended and they do adult xxx site hosting

It was very easy to purchase hosting at a great introductory rate, and the yearly renewal rate is still extremely competitive. I was previously with another host for the past two years and so already had my domain and website built. Hostwing's technical staff was extremely fast in getting my site migrated and making sure I stayed online the whole time! I expect this time next year I'll be happy to renew!
