I am sure you know what I mean... Not only did tech support answer my ticket this weekend regarding a problem I had transferring and setting up my domain, they went back and checked again on their own to see if I got my site up and running... WOW! I am impressed!
I love Hostwinds hosting. Never had major issues, and every time I have any questions, their support is awesome about helping me to come up with a solution. It was great and after one month I signup for an annual subscription. Today I complete one year with them. Superior in every way! I am amazed by the service I have received as well as the technical support. Submitting a trouble ticket is easy and the response is quick and thorough. I've been hooked!
Signed up and my cost doubled at end of 1st month, the great "deal" apparently only lasted for 30 days. I've been trying to cancel ever since. You have to open a ticket that has to be approved and confirmed, and even after that you still get billed and have to do it all again. I've been trying to cancel for 4 months now and they still keep sending emails for me to confirm this or that, I finally just removed my payment info and am about to do a chargeback, just a huge pain to deal with.
What I really love and was looking for is that Hostwinds' support department could be reached for real round the clock. After purchasing my account was delivered instantly, and the control panel and all the software is fast and user friendly. For today I have monitored no traffic issues or no uptime problems.To date, I have been very happy with hostwinds, their service and especially support I have received.
Had chat help that popped up as soon as I came on site and it was a real person who answered all my questions expertly. The migration took about an hour after the request and my after migration tickets were answered very quickly.
The panel provided by Hostwinds is great, however, the limitations of Weebly is quite constraining for my type of concept. Also, I would not suggest to try and pay with card more than 3 times as they flag you for fraud, even though I have outlined that the card did not work so I used PayPal instead. Nevertheless, I have to now go and print out a form and sign in to prove it was not fraud which is bothersome.
I was amazed at how quickly I was able to put a website online without professional help. They made it easy for me to order a domain to go with my hosting plan, too. I have recommended Hostwinds to everyone I know who is interested in making a website and I will continue to do so.
So far, i love it! Hostwinds has no false advertisements like other providers, for example you don't need to prepay 12+ months just to get an affordable monthly price. And they also have great support, they respond very fast, and they also refunded my server that i accidentally purchased. So far i am very satisfied with their service.
I'd like to voice my appreciation to hostwinds Support Staff. Almost all the time the answers come fast and on target and in a friendly manner. When there's confusion, the guys are still conscientious and solid!

First, they migrated my websites and apps from my old host, then they installed the needed services/applications for my websites to work and went further by optimizing my server so my visitors don't experience slowness that usually happens when one migrates to another host. Hostwinds has been good so far. I needed a domain for development and be able to show the front end to clients (cause sometimes you can't develop on a local interface) - going through the BHW deal made it a bit convoluted, but I guess they need to update the instructions a bit to make it clearer.
So far the server speed is fast, and with enough resources for web development. I can show my portfolio of developed sites to clients on their own subdomain. The interface is fast, and so far I am happy I can quickly deploy Wordpress sites from the control panel.
